But for this visit, I only cared whether they had one particular set of sunglasses in stock. I managed to scratch a pair of 6 week old Oakley's that I had bought at another location. I was on vacation in Newport and had no receipt, but I was curious to see whether they would exchange them. And they did. They traded my damaged pair for a brand new pair with no fuss. They grabbed a new pair from the shelf, took my contact info, and I was on my way. The whole process lasted about 15 minutes, but I didn't mind seeing as how the woman helping me was smoking hot. The wait probably wouldn't have been as long under normal circumstances but the place was jam-packed with 4th of July tourists.

After she graciously cleaned my lenses, she dexterously handed them to me. They were not even sunglasses, but the Sunglass Hut did not discriminate. Unfortunately, I lost the pair and we contacted the sales associate Jen who went above and beyond looking through company records to find exactly what model I had purchased. I had not purchased the sunglasses at an outlet store and I informed her of this, but she did not believe me and argued with me for several minutes. It took an additional half an hour to complete the return while she texted on her phone. She was cold and terse and offered no apology for denying my return, arguing with me, and taking an eternity to complete the transaction. She also informed me she would be firing the salesman who sold me the sunglasses, which I found shockingly unprofessional. It was possibly the worst costumer service experience of my life. Then, when I went to email Sunglass Hut to inform them of my bad experience, the website would not allow the email to be sent. Great company.
