Do not place order for drive up. 3 other cars and I waited 30+ minutes before having to go inside. Not sure if it's the staff or system. Other than that, it's a Walmart. read more

6 self checkout stations, 3 are NOT working. I wait in line, complete my order and as I am bagging my LESS THAN 15 items the attendant asks me "can you step aside and bag your items while the next customer uses THIS self checkout station".? OK sure I will step aside as soon as I finish bagging my order. Do you really want me to put my shit back in the cart and then bag elsewhere? Does anybody working in this store makes sense ? And the management "team" has no idea what team actually means they are soooo rude. The Pharmacy is awesome but the rest of this store is just shot and going downhill. ALWAYS out of stock and shelves are barely stocked every time I go. But shit it's 6 weeks until Halloween. There is enough Halloween candy to fill 3 aisles. Hmmmmm read more

Disgusting bathrooms. No toilet paper in 4 of 5 stalls and to seat covers and it's only 2pm on a Tuesday. Gross!!!

This is a great, big, clean Walmart. They have a lot parking, customer service is fast and respectful, they had a lot of stuff. It's next to other store like Marshall's and close to the mall. There are always seagulls in the parking lot. read more

The Pharmacy delivered to wrong address, the photo from shows someones house! Walmart says there is nothing they can do since the order is non refundable. Are they kidding me, it shows the wrong address, and my account has the proper address! This was first time and the last time. Good Bye read more

I placed this order for pickup, and this is the second time I've had an issue. When I arrived to pick it up, I was told my order wasn't there, even though I had a confirmation number and the correct pickup location. After I left, I called the store and was told they did, in fact, have my order. I then tried calling back to file a complaint about the inconvenience and miscommunication, but no one answered the phone. read more

This is one of my go to Walmarts. Today was not too busy. I grabbed my items & got on line. I didn't wait long. This Walmart always has its shelves & aisles full. I picked up some groceries, clothes, soap, etc. I also got a hard to find art the clown lamp& Michelangelo figurine. Score!!! I def will be back! read more

I ordered the Mopio Blake Tall Display Cabinet from Walmart, and the entire experience -- from delivery to customer service -- has been incredibly disappointing. The cabinet arrived with a damaged package. At first glance, the parts inside looked okay, so I began assembling it. It wasn't until I was almost finished that I noticed one of the corners was damaged -- right where a screw needed to go. The damage weakened the area, and when I stood the cabinet upright, the side nearly fell off, pulling other screws and fasteners with it. Since I had company coming over and the cabinet was too heavy for me to move to the garage, I finished assembling it despite the damage. After spending nearly two hours putting it together, I ended up with a wobbly, unstable cabinet that is too weak to use. I contacted Walmart about the issue. Their automated chat made it very difficult to reach a real representative. When I finally did, the agents seemed more interested in rushing me off the chat than actually addressing my concerns. They told me to return the cabinet, but I explained I couldn't transport it. They agreed to arrange a pickup, but that still leaves me feeling like I'm the one losing here. The "compensation" offered was a $25 gift card, which doesn't come close to covering the time I spent assembling the defective cabinet, the frustrating back-and-forth in their chat system, and now having to wait for pickup. To make matters worse, I tried to leave a review on Walmart's site to warn others, but I kept being redirected to the same support chat -- meaning I can't even share my feedback about the cheaply made product or the terrible support. I knew I was taking a risk buying furniture from Walmart, but I liked the look of this piece. Unfortunately, I learned my lesson. The cabinet is poorly made, the customer service is frustrating and impersonal, and the process is far more difficult than it should be. I've had far better experiences with Amazon and Wayfair, and I won't be making a furniture purchase from Walmart again. read more

This Wal-Mart rivals the infamous White Plains, NY location for worst store ever. Employees are beyond stupid, completely unhelpful, and need a major attitude adjustment. They refuse to ring you up at customer service if the lines are backed up and just stare at you and say "Sorry." Today I asked if they carried cord boxes and the super-helpful employee said "Did you see it online? Well then order it there." read more

I ordered a laptop online that said it was available for in store pick up the next day... create account, submit order, get receipt, it's AVAILABLE and WILL BE READY FOR IN STORE PICK UP TOMORROW! Tells me to download the Walmart app, so I do, log in and it tells me my order was canceled and I'll get my refund in 10 BUSINESS DAYS aka 2 WEEKS. Ya'll buggin. I specifically ordered the available in store pick up laptop because I finally saved enough money just in time for class in 3 days. Absolute ridiculous and straight up robbery. I call the 800 number and get Mohamad who was absolutely useless did nothing to offer any type of solution other than IT IS WHAT IT IS. SCREW you Walmart, ya'll straight robbery and a joke. If I could give zero stars I would. Thanks for nothing, I went over to best buy who was wonderful and got myself a computer for school no problem because they don't lie about what's available and what's not. How can the automotive department that only does oil changes and tires be out of standard oil?

Absolutely the worst service I've received in my life !!! I needed a battery for my car and both the store website and the app said they had 2 in stock ready for In-store pick up or online order. I drove to the store, went to the automotive department and asked a employee for help to which she said "if it's not on the shelf then it's not in stock" and walked alway without offering anymore help. I then went to customer service and spoke to a manager to which she said "order it online and we'll contact you when it's available" I asked her if she could just check the back to see if she has any in stock to which she responded with a flat out "no". I didn't want to drop 100$ on a battery that may or may not be in store and end up waiting 2-3 days to get it. I cannot understand why it would be so hard for an employee to take 5 minutes to check the back for a battery that their own system says they have in stock, or why both employees were extremely rude to me for asking a simple question. I will gladly take the extra 5 minute drive to the Shelton location to receive better service and a friendlier staff. If you desperately need something important DO NOT shop here, and for that matter, don't shop here period unless you want to be treated poorly by the staff. read more

Definitely won't be back. These people seem very fed up with their jobs and they don't make the shopping experience pleasant. Also, the store is not very well kept. I couldn't find many things that I had wanted, however I DID find what I needed, so they get 1 extra star on top of the 1 Star I gave for them just being open at least. Would not recommend. read more

This Walmart reminds me of the ones from way back in the day. There's no groceries and the selections are sparse. Its pretty small and definitely not the mega walmarts that we have all come to love or hate! read more

Typical Walmart. Bathrooms are filthy. Nothing new here. Needs more self service checkouts.

Took a trip to Walmart with my mom and my son yesterday, as we do many Saturdays. We get there and there's one cart left in front so I grabbed it and started wiping it down so I can put my son in. As I'm wiping it down, your cart guy rammed about 30carts into the back of my ankle. Looked right at me and didn't even apologize. If you've ever been hit with a moving cart in the ankle you know it hurts. Now imagine the force of about 30 carts. Nice bruise on the back of my leg today. If your employee at least apologized I wouldn't be this mad. I can understand accidents happen at work. But be a decent fucking human being and at least apologize and ask if I'm ok! read more

I took my chevy blazer to the auto center for two front tires. The girl at the desk took the tire size and rang up my estimate moderately well and said come back in 45 minutes. Keep in mind I specifically told her I only wanted the two front tires, and she didn't say there was a problem with that. I was later paged over the intercom while I was having my lunch at the instore subway. Apparently because I have All Wheel Drive their policy is they can't do just two tires, and I needed to have all four tires done. I was not going to replace the two back tires that were basically brand new. I would not have minded this if the girl told me when I first got there rather than paging me over the intercom and wasting an hour of my time. I'll just buy tires elsewhere and do the damn job myself. read more

Don't ever go to the auto center! Got here at 1:40 and the lady gave an estimate of 1:30hr max of waiting. Turns out they take forever to change only one tire, I'm still waiting for them to do the service and it's been almost double of the time that they gave to be ready. You can clearly see that the employees don't prioritize time to get things done. If it was at town fair tire they would be done way faster. Walmart auto center employees: start working faster or at least the business could hire people that actually get the work done! Bunch of turtles on this place read more

Very busy, like most Walmart stores. The main thing that grabbed my attention was how nice and pleasant the self check out lady was to us. She even told us to have a nice day when we left and that's not something you hear a lot at Walmart stores anymore. Everyone seemed to have a pleasant experience with her. I was in the store on 10/5 around 5:45pm. It was the black young lady with braids read more

This review is for the photo department only. I don't develop pictures often but today I developed over 500 pictures waited for them to print for 2 hours. Jhomore came to help me twice as once the ink ran out and then the paper ran out. Both times I said to him these are my wedding pictures. After waiting around for 2 hours in Walmart they were done printing and I went up to pay with the addition of 4 photo albums and 10 picture frames. They told me they could not sell me MY WEDDING PICTURES because they are copy write. Which I don't know how they are copy right when my photographer personally sent them to me. Their explanation was that a professional took them and I paid her for the service. Which then one of the men behind the counter looked at one of my wedding picturEs and said they weren't even good quality. Thanks!! I had to call my photographer and ask her to send over a letter saying I could have my pictures. Once I got the email I came back in to get my pictures and when I got there a manager was telling another lady to shh because I am here so they obviously where talking poorly about a customer which is very unprofessional. Don't give Walmart the business for printing photos, or be sure to get in writing that you can print your pictures before wasting your time. read more

It was a Wal-Mart. What the hell can you say about Wal-Mart...? They have alot of stuff there, and their lines are always really long. They don't have the best selections of stuff on Earth but somehow you always end up spending like a hundred dollars on shit that you never anticipated buying when you walked in. It's convenient, no-too-dirty, and the American dream, right?? read more

Visited the store to pick a few items that I needed for work upon arriving to the store I asked two associates for help who didn't quite seem to wanna be there. One just pointed and the other said it was not her department. After still not being able to locate the item I saw another associate who I said "hi excuse me" and she huffed and puffed as she turned around. I asked was she okay and she said she's sick of you f****** customers and called me a b****and told me she would drag me out the f****** store if I didn't leave her alone. I honestly don't know why people come to work with the public with this type of demeanor. I spoke with someone who stated he was the assistant manager and he didn't seem to take this issue too serious and as a result of that I will never shop at any Walmart. This is beyond unacceptable and for the management to think this is okay it's horrible. read more

Walking in, you see immediately to your left a small arcade room. Interesting that they offer this here. Then, in the front of the registers, you see a nail shop (where do you not see one of these guys) As you walk in from the outside, immediately you could tell the SMELL was different. A BAD different. Such a bad smell that it makes you want to gag. Describe the smell? Like sweaty armpits of Jose individuals that have not showered in a couple days. Yes, that dramatic. Glad we only made a stop in to see what the had to offer (sales), no turning back to this one. read more

I was surprised to read poor reviews about this Walmart but I suppose they make a little sense in that it is rather smaller than other locations. Perhaps I think differently as I was condemned to endure the Orlando, FL area Walmart for three years. Massive Walmarts' with Disney merchandise every corner you looked at and plagued with tacky tourists and screaming children. Parking would always be full and you'd have to walk at least a third of a mile from any open spots. This Walmart was smaller, organized, clean, and had plenty of parking. One of the employees pulled out a cart for me as soon as I walked in. But the best part was NO TOURISTS OR MICKEY MOUSE T-SHIRTS everywhere! I would rather do my groceries at Stop and Shop anyways. They also have bottle recycling collecting machines right at the entrance. I really cannot complain about this Walmart. read more

I am not a fan of Walmart in general but this one is particularly bad. It doesn't matter how busy it is, there will only be three open registers. You can never find anyone to help you. The shelves are never fully stocked in any area. The bathrooms are beyond disgusting and the most recent time I was in there the handicap stall was out of order as was another stall and there was only toilet paper in one of the working stalls. There are always plenty of employees wandering around so there is no reason for any of the nonsense going on in here. read more

Despite the fact this is a relatively newer store and well-sited next to the Post Mall, this is easily the worst managed Walmart in the area. There are so many weaknesses here: - Long, long lines virtually every time you're here, with only several open registers. - On a busy Labor day weekend, with enormous lines such that every 10 minutes there's a call on the loudspeaker for every available employee to report to the registers, there's a crew of employees inexplicably restocking random items in the middle of the store. Slowly restocking to be precise. - On that same weekend, zero -- ZERO -- carts in the store. Had to walk out of the store to find a cart in the lot. Meanwhile, an employee is sitting right next to where the carts go ostensibly trying to get people to sign up for the Walmart credit card. Hey manager, how about sending this guy who's just sitting there out for a few minutes to collect some fucking carts for the benefit of your customers?! - Poor stock levels and messy - items not available here often found at other nearby locations. - Once we tried to pay with a Walmart giftcard, which required some sort of assistant manager to come to the register to press a button or something. The cashier did what she had to do to summon the manager, and even tried to flag down this person, who was just wandering around the front of the store wasting time. We could see her just milling around, chatting with people. It took some 15 minutes for this person to make it to the register, where she offered no apology, no explanation, no greeting. She pressed her button, and the transaction proceeded. Mind you, this entire time, no one could be checked out while we waited for this buffoon to come over. While leaving, we happened to walk right past her, and I couldn't hold back my frustration, and I said to her "you know, you kept us waiting for 15 minutes...". Instead of offering any sort of apology, she exploded at us with something along the lines of "you ain't the only people in here!". How on earth someone with this disposition and utter disregard for customers could be some sort of manager at a retail store is beyond comprehension to me. The West Haven location is markedly better than here. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. Brought my car in for a snow tire changeover. After about 30 minutes the manager came over to tell me the tire machine might damage my old tire. I told him the tire was shot anyway so don't worry. Well- he didn't wreck that, he wrecked my good tire! They also cracked one of my alloy wheels. Avoid like the plague. My mistake trusting this place. read more

I filed a claim through corporate and the store. Their Auto Manager still denies that they messed up my oil pan. Here's the rub: I called the dealer where I bought the car and they told me the regular oil pan plug was in the pan when it was sold, and they would NEVER have sold the car with the "bad" plug in or with damage to the oil pan. So.... WalMart's fault. Their claims people contacted me, listened to my claim, and now WalMart is shelling out $600 for the repair to my car. I still wouldn't go here for anything! Walmart of Milford CT, what has happened to this Walmart?? They have Employees outside in the COLD FOYER WITH THIS LITTLE HEATER BEHIND THEM AND IT IS FREEZING! I called the Corporate Office and spoke to someone who said that they will look into and see what they can do. How would they the big shots of walmart like to stand in the Cold for hours. That is one thing they would never do Sad. I will continue to use my voice for the employees of walmart because walmart it self don't care. The actual store is fine. There are much nicer Walmarts nearby though (one in Stratford, one on Saw Mill). The Subway is awful. The folks who operate it will try to overcharge (charging the price of a large drink when you asked for a regular, saying they applied a coupon but not actually doing so, etc.). I had a buy-one-get-one coupon with no extra stipulations in the fine print, but they wouldn't let me use it unless I bought a drink. Oh yeah, there's no water. So if you want a glass of water you need to buy a soda cup for $2.50. Coffee is stale and gross. They also take only cash in payment, which I suspect is because they don't want to pay interchange fees to the credit card companies and/or because they pocket the cash and "pay" for subs with subway gift cards which they acquire at a discount. read more

Out of the area Walmarts, this is probably the worst. Poor inventory and selection of stuff, cluttered aisles and shelves, poor customer service, rude cashiers that would rather be doing something else and so on.
