Great facility, employees are kind and helpful. Technicians are considerate. They now have valet parking for free, great service.

This clinic used to be good, but within the past several weeks, they changed the staff in their call center that schedules all the appointments, and put new policies in place that are nothing short of horrible. They used to have one spot open per day for IVF patients who needed an ultrasound the next day to confirm the egg retrieval date, but they scrapped that policy making it impossible to schedule anything unless it is several days in advance. Also, it does not matter if you are an existing customer in the system. or that you just had an appointment yesterday, you have to provide all of your information all over again as if you were a brand new patient. This is frustrating and a waste of time. Their new policies are horrible and I will never go back to them again. It's not worth the frustration. They no longer want to care about customers, fine, there are other places to go. The only good Customer Service person is Oma; they do have one that is amazing. I had my first appointment at Weinstein Imaging for a repeat mammogram from another imaging office. I can't say enough about how efficient and wonderful the staff was here. The girls were so caring and gentle. Dr Chang came in to introduce himself to me and wanted to know if I had any questions. I especially liked that when you get your mammogram you get your results immediately! If I needed a sonogram or biopsy that would be done there also. I live about 1 hour away but it is worth the drive and I will go back for my mammograms and any other imaging I may need! I would highly recommend them!!!! read more

The staff and doctors are very pleasant and efficient. Great for basic mammograms. Based on my experience, I would say that if they recommend extra imaging or a biopsy, get a second opinion from another facility to make sure it's necessary. Based on just my experience I would also say to get a biopsy done elsewhere, if needed. The parking lot is laid out poorly and often doesn't have spaces, so if you're coming up Center Ave (from Oakland towards East Liberty) I'd recommend parking on the street before you get to their parking lot- there have always been spaces open right in front of their building, and if you pull into the parking lot it's a huge pain to get facing back in the right direction on Center. read more

Could not be happier with my visit to Weinstein especially with Doctor Bohm Velez she is so knowledgeable and compassionate especially when there is something very serious it was my privilege to have had her as my doctor during this trying time in my life if you need an expert breast researcher this is where to go read more

After being a patient for 10 years, I can still applaud Weinstein Imagining for being prompt, courteous, professional, and very caring. The staff is so warm and friendly. I have been seen by Dr. Sharek and Dr. Bohm-Velez and both physicians are extremely knowledgeable and very compassionate. Nothing is worse than the anxiety of waiting for the results as it is at other facilities, so it is so wonderful to have a doctor on staff at Weinstein Imaging to read the mammogram right away. Everyone in this office is particularly nice & professional from the receptionist to the nurses who do the actual testing to Dr. Chang. All are very pleasant with smiles on their faces. I actually almost forgot the appointment and called to say I would be 20 minutes late, & without any sighing or aggravated sound, they said that would be no problem they could just take the next patient in front of me first. As promised, I came in 20 mins late, waited no more than 5 mins, and had my testing done. Top notch. I wish all doctors offices were like this one! read more

I have been going to Weinstein Imaging for years. They are all so professional, friendly, and thorough. They are always on time and it's easy to schedule appointments. The best part is there is always a doctor there to read mammograms right away so you get your results before you leave. Strongly recommend them. read more

My wife and I where sent here 6 weeks into our pregnancy. After the technician finished the doctor came in and callously said " I don't see a pregnancy inside or outside the uterus" that crushed both my wife and I. Then just two weeks later my wife and I are sitting in an emergency room where the Magee women's hospital doctor tells us we have an ectopic pregnancy and will have to do surgery. Her falopian tube was the size of a soda can and had to be removed. This almost cost her life and may have cost us our chances at parent hood. No matter what these people tell you get a second opinion. Your life or your future may depend on it. read more

I had a great experience getting an ultrasound done in this office. I had a high risk pregnancy so I had more ultrasounds than what is typical. I had a previous scan done at another practice and it felt very rushed and impersonal. So we decided to give Weinstein Imaging Associates a try and I'm very happy we did. Mickey who did our scan was AMAZING! She explained everything that she was seeing to us and really took her time trying to get pictures of our sweet little babe! I'm glad we decided to go to this office and I will for sure go back because of how thorough she was. read more

Before signing paperwork I asked if my insurance covered 3D imaging, you told me yes but I just received a $300.00 bill also, after imaging I was told to wait for results so I waited an hour. Dr. Came in and said everything looked good, nothing to worry about. A week later I received a letter from my PCP saying I need to schedule an appointment with a specialist. You lied to me twice. Shame on you. You are horrible people!!!! read more

I would like to say after going to weinstein imaging they are the best! I don't wish to cast aspersions on others, whom I have tried in the way past, but only to praise every aspect of Weinstein imaging. Starting with the ease of making an appointment with the lovely receptionist, followed by the professionalism of the staff and the careful attention to detail. Explaining each procedure and discussing what is best for my individual case. I now use 3D tomography...I believe it is called. .....Instead of normal basic mammogram. Having dense breasts this is much better success rate in locating any problem areas. I also go religiously for my bone density tests there and have also had ultra sounds . After each of my procedures I have met with Dr. MArcela Bohm Velez who is brilliant, compassionate and beyond knowledgeable on every aspect of Radiology in the female body. ANy question I have and I usually have loads, is carefully explained in detail and then patiently awaits if I have further questions. IF you need a great group for your testing etc ! The environment and attention to detail at this Shadyside location makes me feel so in peace every time I go for my mammogram. It took over 3 hrs to just get mammography and sonography done with such long wait times even after prep. Parking is hard to get and the business manager is either away and hard to get hold of. But if you get a chance to talk to her , be ready for her rudeness.will never go there again! Wouldn't definitely recommend this place especially if you are not well. read more
