It's a small neighborhood drug store. It doesn't have 50 different shampoos, conditioners, toothpaste and Oh my! No groceries! What they do have, are caring and friendly staff members who go so far above the chain I was using, I want to hug them all when I go in! My first time I was there, I just went to check the place out. They invite you to do that. When I came in with about five prescriptions, and told them I wanted to transfer all of my scripts to their place, the prescriptions were finished before I finished with the paperwork. She took the picture, put her SD card in their machine, selected some things on the screen, and rang me up very quickly- which I appreciate because I've worked in a busy retail environment in the past. Someone else helped me and was much more attentive. He took a new photo for me and then put the SD card in the machine- just like last time- HOWEVER this time he told me that I needed to select agree and verify on certain screens. He told me he could not touch the screen and it was a legal issue. My point and reason for this review is that the woman that was so rushed and so careless with the photo that I had to come back and do it again ALSO broke the law. Returns has usually been reasonable for time unless it's around a holiday. However this was first Walmart I've ever been to with more self checkouts than registers. The expectation is you will use self check out. In the 3 years I've gone to this location I've never seen a register open. The lines are outrageously long! I'm talking it's common to have more than 20 people in front of you in line. After scanning all your own items and bagging them you then get to walk barely 5 feet away to leave and have an employee want to check your receipt like you're a thief ‍ no employees around to help in store scan and bag your items you're paying for have an employee go through all your things and check your receipt right next to self check I do my best to never come here if I can help it because if I'm giving a business my money and buying their products it would be nice not to do the work for the company too. There should be real people at registers - that in turn gives jobs to people in the community so they can support their families. 1 person to 20 self check out registers is not okay.
