This is for the auto center; So I dropped my car off for a simple oil change. Pulled into the check-in line and got outta my car. Listened to the car check in next to me, before someone came and checked me in, and said it'd be an hour. Again, listened to the guy check in the new person that had pulled in while my wife was getting out. We left, and did some errands. TWO HOURS LATER, we come back and are told they haven't even started yet. We didn't have all day for terrible service so we just left. As I walked to my car there was a lady pulling up to ask about service time. I warned her that they were terrible and she should go elsewhere. The guy that was checking her in asked if I had had an appointment, which I didn't, and then proceeded to tell me everyone else did and that's why I had to wait so long.. I told the guy he was lying because I heard the people being checked in and he just said "have a good day". Awful service, poor business practices, and dishonesty.. there's a jiffy lube right next door. Go there and avoid this awful place. read more

Walmart Automotive Dept. Dallas, OR I've not had issues with the wait on service in Automotive in the past. Today, that changed. While there was only one person staffed and he informed me that it would be a bit longer than usual, I was the first car there at 7:45am. I arrived for an oil change and to have my tires rotated/balanced. It has been two hours and I've only just received the text stating that my service has started. After calling and speaking with Automotive to verify this, I was told that the oil change was still happening (nearly two hours after having dropped off my car) and that it would be at least another hour. I can't, in good faith, recommend this location. read more

Kim the manager is over the top nice! I had to do two returns and she made it so easy. I also out of respect for Walmart i mentioned that my son that worked there for 3 days is resigning. He has been so sick. Kim was so sweet. She said he's a sweet kid and she proceed to tell me what he had to do paperwork in order to resign. I was extremely disappointed with Ken Roberts in the Auto Department of the Dallas Oregon Walmart. After a two hour wait for a flat repair on a tire I had purchased from you all less than 6months ago, they said they cannot find the leak. I suggested it may be a manufacturer defect. They said no. I asked what IS a manufacturer defect and they said it MUST be visible damage. They also left my electric vehicle on while it was being serviced and drained the battery. It will cost me an additional 10 dollars so I can charge before I get home. I will never again chose Walmart auto and I will recommend all my clients and friends do the same. read more

As far as Walmarts go, this one is pretty much your run-of-the-mill store. But, it does a "hometown" feel. It's a smaller Walmart, so the selections are not always fabulous, but you can almost always find the things you need to stay alive. For the most part, the folks that work here are very nice and pretty helpful. If you come about the time that school let's out, it's kind of a mad house, but you'll probably run into half your neighborhood... so that can be fun! This time of year I love the Halloween isle, and next... Christmas!!! read more

I'm not sure why I needed to buy socks while I was in Dallas, but whatever. It is quirky and set up weird. Frustrating. That's my one word description for this particular Walmart. The employees are all very nice and helpful but it seems that about 50% of the time they are out of the item I need. I've heard others complain of the same thing. Perhaps new management is in order? It's very difficult to sell what you do not have. I've been there for the following items and various times and none was available: white out, dog bones, paint tape, bundt pan, toddler socks, toddler slippers, eraser, ok I could go on but this gives you an idea that these are everyday items that should never be MIA from any Walmart shelves. Oh Walmart...I have a love/hate relationship with the Dallas Walmart. I am so very glad we have one so we have the things we need. However when they started having food at this Walmart they didn't not increase the store size which makes navigating s nightmare. It is very difficult to go down aisles if there are more then your own cart in the aisle. The other bad thing about this store is they are always out of what I need. It seems like their stock is always low. Which makes it frustrating when you need something and have to go to a different store. That being said, the staff is great and helpful and the the store is clean. They also seem to be quick on the checkouts and quick to help with whatever is needed. read more

Walmart...known to treat their employees like experimental lab animals or prisoners. Most of the folks that work here are nice and you can't beat the prices on almost all items in Dallas. Parking lot is ample. Access is okay, though the main entrance has some Insurance Company signage blocking your view of oncoming traffic as you try to exit out onto Ellendale....just another example of bad planning in traffic control design in Dallas. While on that subject: The other most notable flaw is the stop signs on Ellendale at Levens (in front of Lyle Elementary School). There, the stop sign should be north and south and let the east and west traffic flow. Thousands of gallons of gas and corresponding brake usage are wasted there due to this huge mistake in planning. Yea, that makes a lot of sense....make 25 cars stop and go from the east and west for every 1 car heading north on Levens. I can't imagine living nearby and not shopping at Wally. We are looking forward to the conversion to a full grocery and give Safeway some competition. Since there is no Target/Kmart/etc...within 15 miles, this Walmart is hoppin!!! read more

This Walmart is kind of small. Maybe not the best Walmart. I do go here alot. They have everything you need, almost. The prices are the best in town. Most employees are very nice. It's quite a way to drive anywhere else. I would recommend them unless your willing drive! read more

Walmart manager gave poor customer satisfaction today. My daughter bought me a Regal Gift Card on Mother's Day for $25.00 & we couldn't get it to work. Finally realized why, it had never been "activated at the register". When we went to Walmart and spoke to Shyla, she said she couldnt help, then I asked if she could look up our receipt based on my daughters debit card. She finally did and questioned what else she bought. My daughter named off numerous items to prove what else she bought that fay for me. She then grabved the card to try and activate it. Then stated she couldnt. She said there was nothing she could do. I said, you can see that she bought this card on your screen and that it isnt activated, and asked if she could issue us a new one then and she said no. She said not without a receipt. I dont understand what happened to customer service. No apology foe not activating a gift card that was bought from your store. No in store credit given to buy a new one. No apology at all. Rude people. A learning experiwnce for my daughter to get a receipt and keep it stating the card was activated. I feel like Walmart Could Have and Should Have done better! read more

The customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The scan and go (retail workers) security is humorous. At times rude to customers and thinks they are police officers. The elderly woman that work in the morning as greeters and at the scan and go are nice or pleasant. The ones in the afternoon are 30 to 50 year old woman with acne looked like a say no to meth poster and aqua net 80's hair style.The jewelry department the day I went in took forever. A worker stalking clothes came by and paged them after 20 minutes of me not being waited on. ( she should be promoted) It took another 10 minutes for the 2 workers to come out of the back. I paid for the cheap $10 nose rings I bought at the jewelry counter and had my receipt my hand while I shopped for other items equaling about $75. My $10 jewelry purchase in the bag, comparison to my $75 purchase I had just my debit card in the chip reader for. Scan go retail worker Jennifer runs over says " you I need check bag yells it it out" to make a scene. Everyone looks over I need check in you bag now! Where's receipt ? It's in my hand make sure you didint take something , you paid for this right?" After she searched tiny bag was in my hand whole time purchase checked my $10 purchase, yet wasn't worried about the $75 one I paid for at scan go.I called and complained to the assistant manger. Like told the assist manger, " I'm sure I waited 30 min jewelry and had another worker page someone come back on the intercom; so I could get my lock pick out and rob the jewelry case for $10 cubic zirconia nose rings." ( buy the cheap ones sense there easy to loose) Then continued shopping and paid $75 purchase with my debit card. ( keep in mind I make double what she makes an hour. Yeah right! First off I don't steal. 2nd I have a Bachelors Degree in Business Management, working on a MBA so I know what good customer service is. I know when workers are trained well and a company is being properly managed. My response from the assistant manager to this treatment: We were really busy and the jewelry dept. should stapled the receipt to the bag. Well as manger you should train your workers better to follow procedures and deliver better customer service. read more

We often shop at the WalMart in Dallas Oregon and have gotten our oil changes done at the auto care center more than a few times. Several months ago we sent a family member there to have their oil changed. They were on a budget so this was something that they could work into the budget at WalMart prices. We were contacted by the family member later and made awear that at the time of the oil change on the 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid the transmission fluid was drained!!!!....The service Manager Jon made it right and fixed the issue and then did not charge for the oil change....fast forward to this last friday (9-28-18) and we take our 2003Volvo XC90 in for an oil change and fuel injection treatment....we paid the premium for Mobil 1 full synthetic oil and our total out the door for the oil and everything came to $81.95 I was not upset at the time however Sunday afternoon (9-30-18) the metal cap at the top rear of the engine block mysteriously popped out and oil was spraying all over the engine compartment. We fixed the problem at home after taking pictures of what had happened. We drove a different car back to the store to speak to the Service Manager Jon. We did not take the Volvo because at this point I do not want the service personel from the store trying to fix anything else on my car. During our conversation we heard how good the service department was and how they would not have had any reason to take that piece out of the engine. We heard how the Service Managers reputation was good and very important to him. Jon did say that he would review the cctv tapes from the service bays and, " if the fault was theirs it would result in someone loosing a job" however we had to leave the store after purcasing a replacement quart of oil. Now we have to wait until Wednesday (10-3-18) to hear back from Jon because there was only one person in the security department and then Jon has the next 2 days off. It was clear to both myself and my husband that customer service was not the top prority and that Jon was most interested in defending his department and his reputation. read more

I work for a non-profit and I called the Dallas Walmart and asked if they had a discount for non-profits because I needed to buy hygiene supplies to give to low income residents of Polk County who come into the office saying they need hygiene. The lady said they did not have a discount but that they could give me a $40 gift card. :) This was a great help! read more

I hope Rose E will read my comment, as I go specifically to the Dallas, Oregon Walmart just to get their fantastic Moneygrams. They have the lowest rate, here in Dallas. When their moneygram machine is down, then the girls behind the counter, readily offer a suggestion for me to try Safeway grocery, which they mentioned may be a few pennies more than what they offer at Walmart. Once a month, I drive into Dallas and head directly over to Walmart to purchase my moneygrams. I have never been turned down. The staff behind the counter has always been very polite. When any customer becomes upset, the staff immediately calls their manager and the problems are resolved within minutes. read more
