Outstanding assistance provided by photo associate Yad V Z to mitigate a mal function in the online print service. Several customers were present at the photo desk due to the malfunction. The associate assisted all of us serenely and politely. He, (Yad V Z) acquired my photos from my device via cables and printed out the order. The BEST, invaluable help provided was that in the confusion, I had left my apple lap top at the photo center. While on my way home, I was informed immediately about my missing laptop via text (from my order) and was able to retrieve my device which contained all of the material for a PBS.org documentary film shoot from early this morning for the next few days. Obviously, if not for the quick attention by the associate Yad V Z, we would have not been able to go on with our work. At 8:17 AM when the three people in the pharmacy appeared to be doing rather little, I pulled into the drive through pharmacy lane with my profoundly disabled child. I produced my Driver's License and asked if I could purchase some 30 mg pseudoephedrine tablets, as my child was very sick and quite miserable. The technician told me to come in, to which I told her my child was too sick to come in, as congestion was dripping out of his eyes. I was told to wait a few minutes and then was told the pharmacist said I had to come inside, even though I agreed to put my license through their slot. Needless to say, I drove away and went to their competitor, but interesting how one could pick up a prescribed controlled substance through the drive through pharmacy lane with no identification, but a parent of a child with severe disabilities can not purchase a few over the counter pseudoephedrine tablets with a Driver's License in the same drive through. I encourage others to make the same decision and find more suitable alternatives! read more

This place has gone completely downhill. The pharmacy has given up and just does not care. They filled my prescription wrong and when I called they said the pharmacist had to handle it and wasn't available. I called back at the time they suggested and they didn't answer the phone for over an hour. Had me on hold then no answer. Not worth the hassle. If this is the new Walgreens experience , the company is doomed. Time to move on. read more

I filled a prescription at West Caldwell Walgreens and used the app RX I asked the counter person to cheek fir best pricing it was going to be over $70 but the app got it for me at $54.65 when I got home I opened the bottle and took one of the pills. Then I looked at the app myself only to discover the app listed it at Costco for less than $20 also shoprite had itt for $20 I felt I was misinformed and MUGGED I went to the Walgreens to be told we can't refund you the over charged amount... This place has every thing. Parking lot Is convenient to get in and out of quickly and the store is big... The negative part about this is how long it takes for the cashier to ring up your purchases.... The one guy takes a hundred years and has to ask you first if u wanna buy a pack of gum/package of peanuts/candy bar to donate to someone or other..... Pharmacy used to be great when they were 24 hours, since then I'm noticing new people all the time and whatever staff they have now are rude. They can't handle the pressure of a few customers in line so they have major attitude problems when you have a question or confront them with a problem; I've had family members prescriptions messed up on a few occasions like forgetting to apply insurance and miscounting pills. read more

This review is my opinion of Walgreens. Pharmacy staff is dropping the ball on many levels. Rude is an understatement. IMO the staff is either over worked or lazy. Zero follow up and zero patient care. They don't care from the top down. Call regional management and get a true glimpse. You need to call corporate and let them know. In my life I have never walked out of a business without finishing the transaction, until my most recent trip to Walgreen's. I arrived at the pharmacy at 6:45pm and waited apx 20 minutes to drop of a prescription. they had a consulting and a drop off window at this facility, but neither were open. When a customer after me asked one of them laughed and said ummmm we only have one line. I then took another 20 minutes to check to see if they had the medicine in stock. So 40 minutes after I arrived I had placed my order. PATHETIC! BUT IT GETS WORSE!!!!!!!!!!! I was quoted a time of 20 minutes to fill my order (three pill bottles that they had in stock) The gentleman who took my order (an assistant manager) was gone by the time I looked up, I later saw him talking to a woman about photography, and when I tried to call out to him he turned his back and walked into an office. One other employee left for the day, now leaving the pharmacist and one clearly new assistant to fill the orders and deal with costumers. One hour later I started to complain. I was asked five separate times for my name, by four people. Three separate groups of customers dropped off and picked up prescriptions ahead of me, and when the assistant manager finally wondered back to help he was disrespectful to me when I complained. Finally the pharmacist got to my order, telling me that a slight insurance problem would not allow me to get one medication in the quantity I wanted. I said that was fine I would deal with it on my own and to fill what insurance would cover. But it gets better, it is now approaching 9:00pm and I'm told it's ready thank GOD. The snotty assistant manager rings me up and asks simply "did the pharmacist talk to you about this medication' I said yup no problem we worked things out. Then I looked down and there were only two medications on my receipt. At this point I lost my cool, asked for the prescription (the completely unfilled paper) back, and paid for what was in front of me. Almost three hours to do a 20 minute task. I am signing up with Yelp to post this review, these people are disorganized and not worthy of your business. Avoid at all costs. read more
