It used to be great but lately if you're looking for a new pharmacy, this place is really not the one because trust me you'll end up in a hospital waiting for your pills. they send you out notifications to tell you your pills are ready. You go in there to pick them up and either they tell you they don't have them or they don't have a prescription for your name I swear when they closed 1200 Walgreens stores last year they sent some of the lazy incompetent pharmacist tec's there . I am surprised at the large amount of negative reviews of this store, as I thought it was far and away nicer than the Meijer stores near my home. I visited here while dogsitting for a friend and was impressed at how bright and clean the store is, especially compared to my local Meijer. The employee at the Service Desk was friendly and efficient and while of course no other employee said a word to me as I traversed the entire store, I am used to that from Meijer and it didn't bother me at all. I found a sale salad for the next day's lunch and was amazed at how clean the checkout area was: No shopping baskets strewn about or random coupons littering the floor. This is not a vivid caused issue. Their order site says the $4.95 credit card charge will fall off after several days that then they re-charged me an additional $4.95 that did not fall off. Additionally the total shown on the site includes free shipping but if it's not over $50 then they charge you an additional $4.95. They don't tell you that it won't be rebated until after it is on your credit card statement. then, they substituted the wrong Item. Then when you call to try and get it cleared up the customer service line has no way to contact the store and the store has to contact them using the same general public phone number. It is a comedy of errors and their entire customer service process is abysmal read more

When going to the self checkout line they should ask you if you're going to pay cash or credit before getting in line. The other checkout lines should have the divider between orders. Just clean it when done. It makes it hard to figure out where to put the food if nothing is there. Then the cashier can easily give you someone else's food. read more

I used to love Meijer. Then they started cutting back so wait times were too long at cashiers. Then they added more and more self-service, with too many things needing an employee to override. I stopped going to them after leaving $300 worth of groceries in the middle of checkout. Decided to try them again since they were the closest place that had dry ice. Lines weren't bad, but when it came to the dry ice, the employees aren't allowed to touch it, so either way it with the cooler I brought in and pay for the weight or take it out myself and place it on their scale and back into my cooler. If employees can't touch it -- DON'T SELL IT. Again extremely disappointed in the management response and policies. It will be several more years before I go back, if ever. read more

This has been our go to supermarket for a number of years now, but sadly the store inventories are worse than they ever than they have been and its not covid related its inventory control. You go in to purchase an item that has 5 different flavors and the has 12 facings of the product well it doesn't take rocket science to figure out that if something has two facings and its selling out faster than any of the other facings of the product then increase its facings to hold more product and reduce the other flavors that are just sitting and not selling through...geesh common sense! This store is bad about ad items being in stock most of the time, you place weekly ad to bring your customers in and you have no ad items because you ran out...not acceptable! Now Meijers is using the 2 for $$$ as an example but if you buy one its full retail price ,it use to be a few months ago you would buy the one at half the 2 for $$$ price meaning you would purchase it for half that sale price. I went through the store and got between $150 to $200 worth of products. In the Pepsi aisle I found cases of Mountain Dew can marked at 3 for $12. I told the employee who was stocking the shelves that it was a great price for M.D. He agreed and I began the painful process of loading 2 cases of soda from the bottom shelf to my cart. I am checking out and the cases ring up at $8.29 apiece I told the checkout girl the price I saw. She tried to fix it but could not, so she called Clarissa (not 100 % sure of name) over to assist. But, recently, while shopping the night before a graduation party with my mom, they were very rude and unhelpful. I've shopped at Meijer but today will be my last visit. I placed an order for delivery on meijer. Com for delivery. I asked for no substitutions and yet I got several things that I didn't order. I called Shipt and was informed I had to bring the items back to meijer for a credit. I went to the McHenry meijer and was told that I had to go through shipt. The gentlemen at shipt was beyond nice and explained to the woman who wasn't having it and told me to call shipt again because they aren't taking it back. So now I'm stuck with items I paid for yet never ordered. Unlike another reviewer I've never had problems with returns and I've done many as I also buy products for my home which are easy to return if they don't work out. It's even made easier with being a member of MPerks which allows them to look up receipts if I've misplaced them. Love Meijer. This one's always busy. My only complaint (with all Meijers, really) is that there is a really poor organic produce section. I don't usually need help, but when I DO need assistance, it's sometimes difficult to find an employee. Still, once you can find some, life is good. I last went with my mom: we were on a mission to purchase a bike for her. (We first went to the other big-box store down the street, but their selection was awful and the employees pretty much ignored us.) We did locate one she liked, and got some help from two teenaged boys. See, we didn't want the display model since it was all scratched up, so they located another in the back for us and brought it to us. They also pumped up the tires (not well, though) and helped answer some questions about bike seats. In all I don't really think they knew much about the bikes themselves, but they really tried. They were also able to hold in their giggles while watching me ride down the aisle of the store to test it out. I have no shame! :) In all our bike experience excelled the one we had at the other store. She got a decent bike that didn't break the bank. read more

Last night while visiting your establishment I was confronted by two employees telling me that I couldn't enter your store because I was not wearing a mask. I needed to speak with customer service over an item I left at the checkout. I stated that I have a medical condition preventing me from wearing a face mask and was told I couldn't have service due to me not having a mask on. My wife, who is a little darker skin color than me, had visited your store three times in past week was not confronted or harassed or even asked to wear one. I feel that the employee who is African American, denied me service based on my skin color, sex and medical conditions. When I explained I have medical issues I was ridiculed, causing me undue physical and mental distress. Because of this experience I was forced to take additional medication and will be contacting a professional. I understand SOME people may take advantage of this situation, but not all disabilities are visually apparent. If I was not able to wear shoes, you would not deny me service or entry into your store. As a result of having disabilities my income is limited, therefore, I am also unable to afford the things that allow others to do their shopping online. The ADA strictly says you may not discriminate due to ANY disabilities or differences. I sincerely hope you educate your employees and include disability sensitivity. Perhaps a conversation with a lawyer would be more lucrative concerning the discrimination, racism and sexism? read more
