I had to split the transaction and pay with two different debit cards after customer service trying to cash me out and applying two more loans on my affirm account. $90 was taken out of my regular bank when one of the 3 approved loans went through. However Walmart doesn't do in store Walmart Affirm purchases anymore which I didn't know and neither did the three other employees that tried to help me knew. So now I have 3 pending loans, $90 out of my bank on top of $350 out of another account and $99 out of another account. I have disputed with my bank, affirm, and Walmart. No one has resolved my issue. I'm pretty sure it's not legal for an employee to apply for loans on your phone. And higher up management should be communicating with staff that in store affirm is no longer a thing since Jan apparently. Very upset with the experience, very disappointed that I had pay out of pocket for three loans I was approved for which ended up being well over $1000 in loans. After going out of my way to get to the pharmacy, the staff seemed completely unaware of my prescription, even though all of the information should have already been documented in their system. The first employee who assisted me was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. (She should not be working in customer service, clearly it's not the right profession for her.) I was then told that my prescription wasn't actually ready and would need to be prepared. However, instead of helping me, the pharmacy staff informed me they were closing for lunch and that I would have to come back later. I explained that I had received two notifications telling me my prescription was ready for pickup, but my concerns were ignored. It was clear that their priority was closing for lunch rather than assisting a customer who had arrived based on information sent directly by CVS. Being told to return after their lunch break--after I had already made a trip specifically because I was notified my prescription was ready--was incredibly frustrating and unacceptable. This experience demonstrated a lack of communication, poor customer service, and little regard for customers' time. Prescription medications are often time-sensitive, and patients should be able to rely on the notifications they receive. I expect much better professionalism, courtesy, and accountability from a pharmacy entrusted with people's healthcare.

Besides making routine prescriptions easy to manage and obtain, we also got our Flu and Shingrix vaccines there. When getting the first Covid 19 shot, they were the first to successfully direct us to a source, when all you could get during the initial rollout anywhere were busy signals or "no appointments left". They have been excellent in dealing with insurance companies and the complexities of dealing with the Oncology Dept of a major NYC hospital. We haven't thrown them a curveball yet they couldn't hit. Their prices are competitive but you won't get the same level of service at any price. It also has a wonderful gift shop that always has interesting gifts. Supporting KFP also supports a local business (not funding the acquisition of a major insurance company) and nourishes our community. I encourage everyone to fill their drug store needs mindfully and consider the gem that is KFP.
