Would give zero stars if I could! Was at the coast for a trip, woke up with pink eye, had to have prescription called in to this pharmacy. Waited in a huge line, one pharmacy tech working to serve drive through and customers in the store. Prescription wasn't ready, had to come back, went through drive through, waited behind two cars for 30 min while cars piled up in line behind us, huge line in store with one woman ti help everyone. Obviously overworked and overwhelmed employees. This big business wants to have a severely understaffed crew and probably pay them barely over minimum wage. This is the new shit-bag unimproved Trump America for you! But you all wanted it, and you will get much more of it! If you can avoid this location to get your COVID-19 vaccination please do so. It appears they have one pharmacist Dispensing meds, doing consults and giving shots. This would be fine if the shot schedule was adjusted for this but it's not. And now he has disappeared for 30 plus minutes! Why have me make an online appointment ? The appointment said 215 , be there 15 min. early. We show up at 2 and the pharmacy is closed till 230 . We come back at 230 the pharmacist takes our info and says it'll be 5 min. We sat there for another 45 min. . ..... hire another tech or 2 .. before the entire town boycotts you . Worst Walgreens in history for prescriptions! We get messages or phone calls telling us that our medications are ready for pick-up but when we go in they somehow lost one of the prescriptions and the others weren't even filled... she tells us we'll have to come back later at 3 pm for all of them and when we show up at 5 pm she still has none filled or even found our missing one. This is a reoccurring issue with this Walgreens in Lincoln city, Oregon. We will be switching over immediately to Safeway across the street who have their shit together and I strongly encourage you to do the same because NOBODY should go days without medications that they need. Absolutely awful costumer service as well, you'd think if they wouldn't be able to fill them by 3 pm (which they said specifically come back at 3) they would at least make a call and tell you. I'm not surprised by the low rating already here. Driven by every day this week morning and afternoon to pick up my Rx. Each time with 20+ cars in line (they have closed inside window for pick ups). Today was my lucky day (only 9 cars in line) and I am out of my script so I pulled in... 50 minutes ago and there's still 5 cars ahead of me. Unbelievable. Understaffed is my bet but under managed for sure. It'd be helpful to have signs out saying how long you'd expect to wait from different spots in line... or have an employee make rounds. Heck even Dutch Bros has figured out how to make line ups more efficient - if only they could brew better coffee. With so much time to kill I'd think all the others in line would write equally angry reviews. Personally, I'm taking it out here and not on the unfortunate person I'll see at the window an hour from now. This will be the last time I ever use this business. Absolutely unbelievable. Received a message from Dr, that approval for a prescription was given the prior day to Walgreens. Walgreens automated help over phone told me they were still waiting for approval the following day. Waited 2hours and 20 minutes on hold with the pharmacy to speak to someone to find out why they show no approval was given 24 hours after it was given. I finally gave up waiting on hold after being told I was next in line for 1:30 hours of my 2:20 hours waiting. This is the second time in a row with the same prescription that Walgreens said they did not receive approval. The first time the Drs office had to send it 2 times. We waited an hour for a scheduled COVID test via the drive thru. By the time we got to the window, we could see that the lunch break had been until 2:30. We had a 2:15 appointment. What a fail Walgreens is - the website appointment scheduler and the location couldn't work out the time slots? Having just moved to Lincoln City, I've been establishing places in my new town to go for restocking daily use medicines and such. Walgreens generally has what one might need and a rewards program for additional savings - generally. Apparently honoring that program isn't part of basic customer service at this store. After waiting in line, I got to the cashier and told her I needed a new rewards card. Her response: *sigh* as she slumped over to get a card. It took a while as she struggled to make the process work, so a line started to form behind me again. Instead of asking me the information for the card, she turned the monitor toward me and pushed the keyboard at me and told me to do it. Okay, fine. I did it and it appeared the card was active. When she finally rang up the medication, it didn't reflect the sales price listed in the sale flyer or on the shelf tag (bogo 50% off) and I asked for the sale price as it was offered - a savings of $11. She said, "Well, it didn't ring up that way! Just buy one." I explained I just wanted the offer to be honored and she picked up a phone and called for leadership. I stood there, thinking a manager would confirm the offer and I'd be able to leave with the medication at the discounted price. Nope. She called for help to simply void the transaction without even trying to confirm or fix it. I wasted 20 minutes there with groceries in the car. As I realized she was just done with me, I took my new rewards card and threw it in the trash on the way out. Across the street, there's a Rite Aid and they happened to be having a similar sale, which they honored with a reward card, plus additional coupons and exceptional customer service all in less than 5 minutes. Lincoln City is a small town, but not too small for a new local to find a better place to take their business. read more

I for some reason forgot some of my soaps, and a few other items I wanted at home for our Valentine's get away so we stopped here. They had everything I wanted. I wanted a bath bomb, because I forgot mine at home, and Bath an Body Works was already closed. The one I found was pretty nice, and had a gentle enough scent. Loved the extra sparkle it had as well. This has to be the worst pharmacy I've ever had to deal with. Completely inept employees and horrible customer service. Prescription service says 1-2 day delivery, been two days and not even sent out yet! In fact it was sitting on the floor when I showed up. Called to check on why...first time disconnected. Second call, got hung up on. Would love to change pharmacy, but locked in for the year. Thought mail refills would be easier but not the case. If you need life saving meds, I would advise looking elsewhere. I will be writing a complaint to their corporate office as well as filing a complaint with the Oregon Pharmacy Board. Amazingly kind pharmacy staff while they were very busy. Each person behind the country was calm and competent in the face of a line of people. Fortunately, everyone was courteous. I use walgreen,s for my Medicare prescription drugs. Generally I find them to fine, if a usually long wait. However, sometimes the pharmacy staff seems a bit obtuse in dealing with anything unusual . they don't have enough pharmacists and employees to fill prescriptions and to wait on people to pick up their prescriptions. both from the drive up and inside the store itself. in fact they run on a light staff for the whole store it seems. i feel sorry for their manager with all the calls she must get. the blame is with their corporate officers. so i am going to look into mail order prescriptions or change pharmacies altogether. no wonder their pharmacy staff is rude and unkind at times. you can just imagine what they must go through everyday from people that have to put up with problems that corporate needs to solve. and the crowning blow is one sunday not one pharmacist showed up to work. unfortunately we can't boycott them as we have to get prescriptions filled from somewhere. again like i said earlier i am going to try mail order for my medicines. the only reason i go there is they have a drive up window but even that is getting bogged down. read more

Walgreen's are, by and large, the same no matter where you go. as a customer service manager, though, I am always looking at service to tell you where you should go. Bonnie worked in the cosmetics section, but helped us checkout all of our items as it was pretty busy. She was kind, and I liked that she seemingly took a personal interest in us as customers. She was friendly and sweet and a really great asset Walgreen's in general is reliable for lower cost items in many ways, and it is where I go for pharmacy items, and basic household needs (grocery shopping is scarce here, and while some things are cheaper, you'll need to go to a bigger box store for some major things. it is a good place for milk, coffee, toilet paper etc on your way home! or in this case, if you've forgotten something and are staying at the coast!) read more

I came in for an emergency prescription refill on vacation this morning, and ended up waiting for over an hour because they said they would fill a whole prescription because my insurance would cover it. I was given the time of 20 minutes or less, but I guess customer service does not matter to this Walgreens pharmacy. I just needed two pills and now I am still waiting while they drink their coffee. If I could give zero stars for this pharmacy I would. It is the only Walgreens in town and I am staying on the opposite side of town, so wanted to come when I was up here for errands. Everytime I have come here to fill a prescription they have no sense of urgency and take upwards of 20 minutes to even ask how they can help you. Then, you still have to wait for whatever it is.... Walgreens has no cashiers EVER! It seems employees must stick shelves therefore ignoring customers at the cashier station. Now the line has the people and worthless managers standing or walking by and never help the one cashier! Now, no matter how old you are they can't use common sense when asking for your drivers license to buy cigarettes. Ninety year olds have to show ID. Not just show it they want to hold it because corporate is threatening them with their jobs saying they are watching them. BS! If they watched they could see there is no customer service. By intimidating and harassing their employees they should be held accountable with labor and industries. Employees are not a!lowed to use common sense as I guess they can tell a teenager from a ninety year old and if they can't they are to stupid to be an employee!
