After a time, he stopped asking me questions and made notes. I kept talking but based on his demeanor, he seemed to have already decided what my issue was. He sent me on my way and said someone will get back to me in a week. No blood work. No tests of any kind. I asked if he wanted me to have any tests done or blood work drawn and he said no. A week later, I got a call from his office. She told me Dr. Reisman wanted me to take a particular supplement, and I could purchase it at their office or buy on my own. I asked what it was for. She said "mood." I then kept searching for answers and met with a group Functional Medicine practice. They had me do dozens of tests and labs. Turns out, they said I had Lyme disease, multiple gut infections and more. But Dr. Reisman thought it was all in my head. I am so glad I sought medical advice from another practice--they immediately thought to look at specific test markers based on my symptoms. I look back and I am stunned that during our conversation, in his arrogance or what, Dr. Reisman thought I was depressed or moody and to take one supplement and check back. Unbelievable. I was under the assumption the testing was included because no one explained there would be an extra fee, nor did they tell me what the fee would be. A few weeks later I received a bill for $1,493.00 for blood work, that my research showed would have been done by another lab for $349.00. I reached out to their office multiple times to discuss my shock and dismay at not being told of the cost or given the option to refuse the treatment. I sent emails as well. Throughout the process he never responded to me personally choosing to have his office manager buffer him. He also never acknowledged or accepted any responsibility for the financial hardship I was potentially facing. I ended up having to handle the cost on my own. The worst part of this is not the $1,493.00 fee for blood work. The worst part is that a man who I thought was of high consciousness and who promotes himself as someone to be trusted is actually someone who would carelessly and callously refuse to accept any responsibility for a breakdown in his system, would refuse to speak with me, or email me personally or to show any compassion for the situation he put me in. He may be highly competent but his actions demonstrated to me that he lacks empathy and is more about profits than people. Which is the same model that is destroying the medical care system which he proposes to be the alternative to. So beware.

    I woke up late this morning and still had 30 minutes to drive to the airport, those not even…read moreaccounting the time to return the rental car. The wonderful associate at Advantage EZ rental informed me that there was a service she can call to help me with my luggage and drop me off across the terminal. When "Z" came, he greeted me with a warm welcome that was able to bring my anxiety down from the morning I just had. I was a little worried about how am i going to manage walking all the way to the terminal with 2 large luggage, a carry on, and a extra small one on top of that. Z went above and beyond! He not only took me to the drop off point, the then grabbed a cart loading it up with my luggage, walking me in to the ticket counter to make sure I was able to get a flight, then accompanied to the TSA line!!! He was so accommodating that i never had to carry one of them that whole time. The light conversation and excellent customer service...I couldn't thank him more. I DEFINITELY recommend using their services and asking for Z. There no set price for services, they do accept tips. Z recieved the highest tip I have ever given because he not only did he help with my belongings, but provided some positive energy when needed from the morning I had. He called and they gave him a number of a company in Florida. They would not give him a replacement or a loaner even this it was still under warranty. They instructed him to do as the repair company advised him. He had to send the machine to the company at his own expense, again no new machine or loaner. He would call and check and after 10 weeks, I called and spoke with Beth at the sleep center . Beth informed that the company had gone out of business. I asked what about his machine and she said not our problem we aren't responsible. After calling several times her response being the same she angrily said I will call you back tomorrow, we are in clinic and I am busy. After my brother called his insurance company they told him he would have to come in to the office. I talked with the Ins company also and told him they are just wanting money and a new sleep study. Since my brother has been without his C-pap he's had 23 wrecks , not allowed to drive or go back to work since October. The sleep center didn't care & it was 40 miles away. Cigna told me sleep study's are good for 10 yrs. So finally I took him to a sleep Dr here in town and we sent a release for his records to be sent to her and she can order him a machine. Been a week and still has not been sent . I have to say working in the medical field for years this is ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever dealt with. I will not ever deal with this company. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

    I recently had to undergo an HSG test following a season of loss. Due to many imaging centers in…read moreNashville no longer offering this procedure, I scheduled with Vanderbilt Imaging. While the staff were friendly and professional--which I do appreciate--the overall process was frustrating and unnecessarily burdensome. Vanderbilt Imaging requires a pregnancy test be completed before the appointment, but does not offer it on-site. This means patients must coordinate a completely separate appointment through their doctor beforehand. In my case, this turned what should have been a straightforward visit into a half-day ordeal. I've had this same test done at another center in Nashville where the pregnancy test was handled in-house. It made the process smoother and far less emotionally taxing. An HSG is already an intrusive and sensitive procedure. Patients deserve a streamlined, one-stop experience--especially in the context of fertility testing and loss. I strongly urge Vanderbilt Imaging to reconsider their policy and begin offering the pregnancy test on-site to better support the people they serve.

I…read moreended up back here because I'm in the Vanderbilt system of doctors and they ordered testing at this location. The girl who helped me check in (I'm sorry I couldn't remember her name) was very helpful. I was scheduled for two tests that were hours apart on the same day. They, without me asking, arranged for me to have both things done while I was there instead of having to come back for the second test hours later. I waited a little bit but that was way better than having to come back. The ultrasound technician seemed thorough, the MRI team and the technician were all very nice. I had a good experience and wanted to correct my previous review. Whatever changes they've made are working.
