She went to our then-pharmacy--CVS--multiple times. Despite being kind and respectful, she was treated so rudely by the pharmacy techs that she came home in tears. She told me they were speaking badly about patients--including me--and that she couldn't go back. I was heartbroken. I tried to call CVS to address it, but they never returned my calls, even after a week of trying. That's when I knew it was time for a change. Several people in the community recommended B&B Apothecary--and I now understand why. When I called, Ahmad answered personally. He was kind, respectful, and incredibly helpful. He transferred all of my prescriptions from CVS, set up my auto-refills, and made me feel truly cared for--without me even having to ask. Now, after five months with B&B, I will never go back to a chain pharmacy. Ahmad offers the kind of personalized, attentive service that big-box pharmacies just can't match. Even my primary care physician has complimented him multiple times, especially on his ability to compound medications and the high level of service his privately owned pharmacy provides. He's been super helpful. The office staff are a bit scatter brained at times. They don't always know what's going on or have to get help for what should be simple things. Not all of them. But a few need some coaching. The wait is LONG though. I don't know if they overbook or what, but we've waited well over an hour every time we've gone. Not just waiting room either, like once we get to the room itself, over an hour. I'd rather schedule a later appointment and not wait. Other than the wait, seriously, Dr. Dodd is the best.

The medical care is adequate, even more then adequate…read more  The problems are with the front desk and the billing department.  I went in for care on 1/15/2025.  I was told it would cost $250 or so.  I paid the amount (plus a surcharge for using a credit card).  Later when Medicare and my insurance processed the claim they said I owed about half that amount. I called Billing and had to leave a message.  The recording said they would call back the next day.  I waited a few (week) days and...no call back.  So I called Billing again and left a message.  Same result, no call back.  So I called the main office (during business hours) and had to leave a message.  Same result as my messages to Billing, no call back.  So I called Billing again and again left a message including the notice that I will cancel my appointment the next week if this issue is not resolved.  That time they returned my call.  The issue was resolved to my satisfaction. At that appointment they took an x-ray of my feet.  I asked the tech if I could have a CD copy of my x-ray.  She did not say no, just sort of acquiesced .  I forgot to ask for the CD when I left. Next appointment on March 26 I asked for the CD and was told they don't have CDs of x-rays.  They said they could email the x-ray.  I confirmed my email address.  When the x-ray didn't arrive I called the office and left a message.  Again they never called me back. I also logged into the portal and attempted to send them a message.  When I clicked Compose I got a window that asks, ":What type of message do you want to compose?".  But there is nothing to select nor anyplace to enter any text.  So there is no way to message them. Normally I would give this information to "management" but there doesn't seem to be any way to do that with a non-functioning compose window.  So now I am resorting to yelp.

She has the most amazing analytical approach to making prescriptions, and explaining everything. Never had an eye exam like this in all my life. She was even able to have me try on the lenses she recommended using a modular glasses kit. These were for viewing computer monitors for work, so she had me test it out on her monitor. This is the most advanced setup I have ever seen. She spent triple the amount of time with me than any other eye doctor. Do not go anywhere else!
