Dr Wolfe Sidberry is fast, efficient, and doesn't pull punches - good things in my book, but some may want a chit chattier manner. I prefer her style because she gets me well each time and doesn't ever waste my time. Outside of basic colds my daughter and I have used her for vaccinations, blood work, blood pressure management, removal of a tiny sty (that another doctors wanted to require general anesthetic for on my girl!), and successful treatment of a staph infection. After giving my name, I was directed to step on a scale and provide measurements--no introduction, no explanation, no basic courtesy. It felt more like processing inventory than welcoming a person. Then came the actual "care" session. The provider launched into a rapid-fire explanation of all the ways the clinic can bill you, delivered with the energy of a fast-talking sitcom character. She shared that she knew I had already been given all of those details though just wanted to recap again. Then, she told me why she thought I was there which was not accurate. I asked her to slow down and please take the time to have dialogue instead of talking at me. She never asked meaningful questions or or make a genuine attempt to understand why I was there, which made any real conversation about mental health impossible. Overall, the experience felt dismissive, disinterested, and transactional from start to finish. The caregiver, in particular, seemed better suited to a role with minimal human interaction - perhaps guarding an empty museum wing, because meaningful engagement was clearly not part of the approach. I am genuinely appalled and disturbed this clinic presents itself as having any aptitude in mental health care. None of them demonstrated an ounce of intellectual curiosity or communication skills which should be critical in caregiving roles.

I feel terrible writing a bad review but people should be warned to do their research prior, not…read moreafter getting a huge bill in the mail months later. I went in because I wasn't feeing good and hoped to get a medication to relieve terrible cold symptoms. They quickly tested for covid, strep and flu which were all negative. It was then suggested that those aren't thorough enough and they could take another swab and send to their lab which would be ready the next day. I asked about cost which the provider said she wasn't sure (big surprise) but wouldn't be much and insurance should cover it anyway. First of all it was close to 3 days before I got results and was already feeling better at that point. When I called to get an update after 48 hours I was told it could take up to 72 hours. So that was the first miscommunication. The second and worst is that the lab they sent to are 3rd party...not their lab as I was told. They have no ties to the billing and just hand you off to them to bill you whatever they see fit. They ran an insane amount of completely unnecessary tests that $1214.05. Insurance does not cover these tests because they found them to be medically unnecessary, which they were. I am assuming that instead of spending the time to decide exactly what tests should have been requested based on my specific case they chose to send a free for all and have them test for everything under the sun. I had request to have the break down of the bill sent to me (not easy) and then research what each test meant and understand the codes. I won't go into too much detail on my finding except to say that 90% of the tests should not have been done and some were billed/coded to be redundant resulting in excess charges. While I find the billing practices of the lab (Phase 2 Labs) unethical, I also hold Physicians Urgent Care responsible for lack of disclosure and overall careless in their testing practices. My advice is to take the time to ask more thorough questions when they offer to send any testing off to the labs. Mainly what exactly are the tests and why they are suggesting them. Maybe that will give them pause to think that maybe each test that their patients will be charged for should be applicable to the person.

The office is very clean and kid friendly, with two waiting rooms...the sick side and the well side...and though germs are floating around in both rooms, it's reassuring for most not to sit your kiddo next to the one with the running snot. If you have a more serious issue, you can most times still get a walk-in as they prioritize illnesses. I highly recommend you go for an interview and give them a shot...no pun intended???

We're very glad we took the recommendation! Located about 15-20 minutes from Nashville, this place isn't your average "urgent care". As soon as you walk in, you're met with a warm, homey kind of feel with a very friendly receptionist to help you get checked in. Instead of the typical plastic office chairs you'd see, they have comfortable lounge chairs and sofas to sit in while you wait. Everything was extremely clean and well put together. Even the patient rooms have a nice, homey touch with bathroom type sinks instead of the typical hospital sinks. Our nurse and doctor in call, Jordan, were both very friendly and helpful. We were able to get my fianceè blood work and a bunch of other tests I was surprised they could do on site. They are very upfront, honest and extremely helpful throughout. I'll definitely be going there next time I need to go to an urgent care (hopefully that's not anytime soon!)

I had to tell him that when I had appendicitis the cramping was far worse than this but this cramping pain is definitely not something I experience regularly. He brushed it off and said I should try the health department. He wrote me a prescription for antibiotics. I won't take them until I can get tested for the parasite.

He is very persistent and caring and he takes his time to explain to you what is the issue and what it actually means to your health. My Dad had a nasty cold last winter and one day Dr. Wei ran into my Dad out in public and took the time to ask him is he was better and if his cold had gone away completely. The man really cares about his patients. The rest of his staff are great too. Everyone is very friendly, helpful, and efficient. Note: One of the nurses told me that Sunday is probably their busiest day of the week and sometimes they have so many people that when the waiting room gets full, people have to line up outside in the hall to wait for their turn. I like to go on Saturday mornings because it is usually not that long of a wait to see Dr. Wei.

Dr. Kyrzynske's nurses are professional andcompassionate. I've never felt rushed as they gather information, review medications, or make notes for Dr. Kurzynske's review. But, it is Dr. Kurzynske who makes one feel like a real person with real value with real issues. He listens attentively, probes to ascertain issues, is not rebuffed by questions, and makes his patients feel like they've been heard and receiving the best medical attention and actions that a primary care physician could offer. He is knowledgeable and trusted to be current in that knowledge. He views patients as whole persons, physically, mentally, and emotionally. He sees the patient in context of their circumstances (i.e., impacted by needs resulting from work and family situations). His compassion is real and comforting.
