Went here looking for an Xbox360 since walmart.com indicated it was in stock and my old one died. Got there and the store is a real mess. The normally locked display case that had consoles in it was left half open and the consoles in there were strewn about. I didn't see any Xbox360s in there, so after I tracked down an associate and asked him if they had any in stock, he responded a bit rudely that he knew every item they had in stock and they had no Xbox360s despite what the web site might say. I asked if he could check if other Walmart stores might have it and he said no and walked off. Save yourself the trouble and just go to Target instead. It's only a couple minutes away, the sales associates are nicer, and the store is clean and orderly. read more

I live in California. Came to Framingham for two weeks to visit my mom. First time in the east coast, so I wanted to visit every place I could. I hate any Wal-Mart in Los Angeles and I'll continue to hate them. This has proven to me that all Wal-Mart stores are the same; dirty, unorganized and just plain irritating to be in. Three stars is pretty generous. It's more like 2.5 stars. This is one of the worst walmarts I have been to in a while. The store is small and nowhere close to a super center. Their hours are short and their shelves do not have nearly the amount of items you would expect at Walmart. They have a self check out section which is great because I like to bag my own items and not deal with an airhead employee. The reason I'm giving 3 stars rather than 2 is the prices are cheaper than regular grocery stores and I guess it's better than not having a Walmart around. read more

Someone stole my walmart credit card and charged $2050 worth of merchandise at the Framingham store. I reported this to Walmart credit center, the store, and the police. Not once did a cashier check for an ID. I got all the transaction times and register numbers and told the asst. Manager Brian and security. This was over a week ago and haven't heard shit from them. They were supposed to pull up the video of theperson and send to the police so I could ID. I have a good idea who did this. WTF walmart, does it matter if someone is ripping customers off??? Wish I could give less than 1 star. By far the worst Wal Mart I've ever been in. Short of help and the worker that were there were extremely rude. One in particular, Wing in electronics. It was obvious he hates his job and was very rude. I asked him a question and see I'm with a customer and kept walking instead of saying that he would be with me after he finishes up. I will start by saying I don't like Walmart to begin with, they are dirty and smelly. I would rather spend the few extra dollars and go to Target. On this occasion though I went there. My 10 year old daughter wanted to buy a camera with the money she saved, it was tax free weekend so off we go. 2 days later the screen was all messed up so we go to return it, fine no problems we do an even exchange. We get home and the camera in the box is totally different than the picture on the box. The color is different, it's used, scratches on the screen and a different model number. So the next morning back to Walmart. I tell my story and have my 2 receipts and the guy at the service desk gets the photo guy. I explain my story again to him, he goes back and forth from photo to the service desk where I am. He starts to argue with me that its not the same model, no kidding that's why I am bringing it back to get the right camera...that's ALL I want, the right camera. So now they are implying that I am lying, I feel like I am on trial, are you kidding me, I have all my receipts. The photo manager now steps on the scene, he's going back and forth from photo to service, I explain my story AGAIN ( at this point I am getting a little louder not rude though) he says he'll give me a store credit, that's what I wanted in the first place, the right camera and now I have just wasted over 20 minutes of my time! I get the new camera and make the photo guy open it while I am still there. I had to pay 5 something for the sales tax but at that point I didn't care I just wanted out of there. I have used this Walmart a number of times over the years. It is tiny as Walmarts go, and can get very crowded. The worst thing about this Walmart is the tiny, crowded parking lot. Still, it is a Walmart, and you can find some things here cheaper than any other store. It is the only Walmart in the area, and it's better than nothing. I don't agree that the members of the staff cannot speak English. You can find people to help you in this Walmart. They are not always enthusiastic about helping you, but they will help you. There are actually more employees working the floor than in the Target across the street. One thing I really hate about the store is that I have never been able to reach anyone there by phone. read more

What can I say. It's Walmart. My quarrel is with customer service. Don't even bother calling the store because they WILL NOT answer the phone. If you're white, they won't even do so much as make eye contact with you. You're just SOL until you contact corporate and have them sort things out on your behalf. I had 3 separate run-ins with a CS rep named Benedictine...she saw me standing there needing assistance and she did everything in her power to pretend I wasn't there. I've been to this Walmart a few times now, and it is what it is. It's well stocked, the service is helpful, and the prices are as expected. That said, the layout of this particular branch is a bit different. I believe they've arranged their more popular sections towards the entrance, which makes sense, but other areas are left completely hidden in the depths of the store. Frankly, they felt a bit neglected, with untidy shelves, pieces out of stock, and no staff within clear sight. read more

This Walmart is getting a bit run down and seems like the management team here just aren't getting the job done. The shelves in the food area are more bare as compared to other area Walmarts (i.e. Quincy). The Men's clothing area needs a big recovery as it was pretty messy. I can't say that the Women's area was much better. The one area that seemed to be more organized and stocked was the pharmacy area. If you need allergy meds, you'll be able to find some. I'll come back and hope that it's a better shopping experience but I may tend to lean towards the Target around the corner. read more

Ugh. I rarely shop here, in spite of the price differential. The store is a little run down, and there are never enough cashiers. On more than one occasion I have put my things back and walked out because the check out lines were so long. They can put a "greeter" at the front of the store, but can't put him/her at a cash register to speed up the process. Go figure. And I wouldn't even consider buying fresh foods there. This is the worst Walmart I have ever shopped at. The staff are not friendly and especially in the electronics department. The staff at electronics department treat you very badly. They just don't like talking to you and you ask them anything they just say we don't know. It is okay to tell customers if they are not sure of any electronics, but there is a better way of telling that. I have a request to the managing department here. Well, I like Walmart in general, and shop there all the time, but not at this one. Some walmart stores probably deserve 5 stars rating on Yelp. But this one I can only give one star. They are not up to the level of other Walmarts I've shopped in. Cleanliness, professionalism of the staff, layout, waits in line (especially on the weekend it is crazy there). My small purse with every penny I had for my kids Christmas was taken from there yesterday. It wasn't bad enough that I was panic stricken but when I went to the service desk to ask if it had been returned, the first person I "tried' communicating with told me she didn't speak English!!!!!! Time lost there!!!! Where do we live!?!?! The security person I was sent to was helpful and apparently going over video servalence for me. Unfortunatly he didn't strike me as having a positive outlook or seem to reassuring....How can that be when it should be right there on the screen!? I scoured the store for 3 additional hours in great hopes of finding it and as far as security and the video, heard Nothing more! The clientele there is most certainly sketchy along with the majority of employees. Watch your backs, your wallets and your pocketbooks there!!!!! Sad world we live in. If you are cheap and can't afford a high quality bike by all means buy here . While the Framingham store is so busy, they are often out of items, their prices are great. Products are good quality. I think how busy the store is says how good they are. As a retailer, they are leaps and bounds above the large retailers of yore, like KMart (which still exists...for shame). I think some people just hate them because they are so successful. I agree with just about everyone who previously posted. I moved to Framingham from Milford and I HATE this store. I went to the Bellingham store often and it had everything I needed and the clothes quality was much better for some reason. May be a different buyer at the Framingham store I dont buy the clothers here but do pick up cheaper food products or house wares. The lines are way too long and I also cant understand the layout of this store. It makes no sense. I blame the manager of this store for the problems. This Walmart is NOT good. 1. It is chronically understaffed.....there's no one to help when I need it and the lines at check out are staggering. 2. Although there are some stand-out employees, much of the staff is untrained and knows less than I do about the merchandise and its location and cost. 3. Last year this store was a disaster with displays crowding the aisles. They did a clean up and reorganization and it was improved. However, I was there last week and once again due to Easter and St. Patrick's Day, the aisles, especially near the check out registers, and customer service, were dangerously crowded. With long lines anyway, the area becomes blocked and new shoppers cannot make their way through to get to where they want to go. Because of the large shopping carts, maneuvering through the store is very annoying. Aisles are too narrow. I have found a few regular employees who are very nice, efficient and helpful, but the majority do seem to have communication problems due to language and seem disinterested in even trying to go the extra mile. I also find that some products that I use regularly are not always available. I then have to drive all the way to the Hudson Walmart. With gas costs rising, I will probably not be doing this, so Walmart will lose my business. Using the restroom is like playing Russian Roulette. Some days - not bad. Other days - so bad that I have left the store. read more

Today I had an absolute worst experience at Walmart Framingham. I went in there with my own shopping bags which I had purchased 10 of in the past when they switched from plastic to paper bags. The lady at register 2, Rose accused me of shoplifting those couple of bags that I handed to her to put my stuff in because I had not taken the tags off and demanded I pay for them again. She took the bags out of hands and placed them out of my reach so I could not get them. She was stealing from me because I paid for that product. I refused to pay for the bags again and told her to get me a manager at which point she said, she is the manager. I proceeded to tell her to look at the cameras that I walked in with these. At first, she refused and said she has to finish off the transactions for everyone else in line but I was adamant that she has to resolve my issue prior to moving on to another since she had the audacity of accusing me of stealing .99 cent bags when my entire purchase this time was $84. It makes no sense for me to steal those bags and pay for stuff that is much pricey!!! Another one of her coworker interjected and went with her to check the cameras. I waited 35 mins before they came back and told me that they couldn't locate me on the cameras because they don't have access to some of them !!!! I have never been ridiculed like this ever before anywhere in my entire life. I was embarrassed in front of people in line behind me and on top of it I was late to work. They had no idea who their loss and prevention manager was when I asked them but it was the worst scene. I will let everyone know and leave additional reviews. I will make sure this issue gets resolved and I will reach out to the chain of commands because this should have never happened. read more

It's very sad that people judge whether they want walmart in their neighborhood based on this location. That being said, worst walmart I have ever been to. We just moved from rural Virginia where Walmart has much more of a presence and there is no way you can compare this place to a super walmart or the target great land down the road. The selection and prices are horrible, there was no value compared to my local stop and shop. The building is old and dirty. I am so frustrated that I could cry. I called them to ask if they had a certain product. They first sent me to one department and nobody picked up for 10minutes. I then called two other times and they send me to the same department where nobody picked up. 11/26/12 ..this morning I called the Walmart 121 Worcester Rd. Framingham, Ma to find out if they still had a carpet cleaner that went on sale "Black Thursday" the girl who answered the phone did her best to find out & connect me to the right dept. she did check back with & did not leave me hanging to let me know the person was out to lunch & to all back...when I did manage to call back they did put me through to the dept. I needed & I was told they had 2 left & they were still on sale so I drove over & was directed to the dept. I needed & helped right away by a woman named Valentina..she knew where it was right away & had been the woman I spoke to on the phone & had checked for me...after putting it in my cart I noticed all the lines were long as to be expected this time of yr. put the pharmacy had no one in line when I asked this woman if I could pay there she said sure also offered me a 2 yr extened protection plan for $7.00 ...Thank You Walmart for being so helpfull today & I am sure the guy that heard me ask the pharmacy to ring me up is also Thankull because he jumped right behind me....I had been checking this cleaner out at B.J.s for sometime it is $169.00 there I almost bought it for that price with a $20.00 off coupon...I am more than thrilled that I waited for Xmas sales...
