He took the time to show me the images he took of my eyeballs, walk through what the problem was (wearing contact lenses for too long), and put me at ease from beginning to end. The wait time wasn't bad at all. I was seen very close to my appointment time and was out of there in under half an hour. Not to mention there were quite a few parking spots right in front of the office. The office is very clean and modern-looking. All in all, this was a much more pleasant experience than the eye office I usually go to (Boston Eye in Brookline, where you can wait close to up an hour to see a doctor and there's no validation for parking).

Super high quality, durable, and fashionable. If you want to save a few bucks and buy the garbage you see online, go for it. But don't nitpick a long winded review and say this establishment is trying to dig deep in your pockets. That's just petty and undeserving.

When she was concerned about my glaucoma risk, she sent me to an ophthalmologist and showed real concern. During a recent contacts fitting for my changing vision, Dr. Cohen went through multiple options and then sent me home with a trial regimen of two different approaches, to see which I preferred. Then when I wasn't thrilled with either (and might have to accept I am nearing a glasses only point), she let me come by for a third approach. Dr. Cohen's staff also is friendly and helpful. There is a wonderful all-female vibe in the office. They also have a great selection of frames (although most are expensive, even at Target frames can be expensive). Understanding the insurance benefits allows the office to provide services that presumably many people decline because they don't have sufficient coverage. What made me upset was that for almost $600 I was given the floor sample frames with new lenses. They were flimsy pieces of junk and within a week BOTH earpieces had snapped off. Gee, I wonder why, maybe because HUNDREDS of people had been trying them on until someone with Masshealth came in and you knew you could shove them off on them. I saved my script and ordered online at zeelool and I'll never look back. I was able to get three pairs of strong, sturdy, fashionable frames for less than $100. Much better than the highway robbery that occurred at this doctor's office. Shame on you for taking advantage of a disabled person.
