For a store that charges such outlandish prices and sells what is supposedly top-of-the-line…read moremerchandise, you would think they would stand behind their products without hesitation. However, I had to get a manager involved to return a t-shirt because I had worn it before finding it defective. It was sewn wrong and the collar just curled up. But how does one find this out without wearing it? They finally gave me a refund, but it shouldn't have even been a question.

I had an amazing experience with Wanda and Eric, which started with a woman on the floor above whose name I didn't think to grab, but she was on her last day of seasonal employment and was trying to make sure she communicated as much knowledge as possible, so that I could get a good deal. I wanted two overcoats on sale in different colors in 48L, but they weren't in the store. I found out from the nameless saint mentioned above that as long as it's not in a specific clearance section, you can do that. Eric was really helpful but limited by being relatively new, so Wanda took over and contacted the site and a number of stores, trying to get someone to send the sizes I needed. Ultimately, it was a timing situation where none of the locations that stated having that size actually had it, so I walked out with a 48R in one color, which will work alright for me, and direction to the site, where I was able to get the other color in 46L, which will be a little tighter around the shoulders but more generous to my arms, and for 75% of the price of the other coat (the site only had like 40R in the first color, which would be impossible to Tetris myself into). Yes, people are paid to help, but times are tough, and sometimes it's hard to have the energy to help when you're underpaid and customers are jerks. Three very kind and helpful people had my back yesterday, which made for an awesome experience.

Summit Mall in Fairlawn, Ohio is located just outside of Akron. Given that some malls are declining…read morein numbers with businesses leaving the malls, Summit appears to be doing pretty well. It's is a good mall. I visited on the last Saturday of March 2026 and during the first weekend in May 2026 for business. PARKING -- There are alot of free parking options outside at the parking lot. SHOPPING -- Plenty of shops to choose from such as J.Crew, Victoria's Secrets, Yankee Candle, Kopper Popper (popcorn store), Apple (foe cell phones, headphones, and laptops), Auntie Anne's (pretzels), etc. FOOD -- There is a food court here that has about 5 different type of restaurants. I noticed Sbarro (pizza), Charley's Philly Steaks (Philly cheesesteak sandwiches), and Asian Chao (Chinese food). I've tried food from Asian Chao which was good - I got rice, some vegetables, and I believe chicken in a to-go plastic container. If you live in the area then visit Summit Mall. There are activities for children (a playground inside) which is probably what is keeping the mall alive considering that online shopping is on the rise. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 78/250 total reviews in 2026 - 919 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 13 May 2026

While my daughter is practicing volleyball, I have to find things to do nearby. So I go shopping,…read morebut I don't always buy things. This time, I went to Target and visited the mens' clothing department as well as the electronics and home goods departments. I didn't see any clothes or coats that I was interested in. I tried to find the latest expansion for World of Warcraft, but they didn't have it in stock. I also looked for a nice pan for our glass cooktop and they had a good selection, but the price was double that of a similar pan from Kohl's. It's nice that you can drink a Starbuck's latte while you shop, but I usually don't do that. I like Target because the stores are clean, easy to shop, and organized. I found a Roku soundbar for $129, which was kind of cool because it combines the power of a Roku plus a nice speaker. It also included the premium remote with voice control. They also had an over-the-air DVR for $35, which is great for cord cutters. I'll keep that product in mind. I needed to buy milk but I couldn't because I had to pick my daughter up and drive home, which took 45 minutes. The milk would have spoiled by the time I got home, so the milk had to wait. This store is nice and I'm sure I'll visit again soon.

I was able to get the items I needed. The cashier was friendly and helpful. My reason for three…read morestars is that there were only two cashiers and a small line for the self-checkout lanes. I also was hoping to find more food items here like at other Target locations. The personal care items were well-stocked, which was a plus. I was able to find an item that I couldn't find anywhere else.

They have a serious employee and managerial problem at this store. I needed some help in the garden…read morearea and there was no one to be found inside. I stepped outside and that area appears to be closed basically cause I didn't see any products really out there with the exception of one employee sitting there on his phone. I went to use the ladies restroom and the stall I happen to walk into was absolutely disgusting somebody was seriously rude in that bathroom. So I went over to Customer Service to let them know and I stood there for 10 minutes while two employees had interaction and talking and even after they were done talking The employee behind the counter who was actually working did not address me or say, can I help you or anything. The Employee, who is obviously on break on my side of the counter, looked at me like oh my God she isn't addressing you were helping you my thoughts exactly I thought we conveyed that with our eye contact. I asked to speak to a supervisor, but apparently there wasn't one available only a service coordinator. When I spoke to him about Xavier W sitting on his phone instead of working and they're paying for that and I told him about the bathroom he seemed completely not bothered by it and just went on with his regular tasks. Some heads need to spin at the store so they can have better customer service. The prices are actually quite high here and when that goes along with poor Customer Service, I see no reason to really ever come back to the store again. I want to add I ran into Danielle P and the ladies department because I needed some questions answered regarding clothing and dressing, rooms, etc. she was amazing. Super kind and friendly. I was shocked, however, to find out that they sell all these clothes and no dressing room.

Just know that going in. And the store needs to keep track and restock those items. If you want people to shop and those are your specials. We don't want to see bare shelves of the specials, that's why we came in. Produce they are OK. Some ok specials and lots of choices. Prices are mediocre at best. Some sales are good and no sale price are not so good. You have to know prices. I think their deli counter is really high. I don't get any deli. Meat counter has some good specials. Everything else is high. They have decent prices on eggs, milk, bread, and cheese. All the Meijer brands are an ok deal as well. Around the holidays they also have some good sales and their prices are good. Turkey, ham, hamburgers, hot dogs. All holidays through the year. They also have clothes, shoes, pet supplies. Again. Sales decent otherwise prices are just OK. You need to be aware and know how much so you can take advantage of the sales. Overall, it's better than Walmart in my opinion but just a hair better. Be aware and shop what you need. It's OK to be picky.

The layout of the store is pretty good but could feel crowded if there are lots of people inside. There is plenty of parking in front of the building- I've never had an issue with parking. The shop has a nice variety of decor, knickknacks, kitchenware, jewelry, collectibles, art books and lots of other stuff; they do not carry clothes, shoes and similar items. The thrift shop benefits the Summit Humane Society, so they have a nice selection of pet supplies and toys. I enjoy Happy Trails for the collectibles and art items. Over the years I have gotten a number of interesting items, recently I picked up a small carved Asian wood panel and a small replica Samuri helmet. I have also picked up pans, collectible pins and a backpack from Happy Trails. You can never be sure what they will have for sale, but they always have an interesting selection. They also have some really good high-end items most of which are up front near the register; they also usually have some nice antiques or vintage items. Overall prices are very reasonable especially because of the quality of the items they are offering. If you are in the area a stop at Happy Trails Thrift is well worth your time, they always have some fun items and great selection. Plus it is great to help support the Humane Society either by donating or buying something at the store. The staff at the store are wonderful and very friendly.
