Tennessee Pediatrics and Dr. Dodd came highly recommended by friends when we moved to Tennessee last year. We love them. Dr. Dodd is seriously the best. He's super helpful and knowledgeable. He has a way to answer stupid questions without making you feel dumb. He doesn't over prescribe or do more than is needed. We really like his theologies in parenting and the "do's and don'ts". He's been super helpful. The office staff are a bit scatter brained at times. They don't always know what's going on or have to get help for what should be simple things. Not all of them. But a few need some coaching. The wait is LONG though. I don't know if they overbook or what, but we've waited well over an hour every time we've gone. Not just waiting room either, like once we get to the room itself, over an hour. I'd rather schedule a later appointment and not wait. Other than the wait, seriously, Dr. Dodd is the best. read more

My daughter went to Dr. Renno from birth until she was 1 year old. Sadly, Dr. Renno moved and we were heartbroken. BUT the woman that replaced her, Dr. Mclain is absolutely amazing and so patient and understanding with my daughter. We also love Dr. Emily and Dr. Dodd whenever we have seen them in walk in hours. read more

Tennessee pediatrics was recommend to me by a nurse at Williamson medical center when I had my daughter. I couldn't have asked for a better pediatrician to take my kids to! Dr. White is amazing and her staff is just as lovely! They are very helpful, patient, kind, and caring here! I've also seen the nurse practitioner who was also very kind and helpful. I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone! I wish I could take them with me when we move cause I'm really going to miss them. read more

Doctors are nice enough, but I've never been here without having to wait a minimum of an hour to see someone ( with an appointment), and one time while waiting for results they actually forgot about us and came in 45 minutes later ( I was in the office a total of 3.5 hrs with two toddlers). The staff repeatedly creates errors in scheduling, which is a shame since I think the doctors are alright. Looking for a new pediatrician at this point. read more

Wish I could say something better but truth is...10 years ago we established ourself with Ms. Rhonda and Dr White. Dr. White has become a household name in Spring Hill. Caring, funny, smart and always knew what was best for our daughter...always on the money. As many of you know Dr. White is no longer at Tennessee Pediatrics. Recently our experience was sub-par. Being in the office twice this week, with one wait time to see Doctor 4 hours we were placed in a room and left for an hour. Finally, the physician came in. Granted they were "swamped" with flu patients. We established what needed to be done for my daughter and went from there. She was given 2 RX (first time.. Nothing... just drink lots of water) I asked if there was something I could give my daughter to help her rest and was asked "for what?" I stated cough, cough, cough, cough, all night, she's not able to rest her body. She responded... Water and honey. We discussed over the counter cough suppressants and I was told again just try honey and water and if that did't work I could give what my little heart desired? What? With a fever as high as 103.8 she hadn't really rested since her first visit 4 days prior. She was just getting ran down. So, we were done. I was told if not better by Monday she needed to be seen again. After a painfully, long, sleepless night, the next morning TN Peds called... To tell me strep was negative. I asked if we could get something because she was up all night coughing and very restless. The receptionist checked with Dr. Reno and I was told Benedryl, honey water and Melatonin . First off, in my daughters chart it states Benedryll has adverse effect and we were told not to use. After 4 days no relief...I'm told this. I see on their website it states they get to know your childs individuals needs...yes Dr. White did. Dr. Reno came to the phone and I explained that Benedryl doesn't work and with the history of pneumonia in the past with Dr. White...she cut me off and told me...she takes "offense to be compared to Dr. White...and continues to tell me "she is no longer an employee of this practice". To diminish her existence to ..an employee that left. To ensure continuity of care and having another physican treat for 10'years it's only natural to bring "the forbidden name up." Too little space here to tell you all, too little time to address, still dealing with a sick daughter. What I was addressing with this physician was ....what has worked in the past, I was addressing what would get her over this bump in the road .....where we have been before and this certain medication works. She took offense to that? She is a naturalist which I am fine with but not with my family. Tea, honey and lemon doesn't cut the coughing, restlessness and snowball of imminent pneumonia. What I can tell you is...I think when you have a relationship with a physician for so many years and you walk into that practice and her picture is still on the wall, so many following her blog and where she is at with Doctors Without Borders, attend her going away party and every med in the cabinet is from this provider and your child's baby book has her name and stick figures of her and so on and so on....you shouldn't take offense when MOM states WHAT WORKS in the past and "it's not practicing medicine." It's pretty obvious she's very young, a new doctor establishing herself and not experienced YET in a clinical situation to not know how to handle or recognize individual needs and concerns. She will learn, but not with my family. She was abrupt, confrontational, and placed her medical beliefs.... Holistic approach vs medication regimen on me. It boils down to.... Maturity, experience and getting practical applications prioritized. So, after this I will be looking for another Pediatrician... one that has established herself and doesn't feel threatened and is so full of the initials M.D and remembers...the most important initials that 50 yaars from now matters and is remembered for is...M.O.M read more

We have lived in TN for 3 1/2 years and we have changed pediatricians three times. The office staff is competent with phone calls, information and addressing needs. Very friendly. I've now seen every Dr. and the nurse practitioner in the office and they are all informative and aggressive in getting your child on the road to wellness. read more

We liked this place and our Peds Dr Renno until our two month visit. We were there for shots of our 2 month old and everything was going as expected. We knew our son would be getting 5 shots with 3 pokes and 1oral. After the oral shot the nurse came with 4 more shots (that was supposed to be 3 pokes). We repeatedly told her that it should be only 3 and not 4 but the nurse ignored us and gave our son FLU shot that was not supposed to be given to him. As this was his first visit I was video recording the whole shot process and we can be heard on the video asking her questions about the 4th shot but she ignores and pokes him with a 4th shot. They immediately figured out their mistake because the shot was for a different patient and they started making calls to CDC & the experts. We asked for the Medical records but the record is not detailed with notes, it just lists the shots and not their mistake. No one from the facility even called us after our visit to check how our son is doing after this huge error they committed. We liked our Doctor but this is a huge negligence and can happen to anyone who visits the care. read more

This was our first visit to Tennessee Pediatrics. We LOVED it and most importantly our Grandson loved it. We were have been going to see Dr's at Hendersonville Children's Clinic and after the last 3 hours wait with our Grandson we said we had to find a new Pediatric Dr. The first time we talked to Dr. Roach he was on call and advised us with such great service over the phone we knew we had to see him in the office. Made an appointment and once we arrived were called back within 5 min. of arriving. WOW! 5 min with a sick child that is important. We drove an hour and 5 min one way to see him and were blown away at the care we received at his office. Happy Grandparents here and a happy Grandson! He said Nanny...I like the Dr. and he fixed me. I am all better :) Makes a difference with great care. Taking the time to really get to know your patient rather than running them through like cattle. Every guardian has a choice where your children are seen. It will be worth your while to check them out. The staff was amazing as well. read more
