In fact I received 4 text messages yesterday confirming my appointment for today. I arrived 15 minutes early as that's what they require. I went up to the pharmacy, waited for someone to get off the phone, and told her I was here for my Covid vaccine. She shook her head and said they didn't have any. She also said she called everyone to let them know. I received no phone call. She said they ran out yesterday morning. I received all 4 text confirmations after they ran out. She said she called everyone, then looked at her list and said maybe she missed it. WTF? I drove almost 1/2 hour each way to this non existent appointment. This was beyond ridiculous.

When I was checking out at the self-checkout kiosk, I kept getting an error message from the card reader and was getting frustrated. Fortunately, a woman at the front helped me out right away. I had seen her earlier when she was greeting customers entering the store. She was super quick with fixing the problem and was friendly with a good sense of humor. I was grateful she helped me out since I was short on time. 5-stars for great customer service. I've been to this store a number of times, and the aisles are always stocked and neat. I haven't tried the pharmacy section because I normally go to a different CVS location, but I may switch over since this one has a drive-thru (though some of the Yelp reviews about the pharmacy are a little eye brow raising). For a long time, I hesitated going to this CVS because it was built on the former site of Pal's Cabin, a West Orange landmark that was torn down for the chain store, but I guess enough time has passed. The associate assisted all of us serenely and politely. He, (Yad V Z) acquired my photos from my device via cables and printed out the order. The BEST, invaluable help provided was that in the confusion, I had left my apple lap top at the photo center. While on my way home, I was informed immediately about my missing laptop via text (from my order) and was able to retrieve my device which contained all of the material for a PBS.org documentary film shoot from early this morning for the next few days. Obviously, if not for the quick attention by the associate Yad V Z, we would have not been able to go on with our work. Infinite thanks to Yad V Z and to Wallgreens for maintaining a community dimensioned service where they care about customers.
