I feel terrible writing a bad review but people should be warned to do their research prior, not after getting a huge bill in the mail months later. I went in because I wasn't feeing good and hoped to get a medication to relieve terrible cold symptoms. They quickly tested for covid, strep and flu which were all negative. It was then suggested that those aren't thorough enough and they could take another swab and send to their lab which would be ready the next day. I asked about cost which the provider said she wasn't sure (big surprise) but wouldn't be much and insurance should cover it anyway. First of all it was close to 3 days before I got results and was already feeling better at that point. When I called to get an update after 48 hours I was told it could take up to 72 hours. So that was the first miscommunication. The second and worst is that the lab they sent to are 3rd party...not their lab as I was told. They have no ties to the billing and just hand you off to them to bill you whatever they see fit. They ran an insane amount of completely unnecessary tests that $1214.05. Insurance does not cover these tests because they found them to be medically unnecessary, which they were. I am assuming that instead of spending the time to decide exactly what tests should have been requested based on my specific case they chose to send a free for all and have them test for everything under the sun. I had request to have the break down of the bill sent to me (not easy) and then research what each test meant and understand the codes. I won't go into too much detail on my finding except to say that 90% of the tests should not have been done and some were billed/coded to be redundant resulting in excess charges. While I find the billing practices of the lab (Phase 2 Labs) unethical, I also hold Physicians Urgent Care responsible for lack of disclosure and overall careless in their testing practices. My advice is to take the time to ask more thorough questions when they offer to send any testing off to the labs. Mainly what exactly are the tests and why they are suggesting them. Maybe that will give them pause to think that maybe each test that their patients will be charged for should be applicable to the person. read more

I scheduled what I believed to be a routine physical exam, which should have been fully covered by my insurance. Instead, the doctor's office coded the visit as "establishing care," resulting in my insurance only covering half of the cost. At no point did anyone in the office explain that this change in coding would lead to additional charges. When I checked in, the receptionist even took my credit card information and assured me it would not be charged since the visit should be covered. Later, I received a surprise bill anyway. When I called their billing support team for clarification, they offered no help and made no effort to resolve the issue. This lack of transparency and accountability -- from the front desk to billing -- left me feeling misled and frustrated. Patients deserve clear communication about costs and honest assistance when problems arise, but this office failed on both fronts. read more

Great urgent care for children! My son has been here 2 times when other urgent cares told me they would not treat him due to age and needed treatment (he hurt his body, not sickness related). My 18 year old son went to this location with major sinus congestion, spitting up green/brown mucus, and sore throat. Provider did a flu test and covid test, and called him in a steroid. Never asked him about his sinus symptoms. I went back to ask if they could call in an antibiotic for him and was told that he would have to be seen again by another provider and that I would have to be charged again for that appointment with seemingly no concern for getting the issue resolved. I feel like my son was taken advantage of due to his youth. They took the two tests that don't really mean much (viral), ignored the strep test, and didn't ask about bacterial indicators. read more

Y'all, this is the best Urgent Care. Every medical professional I have seen here has been awesome. I do have a general practitioner here but sometimes Urgent Care is faster, so I head here for basic stuff. Honestly, I have been so impressed by the level of care. They seem like they listen to me, want to help me, and care about my well being. Some clinics I've been to seem like they couldn't care less. Also the wait times are generally reasonable which I appreciate. Thanks for being there for the local community. I would give zero stars if I could. I went in for stomach pain mainly on right side. I asked the physician assistant/Alex Terry if I could get an ultrasound since stomach pain on right can be associated with gallbladder, liver, kidney, pancreatic, just to name a few. He said "no" that he would perscribe a CT Scan, which is equilvent to 1,000 chest xrays and costs $3,000 versus $200 for an ultrasould. This is why my family and I will AVOID Physician Assistants and Nurse Practioners at all costs, go see an MD if you care about your health! read more

I just left here and wish I could give more than 5 stars. My physician Austin was incredible. This was the best interaction I've had with an urgent care, possibly ever. He listened to me, took his time...I never felt rushed. He explained the issues and how to treat them fully and with care. His bedside manner was impeccable. Most of the time, I leave doctors feeling like I'm just a number and that they could care less. But not here. They treated me so respectfully and with care and concern. Took my sweet toddler in who wasn't feeling so hot the past few days. It was a Sunday so I wasn't sure if anyone would be able to see him. Thankfully we were able to put him on the waiting list ahead of time. We had very little wait time which was great. The girl at the front dest was very kind and friendly. She went over and above when it came to billing. We have a Heath share which most places are out of network with but she went ahead and printed all the necessary documents for me to be able to submit it. I didn't even have to ask! She just did it for me. The waiting room was extremely clean and tidy. They had complementary little ice packs which I'm sure the kids love. The nurse who took us back was nice as well! She really worked with me to get my sons vitals which was a challenge due to his age and not feeling great. We had a very short wait from her bringing us to our room and when the Doctor(? Maybe PA? --I was pretty tired and do not remember) came in. He was super friendly and was very sweet with my son. I liked how he was very practical and informative on what our options were. I never felt pressured into anything we weren't comfortable with. Not that I hope we will be back but I'm glad I know where to go if we ever needed to visit an urgent care. read more

This place was a wonderful experience from being greeted at the front desk to the nursing student to the doctor that saw me. Think I have found my new go-to urgent care for those issues that can't wait for my primary care doctor to be able to schedule me in. Hello, Thank you for your hilarious response. As I have said from my first phone call prior to my arrival at your facility, I had a sinus infection. I suffer from chronic sinus infections. Therefore, I would require an antibiotic of some kind and and they said no problem. Come on in! So I went in, met with the nurse because apparently there are no physicians on staff as advertised, just owned by them, apparently. They collect my copay, don't check my sinus infection which I reiterated three times and requested an X-ray of my face. Again, no response. I was diagnosed with Covid, yes. BUT WAS NEVER TREATED OR CHECKED FOR MY SINUS INFECTION that was in between my eyes, eyebrows, nose, cheeks and teeth! Apparently, according to your staff, you can only have one diagnosis. Yes, after my third phone call with no response, I wrote an email and suggested that Hydrocloriquine worked for me back in 2019/2020 when I had Covid, bronchitis and a sinus infection for six months after being on other antibiotics that entire time which didn't work. You people assume I disregarded that I had Covid and missed the entire point because you dictate the care and don't listen to your educated patients. I for one do follow the science! The real science and not what the fake, lying CDC department puts out and pays you to do. That is why I called you a bureaucratic establishment. If you had listened, responded and even offered me another antibiotic because I realize most medical practices are scared of the tyrannical government pushing mandates, not laws and controlling doctors, hospitals and organizations like yours to not honor their oaths they swore to when they finished medical school. Instead, they became power hungry and fearful rather than having integrity and honor in doing the right thing. I tried to settle this privately and politely, but you wouldn't respond or acknowledge the real issue. Then you send me a nasty letter lying about the facts to cover your behind via FED EX telling me I can no longer go to your facility, as if I would. Because I challenged and questioned your ethics? That's our right and our responsibility! However, I thank you for the great laugh... it felt wonderful. As if I'd ever trust you with my health! I merely thought people should know the truth since you didn't call me or talk to me and weren't even there! There are nurses on duty only. If you have some minor issue and need a nurse, go ahead and go to this place. If you expect real healthcare and people that actually listen their informed patients and have acquired a lifetime of experience and knowledge in this area, go to Vanderbilt. They treated me immediately with integrity, professionalism and actually have doctors on staff! Guess what else? My copay is the same! Shouldn't it be less when you don't see a doctor and you don't get treated for what you came in for and get no call backs or respect? I gave you respect when I went there, you lost it after I attempted to contact you four times and finally got a disappointing ignorant response. Now it's three of those. I was a walk in, and had about 4 people in front of me, but the staff was quick to check me in and did not have to wait too long to see a doctor. Physicians Urgent Care took great care of me today. I went in to get a shot or meds for a sinus infection and I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Everyone was very professional and engaging. I had a great experience and I would highly recommend this place to my family and friends. read more

Great staff and wait time. The iPad had a 133-148 minute wait when I checked in but I was in and out the door in under 45 minutes.

I have taken my children here several times. It has been a fast and very thorough examination every single time. The staff is amazing.

I got the flu and needed to find a clinic fast. Everyone from the receptionist to the nurse and doctors were very helpful and friendly.

Very clean office and very kind and efficient front desk staff. Disappointed that they now use physicians assistants, not all MD's like they had in the past. The PA seemed a little irritated when I asked him questions and was very anti-tamiflu. read more
