No cashiers on Black Friday. What is becoming of retail? Really wish I could give zero stars.

Standard Wal-Mart setup. Long lines while I was there and just a few cashiers. Isles were crowded too. Hard to find stuff.

However, I had to get a manager involved to return a t-shirt because I had worn it before finding it defective. It was sewn wrong and the collar just curled up. But how does one find this out without wearing it? They finally gave me a refund, but it shouldn't have even been a question.

I had an amazing experience with Wanda and Eric, which started with a woman on the floor above whose name I didn't think to grab, but she was on her last day of seasonal employment and was trying to make sure she communicated as much knowledge as possible, so that I could get a good deal. I wanted two overcoats on sale in different colors in 48L, but they weren't in the store. I found out from the nameless saint mentioned above that as long as it's not in a specific clearance section, you can do that. Eric was really helpful but limited by being relatively new, so Wanda took over and contacted the site and a number of stores, trying to get someone to send the sizes I needed. Ultimately, it was a timing situation where none of the locations that stated having that size actually had it, so I walked out with a 48R in one color, which will work alright for me, and direction to the site, where I was able to get the other color in 46L, which will be a little tighter around the shoulders but more generous to my arms, and for 75% of the price of the other coat (the site only had like 40R in the first color, which would be impossible to Tetris myself into). Yes, people are paid to help, but times are tough, and sometimes it's hard to have the energy to help when you're underpaid and customers are jerks. Three very kind and helpful people had my back yesterday, which made for an awesome experience.

It's is a good mall. I visited on the last Saturday of March 2026 and during the first weekend in May 2026 for business. PARKING -- There are alot of free parking options outside at the parking lot. SHOPPING -- Plenty of shops to choose from such as J.Crew, Victoria's Secrets, Yankee Candle, Kopper Popper (popcorn store), Apple (foe cell phones, headphones, and laptops), Auntie Anne's (pretzels), etc. FOOD -- There is a food court here that has about 5 different type of restaurants. I noticed Sbarro (pizza), Charley's Philly Steaks (Philly cheesesteak sandwiches), and Asian Chao (Chinese food). I've tried food from Asian Chao which was good - I got rice, some vegetables, and I believe chicken in a to-go plastic container. If you live in the area then visit Summit Mall. There are activities for children (a playground inside) which is probably what is keeping the mall alive considering that online shopping is on the rise. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 78/250 total reviews in 2026 - 919 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 13 May 2026

I came here looking for a piece of luggage before traveling back home to Florida, while I was looking for the luggage department I was really trying to location a member of the staff so they might provide me with a little direction and save myself some steps - that proved to be an impossible task. I finally found it on my own, only to find a completely confusing display of luggage with an indiscernible pricing schedule with prices that made me say "whoa". So I came to this brick and mortar store to buy a piece of luggage to take with me - it seems they would prefer you go online @ jcpenny.com to find a larger selection and discounted pricing - the selection here was not only poor, the prices were ridiculous e.g. the smallest 20" carry-on was priced between $250 - $450 so that's how I get rewarded for coming inside to shop, what a waste of my time. I exited the store without any interaction with the staff, I'm not insinuating bad customer service I'm saying there's a complete lack of customer service, I've been shopping at JC Penny most of my life, it an end of an era for me...

I shop here regularly, and I am always greeted kindly right when I walk through the door. This time, I went to Target and visited the mens' clothing department as well as the electronics and home goods departments. I didn't see any clothes or coats that I was interested in. I tried to find the latest expansion for World of Warcraft, but they didn't have it in stock. I also looked for a nice pan for our glass cooktop and they had a good selection, but the price was double that of a similar pan from Kohl's. It's nice that you can drink a Starbuck's latte while you shop, but I usually don't do that. I like Target because the stores are clean, easy to shop, and organized. I found a Roku soundbar for $129, which was kind of cool because it combines the power of a Roku plus a nice speaker. It also included the premium remote with voice control. They also had an over-the-air DVR for $35, which is great for cord cutters. I'll keep that product in mind. I needed to buy milk but I couldn't because I had to pick my daughter up and drive home, which took 45 minutes. The milk would have spoiled by the time I got home, so the milk had to wait. This store is nice and I'm sure I'll visit again soon.
