This is more about Walgreens general/corporate than a particular store. For 4 years, I've had insulin for insulin pumps refilled at Walgreens. This is covered by Medicare Part B (not part D). Now it seems corporate has replaced their staff with incompetent idiots that file for part D coverage despite being told specifically not to do that. So the refill is constantly delayed (by a month so far) as part D insurance declines it. Walgreens has become a joke and is no longer a preferred pharmacy. (Look up their ridiculous reason for only doing 28 day fills of Ozempic too.) read more

There's always some sort of delay with my medications that I can't be without. I will go through withdrawal if I don't have them as scheduled. It happens so often, with no sort of communication as to what is happening. I am extremely irritated today, because I am out of my medication and it said that it had been in progress for days. I call, wait about 15 mins on hold, get in contact with a woman who tells me they will be here tomorrow, they don't have it. I told her I can't wait until tomorrow as I am already out. I will go through withdrawal without it for two whole days. I asked if there was a way to expedite. She looks at some things, and now it's magically there and they have it? It would be nice if they were to answer their phone maybe even listen to their messages and get the story right the first time. This is not the first time I've had problems with this pharmacy. These people don't give a crap / care for there customers. My doctor sent my script. at 0930 hours in which I received a text message. I arrived at 1130 hours and was told they had to update my insurance card before they could fill my prescription and it would be ready in 20 minutes. I came back at 1400 hours to pick it up but was told it wasn't ready again and would I like to wait another 20 minutes in which I stated I will come back. I was then instructed to wait for there text message before I come back. Well it's 1440 hours now which exceeds the 20 minute time line and have not received any text. I'm telling you all think twice before using this pharmacy. read more

I have to say Walgreens isn't my favorite stop, but sometimes you need something and it's all that's nearby. Today we needed to pick up a few things and we're surprised at how fast we were in and out. Typically service is sub par at the least, but today I didn't leave frustrated and disappointed. Happiest Saturday Yelpers! PLEASE AVOID THIS WALGREENS AT ALL COSTS. THE STAFF IS NOT NICE. I have big banks, small banks, credit Unions and app cards such as chime and self. I've been depositing money into my chime card for over a year at many Greater Phoenix area Walgreens. I have never been asked for my ID, address and personal information when loading $500 to my cards (500 is the limit). The cashier put my hundred dollar blue strip bills up up to the light marked them with a marker and said "oh wow these are brand new bills"... called her manager over to check the money again. Never in my life have I ever felt so degraded and looked down upon. ...complexion of my skin and my tattoos ... Am I not allowed to have brand new bills?! This transaction took over 10 mins, normally would only take 2 mins max. I felt like a crook and just got caught stealing or something the way the cashier and manager treated me. The manager has slick remarks the whole transaction, I started recording on my camera because that's not respectable and I will not tolerate such behavior. My daughter's doctor called in a prescription on Thursday. Walgreens said it would be ready Friday. On Friday they said it would be ready on Saturday. On Saturday they said Monday. On Monday they said they should have told me on the previous Thursday that they would be unable to get the medicine in. Awesome. I went 4 days waiting to be told that they knew true whole time. I am so pissed off right now I can barely type. This was after I decided to give them another chance after they called me literally one hour before my vaccination appointment a month ago to tell me they didn't have the vaccines I needed. What they hell? I used to really like this pharmacy but in the last few months they have really slipped on the service. Last time I came in because they said a medicine was ready it wasn't actually ready and I had to wait another 20 minutes while they finished mixing it. Quick in and out drug store. This one is on the exit prior to were I normally exit. The attendants always welcome you and greet you. It was my go to drug store for 8 years. I had several bad experiences with the pharmacy side but thankfully I always had great customer service from the entire staff outside the pharmacy. I remember every time I've needed a Manager for something major or very minor , they have always gone out of their way to help me. I do Instacart Orders, and whenever I get orders for this Store location my App does not Work, or greatly lags. Install WI-FI already, it's 2023. The drive thru isn't meant to be used like a fast food restaurant. I think that's the mindset these 1 star reviews need to get a reality check on. Elderly and disabled should use drive thru pharmacy for their convenience. I just called to check up on a pending prescription that is now 2 weeks delayed and was basically told to go somewhere else and hung up on. I picked up my prescription from this Walgreens in buckeye on Watson I always have an issue when coming here. They can't find my prescription ect. Today was the last straw I got home opened my bag and the bottle looked a little short. It's says 90 pills well I counted only 40 pills. I called Walgreens they had to view the cameras before giving me the balance of my 50 pills. Like if I was lying I paid for 90 and only got 40 I understand there are shady people but my pills are not pain medicine it's just for my periods. I will never use Walgreens again. read more

I went into Walgreens yesterday in a rush on the way to a funeral. Emotions were high for me and time was limited. I was helped by a young man named, Oscar. He was super patient and understanding. He listened to what I wanted and gave me a couple options to choose from. He made everything super simple and took a lot of weight off my shoulders. I felt like his level of customer service and ability to help make everything easier for me is well worth the time to make a positive review. Every time I've used the pharmacy drive thru I sit there for at least 20 or more minutes to finally get to the window even with 1 maybe 2 cars in front of me, then sit there for another 5-10 minutes before getting acknowledged. It has more options than the competitors and anyone in any location of the store will check you out, which makes it faster.
