This location is at a busy intersection. I came in to purchase tweezers, and they were locked up, so I had to get an employee to open them. Lots of cosmetic items are locked. Lots of teens seemed to be wandering around. Could explain why items had to be locked. read more

Hours: Could be better. I understand not all CVS can be 24 hours, but this could be 24 hours, the population nearby is large enough to support it. Also, Quick Check and 7-11 have limited supplies of OTC medicines, so a 24 hour CVS would be great. Employees: Generally positive experiences with the CVS staff. I personally have not had any issues with the pharmacy. Does seem like they could have more employees working as a pretty long line develops quickly to checkout of the main store because there is only one register and one self check out available. Stock: Mostly ok, but I've run into issues where they've been out of stock of needed items. Sadly this also happens with their cold drinks section. No Arizona Ice tea on a week day was kind of a bummer. Cleanliness: I've had no issues. read more

they do not know what they are doing and are rude. i have a medication that i get monthly that is not covered by insurance and i pay cash. this info is in my records there. instead of reading my record, they delay filling the prescription saying they have to clear it with my insurance! ok no ya don't cause if you took one extra step you would know i pay cash. When i called and told them this, they hung up on me !! Additionally, medicines in short supply take weeks and they never let you know when they come in, you have to keep calling and checking. I have had several really terrible encounters with pharmacy staff there both over the phone and in person. This is the closest pharmacy to our home and unfortunately I don't think I can come here any longer because it's just too upsetting to be treated so disrespectfully. I have cried too many times over misunderstandings with the pharmacy technicians or pharmacists that leave me overwhelmed and unheard. The employees are clearly understaffed and trying to survive, and therefore helping a customer politely or offering guidance is too much to ask I think. I'm frustrated that CVS will not support the employees more because maybe then the pharmacy staff could actually support their customers. I am not a combative or aggressive person, and yet you should have heard the amount of defensiveness and rude commentary that I had hurled at me when asking for suggestions about my medication that was still not filled from a script sent on December 6th (this was the Saturday before Christmas on 12/23 around 10am). Honestly, encounters like this just make me really sad about humanity in general. Be forewarned that there are some people at this pharmacy who are clearly in a lot of pain and will treat you very poorly. Hope they get the support they need. read more

I had to pop in here early morning for some flue remedies for my dear husband to try and cut off his disgusting bug before it infected the house. The layout of the store was easy to find what you needed, and every shelf looked well-stocked and nothing was out of place, which is a difficult task in retail! The lady managing.working the store was so kind and fun... she told me a story about a flu shot she got years ago while she was ringing me up, but ended the story just as she finished ringing me up, which I loved (because as much as I love people, I hate holding up a line and having to linger as someone keeps talking after a transaction ends). If I wasn't forced by my insurance to use CVS I would never come here. Worst run CVS pharmacy in the country with extremely rude techs. Please stay away. Be prepared to be hung up on and treated like dirt. What happened to politeness? I always need to wait hours for my scripts. Walgreens at least lets you request time windows. They just don't care. They look right through you. Every single visit takes half hour at least. Even when there's no line. Every customer, 15 mins of service at least. Terrible customer service and very rude pharmacy technician. I went up to the drive-through to pick up a prescription that I have received multiple text message and voicemails on. The gentleman said he did not have anything for me and did I bother and read or listen to my messages. I've never been treated so rudely before that or pharmacy. Morristown, NJ This pharmacy was my worst nightmare. Not only did they not answer their phones after they texted me to call them but they were incompetent! I ended up driving over and then waiting on line for another 30 mins following the no answer of phones for almost 2 hours. I spoke to store manager and nothing was done. At the store,I asked to speak to pharmacist and the tech made faces at me. The pharmacist complained that he was just too overwhelmed to deal. They did not have my medicine but said Chatham did. I requested that they transfer the order to Chatham. No surprise that they didn't. The Chatham pharmacist was lovely and got it done. I am changing pharmacy and registering a complaint. This is not healthcare. I get that things are different but my time is valuable too. I was appalled. read more

Literally a nightmare of a CVS location. This specific location has botched my monthly prescriptions basically every single time I show up. Staff is continuously rude and unprepared. If you can go absolutely anywhere else for your medication, do it. The pharmacist working, who I wish I had gotten her name, very rudely told me "your doctor doesn't work here" after asking who sent me and why. I had told her my doctor told me to come straight here for my prescription. She laughed at me, yelled from the center desk over the young man who was helping me at the counter, to let me know my doctor doesn't work there and she couldn't tell me when my prescription would be ready. Not only did she rudely tell me they didn't have my prescription nor could tell me when it would be ready, but she announced loudly which two prescriptions I was there to pick up violating any HIPAA regulations she should be expected to follow. I have never been so humiliated or dumbfounded by the disrespect and blatant disregard for privacy. If you have to go to this pharmacy for any reason, I hope you get assisted by anyone other than the brunette woman who was working on 6/21/21 at 4pm. I will be filing a formal complaint for the invasion of privacy and extreme disrespect shown by this pharmacist. read more

Horrible service in the pharmacy department. They told me to call my insurance when they were closed on a Sunday and all they needed to do is call themselves to verify insurance. I have used 3 cvs pharmacies in NC and never had an issue. They admitted that the company should all have the same information but apparently it was a mistake by the cvs pharmacy in this location. They gave me an attitude on top of wasting an hour of my time and said anyways it's the same price. WELL if you were efficient, you could have told me that from the beginning and not waisted an hour of my time when I have a sick daughter to care for. I've never seen such unprofessionalism and no care for the customer whatsoever. They obviously did not want to work but that is part of their job to call and verify insurance not make the customer call. read more

No matter if you do drive through, have an issue over the phone or pick up in the store, the staff is super friendly and helpful. Basically I am writing two seperate reviews - one for the pharmacy and one for the front store. I've had no issues with shopping at this CVS location. The staff are courteous, helpful, and keep the place in order. Some of the staff / store managers are exceptionally helpful, patient and pleasant. 5 stars. Pharmacy - 1 star. I'm sorry to even rate it so poorly considering how pleasant and helpful a select handful of the employees are. In April 2020 I had a horrific experience with a pharmacist who I am absolutely certain broke privacy laws and CVS code of conduct with her absurd lack of professionalism. I literally left the pharmacy in shock and tears. I've attempted to describe the incident in customer surveys, but have no idea if anything was done about it. I wouldn't be surprised if she lost her job by now. She may have snapped under the stress of the pandemic and dealing with awful customers, which I sympathize for, but either way despite being absolutely courteous towards her, her conduct was reprehensible. There is a female technician that seems consistently rude and displays a nasty attitude. If she's at the drive thru, she seems miserable to be doing her job and acts irritated and burdened to interact with you no matter how polite you are. Her communication is short, sloppy and unprofessional. Lastly, I had a pretty bad flu shot experience here. The pharmacist was completely overworked being the only pharmacist present. I waited around for about an hour after my scheduled appointment time for her to finally have a free minute. She seemed underprepared and rushed, and hit a capillary in my arm which quickly started streaming blood as we stood in the waiting area. She placed bloodsoaked alcohol pads or wipes on the bare counter, visibly getting blood on surfaces accessible to customers and bloodying her gloves. She struggled to get items into the sharps container. She also had to run back to get more cotton (should have had that to begin with). She wiped the blood from my arm but left a big smear down my arm instead of thoroughly cleaning it off. I also got a pneumonia vaccine right after and it didn't bleed excessively. Here's the thing- she said the 2nd shot didn't bleed because I had relaxed my arm and before I tensed it up too much. I felt like she was trying to deflect any responsibility for the messy scenerio (which happened in front of customers) by basically pointing out I caused it myself by tensing up. I'm 100% certain my arm was not tensed the first time at all, she just happened to hit a capillary and her kit was underprepared for it. I hope they sterilized everything immediately afterwards. read more

I was with my niece to buy a few things (junk food) and my niece found a Maui shampoo and we wanted to find where it came from so we went to the cashier (only workers there) and said I just had to find it. So I finally did and I see that the Maui shampoo is $10. This is a complete ripoff At Walmart the price is only $6 and if you go to the Maui website you can see as well that it is only $6.97 . Do not buy here because you're wAsting money without being aware of it . Go to another shop like Walmart read more

Their Pharmacy in Morristown on Speedwell Avenue is clearly understaffed as I routinely end up waiting on hold for well over 15 - 20 minutes to talk to the pharmacist. And when my doctor sends in a prescription, unless I call ahead to let them know that I am picking it up, it will not be ready that same day. They are understaffed and behind in all the work they do. In the past 8 months, I've had 4 Rx's filled at this pharmacy. NOT ONCE were they ready when promised. As a matter of fact, on two occasions I had to wait an additional 24 hours. The staff behind the Pharmacy are completely unorganized and there are ALWAYS at least 8 or 9 customers waiting for assistance, most impatient due to errors and ridiculous wait times. First of all i was not contacted saying my medication was ready. When I have been calling over and over. Then, they tell me ten minutes before closing that it is filled after I call. Once I get to the the pharmacy (I get there 5 minutes before 8) the person in front of me takes 5 minutes. I got to the front right when it turns 8 and they shut the divider right in my face and wouldn't give me my prescription. I have narcolepsy and I am leaving for Christmas tomorrow and without my medication I can collapse. The amount of disrespect I faced tonight is absolutely ridiculous. I was literally sitting in the pharmacy drive through bawling my eyes out. The employees in the pharmacy are named Christina, Christian and Rada. If this doesn't get seen by corporate I will call them myself. The lack of human decency disgusts me. read more

Incompetence at its best in the pharmacy. The guy working the desk asked me for my address twice because he deleted it while typing it in. The pharmacist was clueless and farted around for 30 minutes before telling me they didn't have one of the two prescriptions in stock that I needed. So we left and headed to Walgreens. When I got to Walgreens the pharmacist told me that CVS had already billed my insurance (FOR A SCRIPT THEY DIDN'T EVEN FILL) and because they had a lock on it, CVS would have to reverse the insurance billing before she could fill it. She had to spend all that time on the phone with the pharmacy folks at CVS. Meanwhile, I am in extreme pain, and waiting for pain pills with all this extra bullshit was not comfortable. Avoid this Pharmacy at all costs. Complete incompetence. Who's got time for that? read more

Absolutely terrible pharmacy here. It took 25 minutes just to drop the prescription off. They couldn't give me a pick up time because they were too busy. When i called three hours later i was told someone was checking if the med was ready. I was put on hold for 25 minutes, i arrived there to pock it up before they even came back to the phone. Dropped off my Prescriptions and it was filled very quick. I was able to run to a few other stores and pick it all three scripts up on my way back through. Very knowledgeable pharmacist. For a new store they have things together. Unsure about the other reviews but my experience was really good with this CVS read more

AVOID THE PHARMACY! 2nd trip to CVS to pick-up a prescription and I am yet again leaving empty handed! First CVS Morristown took 2 days to fill a common prescription I received after a trip to Urgent Care. I FINALLY get the automated call that my script is ready for pickup but when I arrive "they can't find me in the system"....only after the two people in front of me in line ALSO were not found in the system - coincidence!?! I decided to try to pick-up my script again and I arrive and there are 8 people waiting - after waiting 30 mins in line to not even make it to the counter I gave up. At this point I would rather spend a hour two on the phone trying to transfer my script somewhere I can actually pick it up from! I am still on hold after 14 minutes for an answer about whether or not an OTC product is in stock. Simple request. The person that I initially spoke with should be monitoring the phone to ensure that someone picked up and helped me. Not a very good first impression. I plan to take my business elsewhere. Terrible customer service. Blonde pharmacist couldn't have been more rude about not wanting to refill my prescription without a doctor verbal verification and holding on to my prescription. If that is required then obviously it's not a problem but she was so rude throughout the entire encounter and I am highly offended. I will not be back to this CVS again. read more

The last and several experiences in this specific pharmacy the workers treat you like thieves always following you around breathing on your neck and always following you to the next isle which is really aggravating when they don't even ask you for assistance and leave. They laughed in pity over the anger they noticed and tried to act tough until they realized there was a cop outside and hid inside while I talked to the cop over the harassment of being monitored. read more
