Stopped by Aldi's for some juice and hamburger buns. I'm used to paying $0.87 for a pack of 8 hamburger buns. Surprisingly, Aldi's had them for $0.65! I also bought some apple juice and grape juice. It costs about the same as Walmart, but has no added sugar. So the juice is less sweet. But since juice is naturally sweet, I actually liked it more. Aldi's carries the bare necessities. There are no frills, no bags, no boxes, and the selection is limited. The quality is very good and then there is the shopping cart thing. Since it's close to home and convenient, I will continue to shop here on occasion. read more

ALDI - a grocery store with a sign that says simply smart shopping - Grocery Near Me - Medina, Ohio

Not sure why anyone would go elsewhere for their main grocery shopping. Both locations in Medina are now updated and modernized. Every employee works extremely hard.....I've NEVER seen one slacking off or on their cell phone. They will always drop what they're doing to check on something for you or to help you. PROS: Low prices They keep up with trends: organic options & new products Generic comparisons to name brands Fresh produce In general very clean (store & bathrooms) Ads sent in mail Entrance & Exits organized (not so at Giant Eagle) CONS: Sometimes certain produce prices are not marked per pound (i.e., acorn squash) read more

Apparently the mask mandate doesn't apply if you are Amish. A very large group of Amish people came into the store and none of them wore masks. When questioned, the clerk just said there's nothing that they can do. Um, yes there is. They can turn them away at the door until they comply. The mandate is useless if large groups of people are allowed to bend the rules! Won't shop there again. read more

To Whom It May Concern; AldI Grocery Retailer; Store#18/Manager "Greg", 3444 Medina Rd, Medina, OH 44256: Visited the following store #18, 3444 Medina Rd, Medina, OH 44256 at approximately (7:39pm), Sunday, October 23, 2022. Upon entering, barely a couple of minutes passed that "..." begin to follow me. She immediately staged herself behind me (stocking/shifting) product. Having departed the entrance area where I was after she attempted to step in to where I stood shopping the dates and nuts I made my way to the other side at the end of that aisle in the middle...after some time in the area and having finished there I noticed more customers still arriving, at least 4-5 after me. For some reason, "..." decided to walk to where I was by then and while getting roma tomatoes she ubruptly proceded to exclaim that the store was closing at eight (it wasn't 8pm yet and customers had just recently passed her and started shopping). I thought it her acting angrily or something and continued picking the tomatoes, the last items. As I proceded on my way to register she followed me staging herself in front of me while making frowning facial expressions repeating the same thing. When that would happen I had to stop and pause until she stepped aside or away so that I would not come near or walk past her negative aggression directed at me. I finally managed to get to the front side towards the register area and for the third or fourth time by then she seemed very upset telling by the overtly aggressive tone of her voice and scowl expressions. (Personally, I literally was trying to make my way through to the register, however, she continued to stop or block the way for me and do that throughout, I didn't understand what more she wanted from me- run?). As it turned out I wasn't the last customer after all that! And while at the register and the only one in line I asked that customer who came behind me eventually whether she was told about the "store is closing" and it was not the case for her. Strangely Disturbing!! I'm requesting that "..." the ... (having found out) stay away from me next time I enter there. She apparently tried her best to intimidate me that day from the inception of my entering the store. And if it turns out that I arrive 15 minutes before closing the next time, I demand that she not follow me yelling outloud what I already know, about the store closing soon. Next time it happens I- and as it should be considered- harrassment as it is here now registered of what and how it happend. The repetition of stalking-like behaviour with the pattern of deliberate offensive targeting she perpetuated while essentially hurling her presence on me every step of the way upon entering the store that day was totally egregious. To reiterate, I hereby submit this record on the basis that "..." should be trained or encouraged to keep away from me specifically regarding similar circumstances. Next time it shall obviously be considered harassment or retaliation targeted specifically at me. We shopped at this location on 12/30/18 and checked out at 3:33 pm. We were very surprised about the lack of customer service skills at this location when checking out. Karen, the cashier, didn't greet us, literally threw our groceries into the cart and didn't thank us for our business. Our experience at other ALDI's has been very positive. read more

One of the worse shopping experience I have ever encountered. The Female manager was so rude that she started pulling people out of line that already loaded the grocery onto the conveyer belt to check out for no reasons. Then as I am standing their waiting to be rung up your one of the female staff started going on and on gossiping about employes and your manager started yelling other employes about someone break,etc. I never ever once experience a rude employes and managers ever during a shopping experience espically not from Aldi's. I believe the new location in Brunswich,OH is a lot more nicer then the Medina location. read more

Great store, extremely clean, always well stocked, employees are fast and efficient. I was looking for a An item that I had seen in the circular and it was sold out on the shelf. And employee actually took the time to go in the back and search their warehouse and came out with the item. Love the store! read more

Long time and frequent shopper. The staff is fast, efficient and focussed, but still take some time to interact with my kids and make them feel important. Lots of organic and healthy food choices at low prices, plus plenty of tasty unhealthy choices, also at low prices. Justin must have been having a bad day - I like the Brunswick Aldi just fine (closest to work), but the Medina is my favorite (closest to home). The brand-spanking new one in Wadsworth is shiny and awesome, but the staff at Medina is most awesome! read more

PROS: Great, low costs Fresh produce looks great Shelves stocked & neat Checkout lines fast Checkout clerks courteous & helpful Cleanliness of store is great Comparable products at super prices Ecology-minded - I had never shopped in an Aldi's until I was in Europe & a friend took me to one there. I was a convert. The Medina store is a gem. Parking is ample & close/available. Clerks always ask if I found what I needed, & once I didn't, & clerk knew exactly where product was to show me. The apples, carrotts, grapes, blueberries & strawberries are excellent. I have bought ground turkey & salmon also; both great. Their FIT & ACTIVE items are cost-conscious and taste wonderful. Their 'specials' of the week are interesting & value-minded (compared to other 'chains'). The checkout lines move swiftly and efficiently, while ecology minded customers pack their own selections into their cloth bags. I would highly recommend that any non-Aldi folks check it out for a time or two to 'see for yourself'. ~ read more
