Had the worst customer service experience of my life in this Walmart . I bought an inexpensive shelving unit in a cardboard box. I brought it home and opened it and discovered it had been returned, someone had messed up on the assembly and broke many parts rendering the unit useless. I brought it back the same day with the receipt and they refused the refund accusing me of breaking it. The service desk people were beyond rude and flatly stated they do not put broken returned merchandise back on their shelves so I must have broken it.The exchange became heated and they relented and took back and gave me credit for this extremely valuable $15 particle board shelving unit. I have never darkened the door of a Walmart since and am much happier with Target. read more

I had an old gift card from Walmart and decided to do some online shopping and purchased some cds. I chose the option to have them shipped to the store for pick up. About 10 days later, I received an email early Friday morning, in which my order was in house and ready for pick up. I drove home from Boston that evening to pick them up.When I got there, it took the 4th person who walked passed me to inquire if I was being helped. Finally, this employee came out and after awkwardly complimenting me on my driver's license, left me at the counter to look for my order for about 15 min. After that, he came back out and informed me that my order was there, but still on the truck and that I'd have to come back the next day. His additional comment of, "Awww... bad for you, but GOOD for me!", left me feeling, not only pissed but nauseous. Walmart in Framingham needs an intense make over- both visually and with their customer service. Oh! and hitting on the customers is creepy and extremely unprofessional. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. Too bad this one wasn't closed in their mass store closing this year. Management here is the worst. Had a manufacturer's coupon (taken off the box at point of sale) that the manager refused to accept bc the register wouldn't take it. The coupon was for that specific product and wasn't expired. Never had a store flat out refuse to help problem solve an issue like that. At first she said the product didn't match when that was shown to be inherently untrue, she kept repeating the register won't take, the register won't take, will be short $10, will be short $10... Tf? Duh that's the reason she was called over. Zero help. The cashier was even apologizing saying it didn't make sense and that he just worked there. I was calm the whole time, but the situation was so bizarrely handled on the manager's part that I guess he felt he needed to apologize on her behalf. Shame. Verbal and written English was not her strong suit. Would of been better off talking to a wall. With employees like this being promoted to manager positions, Walmart is guaranteed more store closings. Good thing there's Target right around the corner, I suggest going there. Worst Walmart Ive been to. I do not frequent Walmart very often, but this was my first time in the Framingham store. Under stocked shelves-crowded-rude customers-groceries were a joke-VERY limited-no specialty healthy foods aisle like Target- mostly junk food-Disorganized store-Lines were off the charts long- Despite announcement "all trained cashiers to the front to ring" Not one cashier appeared. I finally found my way to self-serve line and waited 15 minutes-Never will return to this location! read more

This Walmart is just ok. They never seem to have anything in stock . I asked for a product that was displayed and they told me that they only have the picture, but the product itself was not sold there. Ugh. Usually when I go there sometimes entire racks of products are bare, However it isn't as bad as others are making it out to be. There is no weird smell, everyone there is pretty cordial and the store is no more messy than any other store short of expensive ritzy stores like Nordstrom. There are usually only like 3 registers open and about 20+ in each line. Where the heck are the other employees? It's even worse at Christmas. Walmart seems to be pretty crowded all the time. Apparently the whole town hangs out at Walmart, I guess it's because it's quickly becoming the most affordable store since Framingham/Natick is trying to become "High class". And no i'm not going to include Target in that category because I don't know if i'm shopping at the same target as everyone else, because Target is expensive! Really there is no comparison between the prices. Target is at least 35 dollars more for the same quality/same product. All in All you usually find what you came there for at a decent price. If you can deal with the headache of trying to find a parking space or standing at one of three open registers go for it. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The few times I have been in there, I wonder why am I even bothering to go in. I don't really like Walmart anyways. Their the only place I have found that print matte finish photos. Today I placed a simple order for 12 pictures. I didn't get an email saying they were ready, so I called the photo center 2 times, and no one answered. Then I went in, no one was at the photo center, which it like that the few times I have been in. So I asked if someone was working there, a man said no. I asked for his help, and he said when he was free. He was very rude. There are maybe a couple of nice people that work there, but more not friendly people. Don't even bother even going into this place!! read more

They generally have what I need at reasonable prices, however the service is lacking, especially in the photo department. There is one or two associates that are awesome and the rest are just awful. I've ordered prints online and gone in 3 hours later after receiving an email and text message that my prints were ready, only to find that they hadn't even been processed. So I'm told to come back in a few hours, which i do and again the prints are not ready. They tell me to come back the next day and again, they are not ready. This time the associate/ manager is competent and has them ready in 20 minutes but allows NO DISCOUNT for my troubles... very disappointing.. read more

Yesterday I checked out at the Framingham Walmart. For once I thought the checkout process went better than usual until I checked my receipt and found that a major item had been scanned twice adding 20% to my bill. When I asked the clerk to fix this, he said he could not without a manager. The manager was no where to be found, however. After a patient wait of about 10 minutes, I asked again for his help. He called across the floor for a manager, who did not make any move to help. After I tried to get help from 4 other Walmart people, the manager finally came over and took care of the issue about 30 minutes later. The manager had been more or less staring into space during that time, at least by my observation of her activity. read more

I'm gonna preface by saying I'm one of those much-maligned quasi-Marxists who shops at Walmart anyway because it's freaking cheap and I'm sometimes rather hypocritical. I've been in a good bunch of Walmarts, and most are passable. The ones out in the Midwest and West are killer: huge places you can get lost in and use as a bizarro capitalist playground. You can buy fresh produce, get your nails painted, buy particle board furniture, gawk at trashy clothing, get some delish Subway, watch employees yell at each other to maintain a semblance of self-importance, and buy that lovely 300 jigawatt Kraco car stereo- all under one roof. They're a real blast to see, and given how easy they are to shop in and how professional the workers are, I can see very much why they've become America;s retail spot of choice. The two east-coast ones I've been in are quite different, though, especially the Framingham one. This place is loud, it smells a bit, the aisles are narrow and always thronged with shoppers, the products are falling on to the floor, and their shitworkers often don't understand basic English statements like "where would I find scarves?" The prices are keen, yes, but unless you're doing a huge shopping, it's hard to justify a visit because the checkout line alone will take you twenty minutes to clear, and you'll feel like you've just shedded your last ounce of dignity braving this place just to save a few bucks. If it tells you something, the clientele is probably 70% Brazillian, and most white customers look pretty dumpy. I sense that given the ability to shop elsewhere than here, most take it and move up to Stop and Shop, Target, Kohl's, .etc, .etc. Again, very different from other regions. One major thing of note: the clothes are so uninspiring that going there is like picking through the Salvation Army hunting for that rare article that can be subverted, with some love, into something that doesn't look dollar-store tacky and about five years past the fashion sell-by. I don't know why they can't order better designs from their Chinese OEMs, but the men's clothes are all drab and broish, and the women's clothes are super-trashy but without even a Rocky Horror charm. Here, gender lines are super-tight, and if you're a guy and want to look cute (read: not like a meathead,) get ready to crossdress, because guys just aren't allowed anything cute in Sam's conception of clothing gendering. Not that women get a very good cuteness, either; try Hello Kitty, but with two pounds of glitter absolutely none of the kawaii wonder that makes San Rio products so adorable. Still, there's a few items that can be worked with, like trashy metallic scarves, neon striperd shirts, and a few cute pullover designs. read more

This is by far the WORST walmart i have been to. The aisles are always a mess. I can never find anything i'm looking for because they're either out of stock or in a pile of mess. I am never greeted by anyone. The employees not only are not helpful for finding items but also very rude. The indian women who works at the customer service desk glares at me and rudely demands for my credit card. That is just unacceptable. read more

First, let me express that I am not a Wal-Mart snob. For years, this has been the go-to store for finding items quickly and at the least expensive price. However, the Framingham Walmart is an embarrassment to the entire corporation, and should be shut down for renovation & a thorough cleaning. The interior of the building is a dismal mess. The check-out lines are longer than security at LAX, and most of the slovenly dressed employees are not helpful at all. If Sam Walton were still alive and paid a visit to this store, he would be devastated. Also, there were no shopping baskets, as the cashier stated 'they get stolen'. This Wal-Mart may have great prices, but are somewhat disorganized. In some aisles the merchandise is put on the shelf, haphazardly. I have a stinky feeling that they put merchandise that was returned as being defective, back on the shelve, when they should return such merchandise to the vendors for credit. I rated it 3 stars, because the prices are great. The store needs more organization, more cashiers and associates to help customers. One major pet peeve I have, that lately, this Wal-Mart hasn't had working electric shopping carts, maybe just one if they have any. I need to use one so I can do my shopping. My legs and back hurt something awful if I have to stand, and push a regular shopping cart for 2 hours, they don't have enough benches, either. It would be better if Wal-Mart made the Framingham store, a superstore. They got the land to do so. read more

Worst Wal-Mart around. We will drive an extra 25 minutes PAST this Wal-Mart to go to the one in Northboro because we've had so many bad experiences here. They all too often run out of products and can take weeks to restock. My worst experience happened yesterday. I ordered something online and went there for my store pickup. After tapping the screen to call an associate, I waited for over 10 minutes. No one ever came and the screen reset itself. So I tapped it again and waited. Two more customers got in line behind me to pick up their online orders. The whole time we were there, at least 8 employees walked by us to the bathroom or stockroom and NONE of them even bothered to ask us if we were being helped. After another 10 minutes, one of the customers behind me asked one of the "walk by" employees for help. He said he did not work in this department and got another employee. The other employee could not help us either, so he went to ask someone else. He came back and told us that someone would be back at the desk to assist us "in 30 minutes." That's right, 30 MINUTES!!! I'm sorry, but wasting 50 minutes of my day to pick up one online order is UNACCEPTABLE. I would rather have paid the $5 shipping cost than waste my time at this place. This store really needs to shape up in a major way. So disappointed, again. read more

Wow..I always say I am the minority when I go into this place but without all the benefits they have..I'll explain later. It is a filthy store as when I was walking around the place my shoes kept sticking to the floor. Their items are everywhere..don't like how the womens clothes are right at the door for all to see me shopping for them. I always feel uncomfortable looking for a pair of pants or a shirt. I don't even enjoy walking into the store as there are always weird looking people hanging around, sitting on the benches, rude people smoking cigarettes..always nasty entering this store and the grounds are always filthy. Does anyone ever sweep the inside and outside of this store?? So my Husband and I get in line to pay for our stuff..we had about 10 items and the woman ahead of us had a shopping cart full of stuff. She doesn't even bother taking everything out and expects the cashier to scan her items while they are still in her shopping cart..don't know if he scanned everything as she was a Welfare Customer. I guess us hard working Americans pay for all their stuff and their kids. What I saw her getting with her Welfare card was astonishing. She had a kid so some of the items were a nice new summer beach bag for herself, a new stroller, 24 pack of water, clothes, water purifier??..I can't believe what our taxes pay for these people! She had her cart loaded. Luckily a few items she had were rejected from her Wicc card and they had to void out a few things. We unfairly waited in line as she did not speak English and they had to look for an interpreter. I know Wal-Mart caters to these people as they were completely forgetting about us while they were tending to her. Seeing that makes me not want to pay taxes anymore as they definitely go to non speaking English immigrants so they can fill up their shopping carts for free while we have to pay for our stuff. It was very maddening to see this and they keep on having kids!! We had to go and find another checkout aisle after we had just waited half an hour. This place is where all the Welfare people go to spend our money galore! The Employees are nothing to write home about. I feel like I am in another Country there for sure..the land of the free-loaders..and they can buy cigarettes and c.d's?? Sorry but this Wal-Mart gives me the creeps!!! read more

Hi, I also find this store to be a problem most of the time.First off prices on products on selves and what it rings up at register is a major problem,you tell the person ringing it in and have to wait for Manager to come tell the person to just change it which can take 10 to 20 minutes,come back a week later and same product same problem.I contacted corporate head quarters by email,had to do this 2 or 3 times to get a call from Framingham store and her reply was I should bring it to the managers attention.I told her the manager was the person that told cashier to change it, now it should have been him/her that went and fixed it then not weeks later.Last visit bought jar of Great value chunky mushroom/green pepper pasta sauce, came home and that night cooked half the bottle and put it on veal parm and pasta.When we went to eat it was bad tasting,tried piece of veal without the sauce was fine,went to frig and got half jar of sauce and wife smelled it and said it was bad.Checked experation date nov 28 2016 and bought it on sept 22 2014.entire meal was tossed out..sent email very next day to corporate and no reply after a week, sent another email asking what Walmart was going to do about this. I expect to get some reasonable compensation for my loss. Still no reply.Wake up walmart, we spend $75.00 to $100.00 weekly at your store.Going now to Food and Drug administration and Attorney generals office, along with seeing if Iteam from news station can help with this. If nothing comes of it then will take my shopping elsewhere. read more
