Several times I have asked for help and received more attitude and little service. Employees talk more among themselves than they do to shoppers.

The man working the area walked over and intensely watched every single item I scanned. As soon as I finished, he snatched my shopping basket away so fast that my keys were actually still inside it. Listen, I completely understand that loss prevention is important and retail stores have to deal with shoplifting, but there was absolutely no reason to treat a paying customer like a criminal. I have no intention of stealing, and the staff could be a lot friendlier and less aggressive about how they handle the checkout area. The beauty section staff were great, but the checkout experience was uncalled for.

A lot of stuff was always too expensive there, but I went to get soda. chips, and the stuff on sale. From now on I am officially done with Walgreens and their price increases. 3.29 for 2 liters. 5.29 for a rather small 1/2 bag of chips (8-9 oz.) What a rip off! From now on I will only go there for my wife's medication. And that's it. This isn't inflation, it is simply greed on the part of Walgreens Corporation. Get this, everything is cheaper at Thornton's now, which was always an unbelievable rip-off, but now is cheaper then Walgreens!

So when I called walgreens and managed to get a hold of a human, I was told this one was open 24 hours. I called them and they were able to move and fill my prescription right away. However, it wasn't something they did in a friendly manner. Instead I felt like they were annoyed to have to do something. The tone of the person on the phone was displeased to say the least. A similar issue at pickup, the gentleman who was running the counter wouldn't even acknowledge my small talk. Just flat out ignored me. Overall they can have a 3, they did the thing I needed, when I needed it done. That's good enough. A little customer service would go a long way... I know I'd be fired at my job if I acted that way and my job isn't potentially life or death like a pharmacy.

I even had the manufacturers customer service number and also my insurance phone numbers. They argued with both the manufacturer and the insurance. Finally called my doctor and switched to another pharmacy and only needed to pay $25. Big savings and they were trying to make me pay the $1100. Way to go on loosing a sale with your terrible customer service.

But again their pharmacist is unable to reach Osco pharmacist, because they told me they are understaffed. Good Luck with flu vaccines, any vaccines, fall and winter cold season. They are so understaffed and overwhelmed, nothing functions. I'm calling the manager of the store, they keep connecting me to the pharmacy. My entire Day Off- Friday spent trying to have my prescription sent over to Walgreens across the street!
