FOR YOUR NATURAL OR RELAXED HAIR NEEDS! If you are visiting the area and staying in Fairlawn, you are in look because this store is located along Market street and very easy to find. I needed to pick up some hair supplies so I just had my husband drive in a particular direction and there it was! The store is cavernous and has everything you could possibly need when it comes to hair, products, implements, accessories, make-up, various hats and other related Items. It was like the Las Vegas of hair and beyond! As I walked in, I was warmly greeted. I needed some assistance and advice so a helpful employee as well as the manager assisted me with my purchases. I was able to park my husband in a chair while I ran around exploring everything. How many people have struggled to find their perfect eyeliner that meets their standards of quality + purpose + price + quality? I have tried so many different kinds and brands from all spectrum, and I can finally say that I have found my all time favorite eyeliner at Essence Beauty Mart! I was hesitant to share, but it is called, "High Precision Liquid Liner" by Kiss and is located at the front counter. It glides well on my eyelids and is easy to make both wings or without wings depending on the occasions it allows. They come in both dark brown and black. The reason I am writing this review on Essence Beauty Mart is because I have never seen this product anywhere but here. In addition, they carry many other high quality items that are indeed essential for all women and mens lifestyle! I have personally used their make up, make up brushes, hair staightener, hair clips, hair/body products, even socks and leggings! I heard the young guy that works here saying they have been opened for more than 20 years and are picky with what they carry. Well, based on my experience so far, I have not been disappointed with any of my purchases and will continue to get my daily essentials here. I would be selfish if I don't share this locations to others because I don't want the eyeliners and other good items to get sold out when I go back, but ya... this is a really good store that i think all people deserve to know! I have shopped at this store for over 10 yrs and I loved their products and sometimes their service. Needless to say, I have spent a great deal of money with this company. My last and final visit was a few months ago....I went in purchased a hairpiece and when I went out the door the little buzzer went off. Not understanding why and I went back in with my bag which had my own wig in it which they kept while following me out of the store after refusing to give me back my personal property you took a picture of me smiling as I walked to my car! Why did I smile because I am not a thief, but I was told that you have a picture of me in your store as a wig thief. If this is not removed immediately you will be contacted by my attorney! I would have to give this store a negative on ratings. I spend money in this store all the time and every time I am made to feel very uncomfortable when I go in this store , my last straw was today. I bought 24 dollars worth of makeup in this store and got home to open it and half of the make up product was stale. When I came to the store with my receipt they told me to contact Kiss (the name of the brand from the makeup that i bought) they told me because i opened it they would not return it. I'm am a black woman and the reason why I said that was because I told her that it was not showing up on my skin and she ( the cashier at the counter) said " well it shows up on mine" I told her it was because I was a different color then her and that it was stale and that they were not going to give me an exchange or my refund. No where in the store or on my receipt does it say that make up could not be exchange. They are very judge mental based on the color of your skin.I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN, and I am working on something for this!!!!!! While I did contact Kiss. read more
