Terrible !! This Walmart used to be open 24 hours then they changed the closing time to 12am, which was fine ! If you go around 9 or 10 there are boxes and pallets everywhere . They are placed all along the middle of the main aisle and makes it really difficult to get around the store. Maybe they should hire overnight workers to get the job done and not inconvenience their customers ! read more

The very worst Walmart I've ever shopped at. I live 5 min away from it. So I find myself in there even after I swear I'll never go again. They restock shelves with returned merchandise. I've gone home many times with something I bought at that store only to find out it's used and not working. I've even received open food not knowing till I got home to eat or drink it. I've returned a power wheels charging cord because it was used and not working. I went back to the store the following day and saw the same cord back on the shelf. And let's not get into having 20 or more registers but only 4 open even though store is packed with patrons. Store manager is no help either. Ovoid at all cost! read more

I have to recommend 2 of your ladies in the photo dept. I met Yvonne during the week and she explained how I was going to make photos from my new digital camera. I was a bit nervous as this was all new to me. I wasn't going to be able to use your service until Sat. after I took the pictures. Nelly came to help me and she was wonderful. Great store. Well maintained, friendly associates, Managers are conversational, customers are usually decent grade and merchandise is 70% stocked well. Maybe this is because I'm comparing it to the Wal-Mart on Silver Spring Street though! read more

When it comes to being there at the jewelry counter of the electronics it is so difficult to get help that I have walked away more than once and going to other stores to buy things. I have found that being in the sportings department is also a long wait to find someone to help you to either have a key made or simply to get a fishing license. I have switched to going to other stores due to the fact that I feel that Walmart doesn't care about my business!! The only reason I gave any stars is that I'm allowed to be able to save money on their app as well as when I need to get my groceries and other things at the same time it is quite convenient read more

I live nearby so unfortunately I am here often, but ill be going to out of my way not to shop at this Walmart anymore. Not once have I ever Interacted with an employee at this store and been treated kindly. It is so bad I have even submitted complaints to Walmart about the way employees and their management treat the customers at this store. I am always persistently given an attitude or talked too rudely, even management has proven to show this ignorance for customer service.. In one instance in particular I tried to exchange ink the week after Christmas. The return line was huge, so I asked a manager if I would be able to do an exhange on ink without a recipt, she said "yes thats fine if they give you any problems say **** said its okay." After literally 45 minutes to an hour of waiting in the return line, that same manager comes and opens a spare register to process returns. Finally after waiting forever, I put my return on the table and the same manager that told me it was okay to exhange says "Sorry I cannot take this without a recipt, Next customer." And was immediately I was ignored. In another instance, I found an item on clearance so I most certainly wanted to purchase it, the tag most certainly correlated with the item clearly stating "holmes air purifier etc etc." I get to checkout and It was ringing up at twice the price, concerned I ask if they could check it for me, as I had seen it for $60 on clearance. Clearly the cashier was not happy, and called over a supervisor. After waiting about 10 minutes, the manager that went to check came back and WITH A SMILE ON MY FACE I asked her, "any luck?" She replied with an attitude in her voice as clear as day, "you must have seen wrong because its just the humidifier on clearance" I disputed the fact of the matter with her on what I had clearly seen but It was to no avail, I just got an attitude and screwed like I always do at this store. I went back to double check and make sure I was not going crazy, sure enough the clearance tag had been removed by the supervisor that went to "check." I guess the customer is no longer right at all anymore, great customer service right there, grade A+, blatantly lie to me and treat me like crap.. I would not be here writing this if it did not happen over and over and over and over again. Walmart, please hire better employees because its happened literally like half a dozen times and now that you've ignored my complaints im filing a complaint with the BBB along with leaving this here. Never have I been consistently pissed off leaving a store because of poor customer service by employees. read more

I will have to agree 100% with Scott, as much as I would rather come to this store as it is only 5 minutes from my home I am finding myself wanting to make the trip back to Whitinsville. The NS store is very clean, plenty of space, but the shelves always look like we are about to have a world crisis and everyone has to run out and buy everything. I go in there and found absolutely no bread on a regular basis along with many many other items, if they start stocking the shelves as they are supposed to I would give it 5 stars, until then only 2 since I have to stop at other stores to get what I need after my run to Walmart. read more

Our local rotary club was seeking permission to solicit for a good cause. 100% of our proceeds would go directly to the "Special Olympics". Trying to reach the person responsible for scheduling this event is near impossible. For 10 straight business days I called morning and afternoon. All you get is a phone that keeps ringing - no answering machine. You are not allowed to visit the store to schedule your event, you must do it over the phone. This is the 2nd straight year I ran into this problem. Typical of a big chain store to ignore the local community. The Mom and Pop store they put out of business would gladly let us solicit for a good cause. read more

Price wise you can't complain about. But that comes with a price. For a newer Walmart it's already getting dirty. There are items customers didn't want and just place them in random places. I saw two cartons of eggs put near the candy aisle. Also, in the juice aisle there was a punctured juice box leaking on the floor. I like it that it is open 24 hours, but so is the CVS near it. If you go early enough you usually can beat the crowds. I don't like that they have lots of registers but only have two or three open at a time. The line is always very long. read more

Is it possible to give zero stars? I ordered a carpet cleaner online and had it delivered to the store for pick-up. I received an email stating the package was ready for pick-up. Once arriving at Walmart, there was a woman already waiting(with an infant). We waited an hour for them to "search the trailers" for our items. Their "trailers" need some organization if it takes an hour to find a customers item(s). I understand it's the holidays, however to have to wait an hour is unbelievable. My order was anything but "ready for pick-up". Next time I'll order elsewhere with faster service. read more

This Walmart has a grocery store, garden center, and pharmacy so it really is a one stop shop. I'd love to rate it higher since it actually is super clean (again, for a walmart) and has great prices on practically everything you need but unfortunately I just can't get past how rude the cashier's are. Almost every time that I've been there, the cashier is grumpy and doesn't even bother to say hi. If the customer service at this walmart were to improve, it could easily be rated higher. Until then, it's a good place to get everything you might need for a pretty good price. read more

This is by far the worst Walmart I have ever been to. There are always long lines and it takes forever to check out. I went in to get a simple fishing license. Nobody was at the counter so I asked the first associate I could find. Told he couldn't help me but would get someone. 5 minutes later nobody shows up so I found another associate. Same answer and same result. Finally after 15, closer to 20 minutes a younger man stops to help. Finally a couple minutes later, Charlie shows up with nothing but excuses. After waiting all that time I am told they can't help me since I haven't gotten my Rhode Island license yet. We recently moved from midwest. 20 minutes off my life waiting for nothing. Sounds about right for this Walmart. On the way home I called the store to talk to the manager on duty. Put on hold and phone just kept ringing and ringing. Hung up and called back again. 3 times until I finally get a CSM. I told her I wanted a manager, not a CSM. What a waste of time that was. When the supposed manager gets on the phone, I tell her what happened. No sorry, or anything else, she just starts in making excuses up. Started saying associate was probably on break. I asked why another associate or manager couldn't have helped. She actually got annoyed and started going on a tangent about employees and getting breaks. I told her to stop and asked for corporate #. She gives me 1800 walmart, I had to laugh. I then ask for her name. I thought she says Justine which upset her and she slowly and loudly states, No, it's Justina. Horrible Store, always Horrible. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else, anywhere else! This was not my first experience with this big-box franchise, but I figured, "how bad could it get". Since this Super Wal-mart opened up about 1/2 mile from my home, I hoped this would be a good place to get my groceries, household supplies, and home goods. They did little to fix their awful reputation. As a matter of fact, they totally reinforced my bad opinion of these stores. We had purchased "bitter" hamburg, Perdue chicken pumped up with water (considerable shrinkage, after baking), also vegetables and fruits that went bad in days in the fridge. We can't afford losses like this, so back to Stop & Shop. Poorly stocked shelves, lack of options for household supplies, I'm not even going to go into their cheaply made appliances. Unfortunately, more misses than hits. One thing I did buy there was an HP Laptop, a decent purchase, but the product description in the store didn't match the actual product. Don't worry, I was aware of this before I purchased it, and found it to be tolerable, for the price. Is this what they mean by "Buyer beware"? A sad state of affairs, if this is supposed to be acceptable. read more
