I thought that the store was spacious, nicely designed, and clean. It contained a good assortment of products for medications, hygiene products, beauty products, etcetera. Prices for some products seemed to be higher than what other retail stores charge. On the shelves, my husband and I found a particular topical pain-relief product that he needed. We did not see a cashier at the cash register, so we called out, "Hello!" Soon an employee walked to the cash register. She did not say hello to us, but she accurately rang up our purchase, and she wished us a good day. At home, I opened the box for the topical pain-relief product, and I noticed that the bottle had leaked and dried on the exterior. I believe that it had leaked and dried a long time before I purchased it. I felt disappointed that we did not have a full bottle to use, but I cleaned the exterior of the bottle in the sink, and we were able to use the remaining product. Please note that I have never used this store's pharmacy, so I cannot comment on it.

I simply went on their website, logged in, saw several appointment times over the next few days, and made appointments for my husband and me. On the day of our appointments, the pharmacist was courteous and did an excellent job with the vaccine injections. To ensure that my husband and I did not experience any allergic reactions, we hung around by shopping in the store. I picked up a few items such as contact solution, hamburger buns, and cat litter. Products were in stock, and prices were low compared to many other retailers. At the checkout, several cashiers were working, and only one customer was ahead of us in line. The cashier wore a face mask, greeted us, accurately rang up our items, and thanked us.

They have ordered replacements but they are on backorder. Giant Eagle is a regional supermarket chain that was founded in Pittsburgh about 100 years ago. Most locations are in Pennsylvania, but some are in nearby states such as Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland, and Indiana. This particular location is in the North Hills near McCandless Township and Wexford. This grocery store has all of the typical departments: fruits, vegetables, meats, seafood, dairy, deli, bakery, prepared foods, canned foods, frozen foods, personal-care products, household supplies, floral department, etcetera. I occasionally shop at this store for groceries. Most recently, I stopped by to cash in lottery tickets, to purchase more lottery tickets, and to pick up a few foods. The techs and pharmacists always ask if I have questions about my prescription which shows that they care and want us to be educated on the medications themselves. If I am purchasing a medication that is not over the counter and am not sure what is the best one based on symptoms, the pharmacist has come out from behind the counter and has directed me to what will be most beneficial. If needed, I will grab some cosmetic things while in the store - deodorant, toothpaste, eyeliner, greeting cards, etc. The prices are typical retail store prices. Sometimes they have a decent discount section that includes after holiday/season items and those items go fast! Overall this is a solid retail/pharmacy store in the area. Okay- fine- I'll do that- but then I had to wait another 15 minutes for them to change something in their computer to fill the partial script that they were about to hand me if I was coming back tomorrow. They weren't polite in any regard, and now, not only do I have to deal with the hassle of calling the other pharmacy to have it transferred, but I have to make another trip out AND pay my co-pay again, since it will be a new place. During my most recent visit, I was looking for a particular over-the-counter medication and also doing some general browsing. I thought that the store was spacious, but many shelves were empty. I saw some medications, hygiene products, beauty products, etcetera. I liked that some cosmetics had significantly reduced prices. The particular over-the-counter medication for which I was looking was not in stock. Similar products were in stock, but their prices were very high compared to what other stores charge. An employee kindly greeted me as I walked around, and I asked if the store had any other products in stock, and it did not. This store also has a pharmacy, but I have not used it recently.
