I thought that the store was spacious, nicely designed, and clean. It contained a good assortment of products for medications, hygiene products, beauty products, etcetera. Prices for some products seemed to be higher than what other retail stores charge. On the shelves, my husband and I found a particular topical pain-relief product that he needed. We did not see a cashier at the cash register, so we called out, "Hello!" Soon an employee walked to the cash register. She did not say hello to us, but she accurately rang up our purchase, and she wished us a good day. At home, I opened the box for the topical pain-relief product, and I noticed that the bottle had leaked and dried on the exterior. I believe that it had leaked and dried a long time before I purchased it. I felt disappointed that we did not have a full bottle to use, but I cleaned the exterior of the bottle in the sink, and we were able to use the remaining product. Please note that I have never used this store's pharmacy, so I cannot comment on it.

The store also has a pharmacy and a bank. My husband and I occasionally shop here for regular groceries. During our most recent visit, we thought that the store was well-stocked, well-organized, and clean. We found all foods for which we were looking. The cashier and the bagger performed their jobs well. The prices were alright. The parking lot had an adequate number of spaces for vehicles and seemed to be safe.

They have ordered replacements but they are on backorder. Their retail store sells over-the-counter medications as well as health and hygiene products, lottery tickets, etcetera. Their lunch counter serves breakfast and lunch foods (please see my attached photos for the menu). On a Saturday morning, my husband and I visited Adzema Pharmacy to eat breakfast. We walked through the front door, and a cashier greeted us. We did not initially see the lunch counter, so we asked the cashier, and they told us to turn left and walk to the back. The lunch counter looked as if it had not been remodeled in decades. We saw a couple rows of long tables as well as some smaller round tables with chairs, and we sat down at a table of our choosing. Several minutes later, a waitress gave us menus. After another several minutes, the waitress took our order for beverages and foods. We waited and waited for our food to be brought out... The waitress did not bring out our food until 42 minutes after we had arrived! Other customers who had arrived well after we did had already finished eating their food! The food looked simple but was just what my husband and I wanted. My two pancakes were a large size and had butter and syrup on the side (4 stars). My home fries contained some onions and were cooked well (4.5 stars). My side of fruit contained mostly cantaloupe that seemed to have been cut much earlier (3 stars). My husband's ham-cheese omelette tasted "fine" according to him (4 stars). His bacon was crispy and tasty (4.5 stars). His bagel was served with flavorful cream cheese (4 stars). His toast was toasted well (3 stars). After I finished eating my meal, I quickly walked through the store to look at their merchandise. An employee at the pharmacy kindly asked me if I needed any assistance. The store shelves showed products such as holiday decorations, wound-care products, hygiene products, walkers and canes, diapers and briefs, greeting cards, snack foods, etcetera. I thought that the prices were higher than what Target charges but were typical for a drugstore. My husband and I paid for our breakfast meal at the cash register in the store. I also purchased two chocolates. The cashier courteously told us to have a great day.

Every employee i have spoke to has been extremely kind and helpful (with one exception..) I have been picking up my prescriptions from Adzema for roughly 6 months now. Unfortunately I (along with another family member) have been shorted on multiple prescriptions. The first time I was thinking I must have misplaced, or that it was my fault somehow some way. It was not until I got my next month's refill(in a larger pill bottle, in which I counted the correct amount), to then pour the capsules into the previous month's smaller bottle to see that 20-30 capsules would not fit in.. I did not reach out to the pharmacy then, but I recorded a video of the capsules not fitting incase it were to occur again in the future.. Fast forward a couple months later, I was yet again shorted on my prescription.. I went into speak with a pharmacist regarding the issue. I calmly explained the issue in detail, and showed him the video proof of being shorted in the past. I expected him to take accountability and apologize , but instead I was met with attitude and questioning. It was extremely unprofessional and uncalled for. I would not recommended Adzema Pharmacy.

I originally had gone back to Giant Eagle in Glenshaw, Pa. which is where I transferred my prescriptions from to Rite-Aid years ago because of their overwhelming incompetence, but as a result of Rite-Aid's closing I went back to Giant Eagle out of immediate necessity. Again, Giant Eagle was still no better (maybe worse) than previously endured. I then decided to go to Walgreens across the parking lot. The first refill seemed to be ok. I had a good customer service experience. Then, it turned into every single refill being a frustrating episode. My prescriptions were delayed or disputed or both. I researched the Walgreens pharmacy policy's and had to resort to face to face confrontations with pharmacy staff. I had always proven my point too. My latest experience is my last experience with this Walgreens. It is taking me several days now to get my prescriptions refilled. I had to call the Walgreens pharmacy at this location to discuss the problems. After I had relayed what was going on with my prescription refills I had mentioned that I came to them from Giant Eagle because of the same incompetent handling of my prescriptions. The female that I was conversing with immediately replied with the question of which Giant Eagle do I want them to transfer my prescriptions to? I had to ask her if she was willing to transfer my prescriptions to another pharmacy instead of trying to assist me with my problem at the same pharmacy that she was on the phone representing? In a huff she tells me that she will ask the pharmacist to assist me. I finally was connected to someone that had claimed to be the pharmacist there. I was peddled excuse after excuse including trying to shift the problem back on me. I offered physical proof of what the issue was at that time that contradicted their excuses only to finally tell me that they will fill my prescription for that day and I may pick it up that day as well. I have no real problem with the retail sector just their pharmacy.

Giant Eagle is a regional supermarket chain that was founded in Pittsburgh about 100 years ago. Most locations are in Pennsylvania, but some are in nearby states such as Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland, and Indiana. This particular location is in the North Hills near McCandless Township and Wexford. This grocery store has all of the typical departments: fruits, vegetables, meats, seafood, dairy, deli, bakery, prepared foods, canned foods, frozen foods, personal-care products, household supplies, floral department, etcetera. I occasionally shop at this store for groceries. Most recently, I stopped by to cash in lottery tickets, to purchase more lottery tickets, and to pick up a few foods. At both the lottery counter and at the regular checkout, employees promptly and kindly served me. Plenty of cashiers' lanes were open and ready for customers.
