Contrary to what a couple of reviewers have ludicrously claimed, this Framingham location is most definitely NOT a Superwalmart at all...yes it does have an outdoor garden department, but inside, the main floor is very small and cramped, with zero fresh produce or meat, just 3 small aisles of refrigerated food which were only 3/4 stocked, and maybe 4 aisles of canned and processed food. Quite strange since it's a 30 minute drive from central Boston via the Mass Pike, so we're talking way out in the boonies with lots of cheap empty land to build on. Anyways, looks like I will be sticking to the WM in Saugus then, which I had been hoping to find a viable alternative to because I find driving on Rt 1 to get there so dreary. This, unfortunately, ain't it. Actually makes me appreciate the Saugus location a lot more, despite its butt ugly surroundings, lol. read more

I do not enjoy shopping at the Walmart in Framingham, MA. As other reviewers have stated, they are out of stock when it comes to certain items that the web site says are available at the store. The store is dirty, the shelves are disorganized and the entire experience is depressing. I'll stick to ordering it online and having it shipped or I'll go elsewhere. Walmart is a deceptive and peculiar shop. From the outside one would expect it to be your typical supermarket, with a fruit aisle and smiley workers walking around happy to direct you to the baked beans. This Walmart is less like your weekly shop and more like a testosterone-filled warehouse where you go to get cheap kitchen scissors. I suppose for all the DIY folks out there it's an ideal shopping spot. I did manage to find what I needed (binbags, shower gel and suncream if you were wondering) but the experience was not the all-American one that'd been described to me and so it's with a heavy heart that I must pledge myself a Target girl. read more

I always give 5 star to Walmart in Quincy. However my experience in Framingham is not good consistently. Especially the returns. This location doesn't care about the welfare of their customers. They frequently allow non service dogs in who will bark at my fully trained service dog and when I bring it to their attention they always brush me off saying that there's nothing they can do! I've notified corporate several times and they say that they will pass my complaint on to the store manager who contacts me via phone to apologize but nothing ever changes. One day someone is going to get bitten but until they change their philosophy on emotional support vs service dogs being the same thing and not asking the 2 questions I highly recommend not shopping at this location! read more

The store itself looks very new, very well organized and that excited me since most of the stores I have attended seem to be out dated. I found it very easy to find what I needed on my visits, but I also witnessed a staff member berating another. Not appropriate! I witnessed this on two different occasions of being in the store by the same person. She should be ashamed of herself and the executives in this store should be reviewing store policies with staff because if I could have found one she would have been reported. No I don't normally Yelp about Wal-Mart but I had to go and get a few odds and ends and left so frustrated. Shelves were not stocked; stuff was everywhere and no one around to help. The few people that were around were not helpful. I talked with another customer and she directed me towards Target which was great! Wal-Mart prices may sometimes be cheaper like the commercials want you to believe as the winking smiley face kicks the prices down but that doesn't really matter if the place is a wreck and there is no stock from which to select or buy from. Then when you do get what you worked so hard to find and put it into your cart/buggy you are still have to wait in lines. Long lines that are forever long and take forever! Did I say long and forever...twice! Skip it - Take a right at the end of the building and use the cut through to go to Target. The prices may be a bit higher but worth it! read more

This place is a nightmare. Just asked about 5 different people to unlock The electric toothbrush heads for me so I could buy a pack. Every one of them passed the buck. Not one of them was willing to help me. They kept referring me to the pharmacy staff, and the pharmacy was closed. I wish I could've recorded at least one of my interactions there, they were so ridiculous. Then the cashier grabbed something out of my hand and made a noise when I said I wasn't going to get it. The lines are so bad it's hard to even fathom and as I mentioned the workers are just completely rude and ignorant. There was one employee working in clearance that was great. But that's a rare find. Unless you have a very long time to spend in line and like people that are useless and rude, go to target. This place isn't worth it. Place is a dump through and through. This is the worst Walmart! There is never enough check out or customer service help, ever! I don't understand why. It seems that they mostly hire non-speaking English help but so what?? Market Basket also has a majority of non-speaking English help and their registers and stocking help are always staffed appropriately. Walmart in Hudson, a mere 8.4 miles away, is a Supercenter and bigger than the Framingham store is always is well staffed. . The Bellingham Walmart is the best for me and is 16 miles away from Framingham. You save more time driving there than waiting for service in Framingham. There is no long line waiting to check out or get help at Customer Service. I don't believe there is a shortage of help for the Framingham store given the success of the other neighboring Walmarts and the Ashland Market Basket. Management should be held responsible and get their act together to recruit, pay and treat their staff as the other businesses mentioned. read more

This is by far the most incompetent Walmart Pharmacy I have ever been too. When you go to a pharmacy you expect your prescriptions to be ready. It's understandable if you are going to the pharmacy right after your appointment it may not be ready but when it's been a full WEEK and they tell you to wait for them to fill it! It's infuriating!! When a medication is on back order and you get an alert that it will be ready in two days.. make sure it's there in two days! If not then you call the patient. KEEP DRIVING!!!! This is not a joke! This has to be the worst Walmart I have ever shopped at, and sad to say I have been to a lot of them. When you walk in the store the first thing you realize is "oh no, I've made a mistake." The store is messy, unorganized and packed with people. The layout of the store is horrible, which makes it so that you bump into people at every turn. The cashiers here are slow and sloppy, and I have to say that after picking my 4th register, I found an employee who got people in and out. This Walmart is terrible. The employees and rude. It's always crowded and no one knows how to use manners. The store is supposed to stay open until 9 but the employees shut down the self checkout systems at 8ish to get out early, only to cause chaotic long lines in the regular lines.
