Without a doubt, Silver Eagle was the best discovery of the day. Definitely better than the Oktoberfest itself, but that's another story. Like so many antique shops; it's packed from floor to ceiling, musty-smelling, and filled with little nooks and crannies that house the most interesting things. There are several rooms, and we easily got lost for a couple of hours looking at all the cool, old treasures. They have a huge collection of local memorabilia from Akron and the surrounding areas. There are also lots of old postcards, appliance ads from the 30s - 60s (hello, Mad Men!), and LIFE magazines which were really fun to read! My favourite discovery was all of the old photographs -- they were really, really lovely. The owner seemed a little crochety, but he kept to himself. I found so many cool things in here that I wanted, but didn't have any cash on me -- I'm definitely going to have to come back.

If you collect bottles this place is your holy grail. The owner was once a huge bottle collector and knows a lot about Akron's dairy history. I love a vintage store with an owner full of knowledge. There's a pretty solid vintage appliance collection, baseball memorabilia, civil war relics, native american arrowheads, art, costume jewelry, old photographs, barn tools, antique metal toys, and even furniture (good luck getting it out). DO NOT HIRE THEM - YOU WILL BE SORRY - We hired Country Stove & Patio to redo our fireplace area…read more The contract was for $11,000 -12,000 (+) and they failed on their contract. The installed the wrong mantel, which was damaged from the manufacturer (told me who cares), they damaged our $4500 bookcases/cabinets, installed a piece of arched molding that was damaged by the manufacturer, failed to finish to crown molding and kept the key to our house and refused to return it. There is a whole lot more that I could go in to. In total, I had to pay $2,000 for repairs for the damages they caused and they would not work out a settlement with us so they put a lien on our house. We paid the amount owed because we could not take another loan out on our home unless we paid the lien off. They have yet to remove the lien and we paid them in full over 2 months ago. This company is unethical, does subpar work and charges top dollar for subpar work. The job took them 3 months to complete. I highly encourage you to not hire this company that does not care about their work or their customers. I paid $13,000 for a fireplace redo and my bookcases have issues because to make them look halfway decent, they had to be repainted. So in total, this job cost me almost $18,000. Shame on you Country Stove and Patio. I hope the word gets out as to how you do business. You are unethical in your business practices. DO NOT HIRE THEMD

And driving through Lowelville, and Giant Eagle in Poland, did a Google, and saw Kushner's was very close to our location. Went there, it was after 4pm on a weekday. Was suprised they were even open. Got GREAT personal service, the flowers we got had just been trimmed out. The garden spade and other tools I bought were great quality and very inexpensive. I will be back to buy more plants, and garden type stuff. They have solar lights, trelisses, fountains and pond care accessories. I very strongly reccomend anyone shop here for any gardening needs. And they have more than just plants. Landscaping material, stones bricks statues patio furniture etc. and prices on most items that beat walmart easily. Add in the quality of what they sell, and the honest interest the staff shows for the customer, and you have a place that is exactly what I want when doing something as important as buying plants and landscaping materials for the house, or for your apartment patio or deck. All price ranges for every pocketbook or need.

I had been looking for a television stand for a newly purchased 75 inch Samsung and was conflicted about where to buy one. After searching online for area furniture stores, Sedlak's caught my eye and I decided to pay them a visit at their Solon location. The store is inconspicuous from the street and more closely resembles a hotel or country club from the outside. Upon walking in I was greeted by a kind lady at a desk and she directed me down a hall to the back of the store. This place is absolutely massive! There are numerous sections, each of which specializes in different home furnishings. The variety is extensive and offers a vast assortment of items. I found the section that has televison stands and after roughly 15 minutes decided on an attractive wood and glass stand with cabinets. I found a sales clerk who was more than helpful and collected my information. She then advised that the stand would be delivered in one piece, which would spare me the time of having to assemble it. She advised that the delivery would be carried out within a week and guided me to the front to submit payment. One I submitted payment, a delivery date was agreed upon for the following Monday (4 days) and I left. Sedlak's contacted me the day prior to the scheduled delivery to confirm. On the day of the delivery, two Sedlak's professionals contacted me upon arrival and I let them in. They carefully setup the stand and were even kind enough to place the television on it. The stand is of inpeccable quality and the customer service was top tier! I am happy with my purchase and would definitely buy from them again!
