The main room contains women's apparel, accessories (custom jewelry, socks, and gloves). The room to the left (as you enter) has more women's apparel and unisex graphic tees. Don't miss the room in the back, it contains kitchen necessities like soup mixes (what a concept!). I personally love soft fabrics and didn't find many of those in store. SERVICE: The owner of the store was very friendly. He has sharing a lot of stories about his merchandise which was nice. He mentioned that socks and gloves are popular sellers. I loved the store's atmosphere and merchandise. Unfortunately, nothing worked for me in particular. I wear plus size clothes (2X-3X) and the store carries up to size L. Even the gloves were too small on my hands. Any women with slimmer figures would love unique finds at this store like rose jeans and cozy sweaters.

Located on Richmond Road just South of Miles, Thriftique is easy to miss since it is a fairly nondescript building with a small sign, but it is worth your time to find. Inside you find a nice store stocked with high quality products. Thriftique is run by the National Council of Jewish Women so there is a bit of a Jewish flavor but they also generally get really good donations. The store what looks to be a good selection of women's clothing and a smaller selection of men's clothing. For the men's clothes it is a good place to find suits, shirts and shoes. Prices are a bit higher then many thrift stores, but you are getting what you pay for. On a recent visit they were having a closeout where some clothes were either $5 or $1, although it was a bit confusing over which items were in each price range. Thriftique has great decor pieces and miscellaneous. The mix is weighted towards good stuff and I really haven't seen any junk or items that are way overpriced. Where Thriftique really shines is that they have a large selection of excellent furniture. You will find a number of couches, chairs, tables and other large items. If you are looking for better items at discount prices Thriftique is well worth a stop, you may pay a bit more, but you do get value for what you pay. The money goes to a great cause. Give them a try.

This store is located in a large shopping plaza, plenty of parking in front. The store itself is well organized and breaks down about 50%/50% between clothing and home goods. Up front as you come in you will find some furniture and plenty of interesting pieces. There is usually one or two displays in the front windows. On the left side of the store you will find a nice selection of decor pieces, kitchenware and other assorted housewares. The right side of the store is women's clothes up front with men's clothes in the back. The clothes are generally of real high quality, the prices are a bit higher than most other stores, but if you go on Thursday the prices are 50% off. Each day of the week has a different discount deal. While I don't always find something I want, when I do it is usually very cool. I did find a small stained glass lamp in a Frank Llyod Wright style and a cool little carved stone figure. Overall the Brookpark store has some really nice products and you can find some great finds. Common Threads Brookpark is a very well organized and well stocked thrift store; it almost feels like you are not at a thrift store but you can definitely find some really great buys. They do a really nice job of presenting the products and keep the store well stocked and looking good. May not be the place to find the best values, but you can find some great buys.

They can figure out what will look good on you in the first 30 seconds and will only bring you things that do. Although I have found some gems here in years past. However, the owner does not convey good customer service or friendliness. Nor a good attitude. There was a frame that fell off the shelf because of how it was poorly displayed. Even though it wasn't my fault, I paid full price for the item's breakage ( without being asked to) and left ample money for the glass repair so there should not have been the attitude. I even bought a small item. This didn't placate her. She was more than rude about an accident that was clearly the vendors fault for poor merchandising and display practices. Maybe she was having a bad day, but I would not ever frequent the shop again because of this persons open hostility. She needs anger management classes.
