He has a way to answer stupid questions without making you feel dumb. He doesn't over prescribe or do more than is needed. We really like his theologies in parenting and the "do's and don'ts". He's been super helpful. The office staff are a bit scatter brained at times. They don't always know what's going on or have to get help for what should be simple things. Not all of them. But a few need some coaching. The wait is LONG though. I don't know if they overbook or what, but we've waited well over an hour every time we've gone. Not just waiting room either, like once we get to the room itself, over an hour. I'd rather schedule a later appointment and not wait. Other than the wait, seriously, Dr. Dodd is the best.

I was tested before coming in and found that I have extreme candida overgrowth. So I assumed the infection I had was a yeast infection(I had every single symptom of a yeast infection). The doctor said it was instead BV and prescribed me antibiotics. I had had the infection for a full week before coming in. I'm now a full 2 weeks in and still desperate for relief. I took the antibiotics for 5 days twice a day (morning and night) and it made my infection WORSE. So I called to see if I would be okay to get off of the antibiotics early to see if my symptoms cleared up. Today is the next day--they aren't completely gone but much better. Then I started to bleed. Rectal and vaginally (I had my period 2 weeks ago and I am very regular so it's not that) but mostly rectal. I have had cramping in my uterus area for 24 hours. I take OPKs to test for ovulation and my LH has not yet peaked as it should have days ago. The antibiotic they put me on severely messed with my body. If I continue to bleed into tomorrow I'm looking at an emergency room visit. When I was there I felt like the nurse wanted to be doing anything else and the doctor was aloof. Don't waste your time and money coming here.

He has a great personality and is great with his patients! His nurses are AMAZING also! Each one of them is friendly and through also. They take their time to educate. Last but not least, the front desk staff is equally as AMAZING! When you call, they answer the phone and do their absolute best to answer questions and get you scheduled. Everyone at the office makes you feel like a family!
