It's the Walgreens closes to my parents house. It's always convenient. They have what you need from a drugstore. They also have a pharmacy. I believe my sister has used it before, I have not, but never heard any complaints. We ran in to get a couple of new toothbrushes for the kids. They had cute ones. I always stop by when I need a drink for a long car ride out of town. Since my parents live on the outskirts of town. I had to get a passport photo. This place is close by my home so it was convenient for me. The lady that took my photo was in a huge hurry. She took the picture, put her SD card in their machine, selected some things on the screen, and rang me up very quickly- which I appreciate because I've worked in a busy retail environment in the past. When I got home and was attaching the photo to my application, I noticed that the sizing was wrong. I could not use the picture. So I went back the next day. Someone else helped me and was much more attentive. He took a new photo for me and then put the SD card in the machine- just like last time- HOWEVER this time he told me that I needed to select agree and verify on certain screens. He told me he could not touch the screen and it was a legal issue. My point and reason for this review is that the woman that was so rushed and so careless with the photo that I had to come back and do it again ALSO broke the law. She quickly answered all Of the questions meant for me on the screen and I didn't even know it. I wouldn't trust them again with a passport photo. read more

I love the staff here. They are very nice and courteous. My only issue is their pharmacy. I have no idea what is going on but I have contacted my provider multiple times and they said they have sent the request TWICE!!! But this Walgreens just never gets it. I give up. I had wasted too much time going back and forth and am running out of my prescription so I will be getting my refill elsewhere. Multi Billion Dollar Co Can't seem to fill a prescription. Usually takes ten minutes or more per person. They ask to verify your phone number twice and they insist you provide your home address audibly for additional verification in front of customers which leaves me speechless. Anyone could follow you home. Aside from that, spent an hour on hold by phone so more time wouldn't be wasted driving back and forth only to find out the automated system is not accurate and phone lines are not being answered. Employees are over worked and the store manager is nowhere to be found. I detest this place and always avoid buying anything else. The general reputation they have on line mirrors my thoughts about poor business practice and inefficiency of the stores. Time to consider a few customer issues and maybe look for a new CEO. Maybe store manager presence? The parking lot and walkway to the entrance is unkept as well. The prices have easily tripled. read more

Have been using this pharmacy since we moved her over six years ago just gets progressively worse ! Never hav ether script in stock even if it's one you've been getting there for six years ! You think someone would realize regularly Filled prescription but know that would be too much to ask apparently. They tell you they will order the medication but when the medication comes in they never fill the order you have to constantly call to see if your medication came in and if they filled it yet. And now they have gone to giving the medication to someone else instead of you I have literally tried for a week to get a medication that they said that they ordered first the medication was back ordered then the medication wasn't enough in stock in store when he did come in then they gave it to somebody else Then it was on back order again! Finally got someone to fill the prescription after five days of trying go to pick it up and priority is people getting Covid shots why bother having two separate lines if you're not going to help the prescription line and only help the Covid line. The tech is too busy taking temperatures and asking questions so that people can get their shot and the poor pharmacist hast to give it a shot with only the two of them in the store it does not make sense why not hire a separate person to give the shots and let them do their job. They will also make you call the helpline if there is an issue with a coupon or a discount card. The pharmacist and tech are running around like chickens with their heads cut offBecause of Covid they say they don't have time to put the order away maybe they should hire some help or specialty help isn't that what the government gave money for. This is a very busy store getting busier by the day as there is no convenience store close or grocery people use it for everything there is always a line maybe Walgreens should take that into consideration when staffing. read more

The pharmacy is a P. O. S!!! There is no line distinction, at the pharmacy, for which line is for pickup and which is for shots. Waited 20 minutes only to find out we were not in the shot line. Then we had to wait even more. Our appointments were for 2:30 and 2:45. Currently it is now 2:55 and we are still in line. This store/pharmacy is an absolute disgrace. Zero organization and no one seems to care. I thought Fry's pharmacy was a piece of unorganized crap but this Walgreens is worse. My advice, go to CVS or Walmart! read more

Oh my, their pharmacy is the worst. Every month there 's always an issue with my prescription refill- either my insurance is not updated and need to bring my card or need an approval from my doctor. When I called my doctor they said that they sent a year worth of prescription refill and my insurance did not change at all.. so what's happening--my question to them every month--so sad. read more

What a joke this Walgreens is. I understand this is the only store in a few square miles so it does get busier than normal but Jesus Christ! Their system is notoriously slow ALWAYS. I have routinely waited for prescriptions to be refilled because they didn't do it right away, the "online system" doesn't work, they were backlogged or simply were out of stock and didn't notify me until it was too late to get new meds for my son who ran out. Waited in the pharmacy drive thru for 30 minutes for my scheduled covid test with only 3 cars in front of me and when I get up there the employee tells me they can't do the test cause they close in 9 minutes for their lunch. Don't take 20 minutes on 1 car and don't schedule covid tests so close to your lunch breaks if you won't do them for people. I would like to report racist and prejudicial behavior from one of the male pharmacists in buckeye Arizona. First he did not want to fill my order, second blatantly lied and said people like me don't have insurance, and the insurance I supplied was false and expired, and blatantly mistakes my name and user information he was looking at. To make matters worse I called my insurance in front mid him and he still continued to assume I was lying. This is a lawsuit. He assumed simply because I look Hispanic and treated me with such disdain that irrevocably tarnishes all customer service practices. Absolutely the worst pharmacy I have ever used. The people working here are rude and act as if you are troubling them. They never have any stock. If your prescription is on automatic refill it is never refilled or they just lie to you and say "the truck never came in". This Walgreens ALWAYS has the slowest cashiers working. The line is always a 15-20 min wait about 50% of the time you buy something. The cashiers sit and chat and always want to inquire about what your purchasing even when the lines are extremely long they spend more time asking 10 questions about promotions, etc.... then actually cashing the customer out. I just bought a gum and I was in and out of the store in 20 min. (I had 2 people in front of me in line and their was 2 cashiers working ) 20 min is extremely long to purchase some thing as small and basic as GUM! It's the closest grocery/store/pharmacy to my house so I am very limited when I am in a pinch.. and even then I rather be late then to go into the store to purchase anything. Horrible service! The pharmacist who was supposed to do a prescription transfer for me, kept calling the wrong number for my pharmacy, it was clearly printed on the prescription bottle. 3 days later (they never called to tell me my script was filled) the script my home town pharmacy charges $65 for, Walgreens wanted $480! Another prescription I couldn't go without, they charges me double what my hometown pharmacy charges( $135 rather than $65). They said they never called to tell me my prescription was filled because they didn't have my number, are you kidding me?! It's in their computer, and wrote down on the prescription transfer slip. I have done business with Walgreens for many years and never had any problems, until I moved close to this Walgreens. Never before have I had so many delays in getting my meds. Even when you get one of their automated calls saying your meds are ready, half the time when you get there they are not ready or there's some kind of "complication". The line at the drive-thru moves at a snails pace, so I know it's not just me this is happening to. There is another Walgreens across town and I have resigned myself to just driving over there, where I don't seem to have these problems. I'll take the inconvenience of driving right past the one by my home to go to the one where I get good service. read more

I've been coming here for years and for the most part I'm happy with the store and the pharmacy. I've gotten some great deals in their clearance department. The ladies in Cosmetics are very helpful and friendly. There is one elderly gentleman who constantly persists trying to upsell candy to you that gets a little annoying. For awhile they would have a salesperson from Arizona republic stand right in front of the entrance pushing for you to enter a raffle and whatnot, that got pretty tiring but the last year or so I haven't seen them back so maybe enough people complained. Beware if you getting any controlled substances here. May wife had surgery and after her procedure I quickly went to get her pain meds and antibiotics filled. After returning home with, I realized they didn't give me her pain meds. I immediately went back with the sealed bag and receipt to notify them of their error. The pharmacy tech argued that she gave them to me even though they were not on my receipt. I demanded to talk to the store manager. They said they showed that someone picked them up via the drive through. I then demanded to see the receipt of the purchase to compare the card used and I also wanted to view the cc video of who stole my wife's meds. They refused to show the "other" receipt since it may have personal information on it and the said the surveillance videos angle does not show cars but rather just the cashier. They did admit they saw the pharmacy-tech scan the medication in the video and hand it to someone in the drive through. We had to contact buckeye PD to report an ID theft due to the situation. Only after the Buckeye PD showed up to investigate did they refill the meds. read more

Misleading signage, often absent pharmacist. Single cashier welcomes every customer, answers phone, and makes pa announcements while ten or more customers wait in line.
