This was how I learned about the store and I fell in love with the furniture. Over the years I have bought most of the furniture that is in my home from BoConcept. It's beautiful furniture, modern, but at the same time inviting, comfortable and pretty. I think the last time I bought some thing at the store was about three years ago, and my furniture has always worn very well. I had a problem with one of the furniture pieces that I had purchased three years ago and I called the store to let them know. I think my experience with customer service is that it's not usually good when I called places, so I felt a little bit nervous calling. I can't even tell you how helpful Louis was, and how much better I felt after speaking with him. They are repairing the flaw to my furniture piece, and I could not be more impressed with the incredible customer service that I got. In an age of lacking Customer Service, BoConcept was the opposite. They were helpful, understanding and kind. I would highly recommend this company as well as the store. There was zero proactive communication throughout the process. I've had the great misfortune and displeasure of having to deal with Anthony Goode, one of the proprietors. He needs to get a serious lesson in customer service and hospitality or get out of the retail business. After the second missed delivery, he was unapologetic, deflected responsibility, and refused to provide a guaranteed delivery date. When asked to put everything in writing--including delivery commitments or compensation--he insisted on phone calls only, an apparent attempt to avoid a written record. After extensive back-and-forth and continued refusal to provide basic accountability or a firm delivery date, I was forced to cancel the order. Despite this, the business has refused to issue a refund of my 50% deposit. This is an unscrupulous and deceptive business operation that avoids transparency and accountability at every turn. Save yourself the time, stress, and money--do not shop here. Buyer beware!!!

BEWARE OF USING MARIO'S RECONDITIONED APPLIANCES INC…read more I'm thankful i always hangout near the oven when using it. Our oven was recently serviced yesterday by Mario's Reconditioned Appliance Inc because the ignitor died on it. So we used it last night for dinner and noticed an odd smell, we chalked it up to must be from the new part. As I'm using the oven today I'm like no something is definitely burning. Sure enough i open the broiler and boom there's a melted power tester, batteries and all just sitting there. An obvious fire hazard. My step father then calls them telling them this and here is the response from the 'owner' (person claimed to be owner using ' just in case it's not). "What would you like me to do? I'm the owner and I did the job, do you want me to fire myself?" Then the 'owner' proceeded to joke " Would you like me to cook you dinner?" Then even went so far as to joke "You think you're upset, I just lost a $150 tool." Those who don't know what a power tester is, it's a cheap small tool that beeps/flashes of there's power in something you touch it to, it costs about $20 for most higher quality types. Including pictures of the melted one and one that's pretty spot on from Walmart for $6 (if I'm able to include pictures). Disgusting how people can make so light of endangering an entire household. What if it was my grandfather starting that oven and then going back to his room? Sure i caught it before the was a fire, but what if I didn't, how funny would they find that then? I personally didn't find anything in that color that I loved, but it's worth checking if you're already shopping there. Overall, the store itself was organized, clean, and well maintained. In terms of the shop itself, it's unfortunately basically a clone of most other dispos - almost like there is one decorator/blueprint that most of them use. So differentiating has to be with product and service. On the actual products, it's been very hit or miss with the freshness on purchases, which I've talked to people at the store before about. On service - they, like SO many other dispos, use dutchie for the online storefront and ordering, and I HATE dutchie. It's difficult and inflexible to use (Can I just look for all products from Tower Three? Nope! I have to pick a particular product then start filtering by brand. Can I get super easy access to a brand filter and choose all of my preferred brands at once THEN look at the listings? Nope! It's going to re-paint the screen with each.single.checkbox.I.click). Honestly, this is something I've run into at several different Ocean State Job Lot locations with some of their "crazy deals." Sometimes they don't come up correctly and have to be manually adjusted, which can be a little frustrating if you're in a hurry.
