Overall this is a nice Target but I'm really disappointed in the accessibility that limited my shopping. The go backs by the dressing rooms had spilled out into the plus size section with 4 large overflowing carts. I could not move them to browse through the racks. I was able to speak with a manager in another section but nothing was done during the time I was there. This is unfortunately a common problem at Target due to the location of Plus Size racks. And I would bet poor sales in that section are common due to the horrible shopping experience. Do better Target. read more

Found a cheap $5 desk lamp by the front door. I asked the 3 associates at customer service if I can test it to see how bright the light shines, and if the bulb is in the unit itself. Nobody knew anything about the item, and one associate didn't even know where I found it (it's right in front of them by the door). We all resorted to guessing how it works. I went to electronics to see if they can test it for me if they had a USB block to plug it in. They were unwilling to help, and proceeded to continue their pointless conversation about nothing related to work. They clamor for a $15/hour wage but don't know anything about the product that is stocked by their front door, and would rather stand around and talk about BS rather than help a customer - typical Target associates. The service that I received at the Keizer, Oregon target store today was UNACCEPTABLE! My online order was not picked, it took the employees 30-45 minutes to look for my order item only to bring me the wrong one and tell me they can't find it. My wife was not happy with this situation, so she placed an online order for the SAME item which was ready within 15 minutes. Now I'm stuck looking bad to my wife and wasted time of my life for someone else's incompetence. All that the team lead could have done was offer me a $20 gift card and a refund, so now I'm bringing this issue up to the district manager. It was our first visit to this location. One would assume Because it's newer, it would be nicer than the Salem location. Perhaps the building and layout are, but every single isle was sparsely stocked with many things out of stock. We visited personal health, beauty, cleaning, grocery, Halloween / seasonal, and Men's. The same availability (or lack thereof) carried throughout. There were disorganized red carts throughout certain areas of the store without staff actively working them. We observed a customer ahead of us being told, "Whoopsie, I forgot to print a gift receipt. You'll have to go over there (pointed at customer service). I have only had good experiences at this Target (for the most part). I don't shop there much, but every time I have, I have had a great experience, except check-out (this is where my 1 star less comes in). My husband works for the Distribution Center, not the actual store, so he does receive an employee discount. I think it's kind of weird, that in order to get a discount, they can't just deduct it by a percentage. They have us buy a reloadable gift card and then use that toward the amount of our purchase. I think it's a hassle and it's just overall a waste of time. Other than that, great quality, customer service, and overall everything else is fine...store is clean, parking is ample, and always have an easy time finding a shopping cart without wonky wheels. read more

This place just wins with my family. It has everything my family wants. Sometimes it seems hard to get correct information and I don't want to be too pushy and ask staff to go back to find something as release dates advertise products being available. I'd give it another star if I did have a recent experience that was worthy. I am there more than I should be and so my expectations are higher. As I was standing in the self-checkout line which was about 30 people deep, I decided just for fun that since I had some free time ahead of me, I would count how many cash registers they had. They have twelve. Today, a Friday evening during rush hour, they had one cashier with a line of about 10 people with carts. Would you like to know how much Target profited in 2022? I still had some free time, the line ahead of me for their 4 self checkout machines was down to only about 25 now, so I googled it. Target profited roughly 120 BILLION dollars last year. That's right. Remember when you could barely afford groceries? Target was paying minimum wage to a skeleton crew while charging you three times as much as their goods were worth and made record profits... Still a loyal customer? I hope not, for your sake. So anyway, I get up to the thing about 5 minutes later and I notice that my ice cream I waited so long to buy had at some point in its recent past melted and oozed all over the container, before being refrozen and placed on the shelf for you, the consumer to purchase unwittingly. I looked around for the one employee in the store, but to no avail. Then I saw behind me the 40 or so people in line behind me staring back at me. So I placed the ice cream behind the computer screen. It should be safe there. read more

I love target! There is always a saying that if you go into Target and want to buy one thing you will leave with 20 things you didn't intend to buy. This target is so true to that. I'm not mad about it though! Whether you're shopping for clothes, food, or random items this target will have them. I've bought a few shirts from here and they hold up really well. I was afraid that they might be cheap and fall apart but they are really great! If you want to get a snack while shopping I suggest the popcorn and drink deal. The food court is nice and the have meal deals. I always remember coming here as a kid and my mom would get us a popcorn to share and a soda to drink! It's always a great thing to get. The staff is really friendly and helpful. During the busy times of the year (Black Friday/Christmas) they will have staff at each register and sometimes someone to guide you to which one to help with traffic. I think that's pretty sweet! It seems to stay clean. I went to a Target one time and the place looked so gross. This place seems to clean a lot which is awesome. The bathrooms are always clean and tidy. I enjoy coming to to this target. Staff are always friendly and around when you have a question. They don't approach you a billion times asking if you need help-which I like. The reason I'm not giving it a 5 is due to the hassle of being convinced to sign up for their cc. When I say no, you should drop it. I don't want/need it. I totally understand that you have to be persistent and keep asking, and I'm sure some people change their minds... so if you happen to read this. I WONT CHANGE MY MIND. Well just had my first real negative experience with Target. I'm a mom of 2 kids and have been a faithful client at target for 18 years. I looked online for a charcoal grill and found one within my price range. Sold "exclusively" at target. They were on sale and sold out with the exception of one at a store an hour away. This morning I got up and drive the hour to be told that they were clearanced out and they didn't have any. I was frustrated and decided to talk with the manager. She looks it up and says yes we have 1 in stock. Huh... Different story from the other person with a scanner. I go use the restroom and come back to o sorry we don't have any. She said sorry and I said I didn't believe her. She was shocked as I went on to tell her generally companies make things right when they've messed up. She just said O. I wish that's where it stopped. I then called customer service the lady (not in this country and reading off a script) just listened then went on to tell me that it was my fault because the online isn't always accurate and basically I should've done more research and that it says on the website that online isn't accurate. I couldn't find that. But she's not blaming it on me and sending a $10 gift card. Keep your money Target. So disappointed! read more

Excellent customer service by a beautiful young lady named Katina. She asked me if I was in need of help looking for an item. I told her I had been coming in the last several days looking for distilled water I had needed to fill my CPAP machine, but the shelves remained bare as I may have missed out on a sale or the replenishment every time. She went out of her way to contact the grocery department in search of the distilled water I desperately needed, as she still managed to put away the items she was returning back to their locations while waiting for a response from the department. When word came back that there wasn't any she proceeded to the back to check, as she had previously looked on her phone that there was actual inventory. She received a last minute response there was a pallet in the back. Moments later she emerged from the back with two jugs of water for me. Katina is above the words excellence and perseverance as she kept a smile the whole time. This is just one of the reasons Target is my home and go-to-place for one-stop shopping read more

My family loves target and we have been loyal customers for as long as I could remember. One of our family members even worked as assistant manager for corporate. I am sure he would have handle the situation that I encountered differently tonight. I called to check if a limited edition item was in stock at the electronics and I was told that there was one remaining. The associate said he would put a hold with my name. I told him I will be there to pick it up after work. I arrived an hour before closing at the Target in Keizer Station and they happened to have sold my item to another customer 20 minutes before me. The very kind representative, who was helping me out called his manager Brad over. The manager was defensive and instead of the thought of apologizing first thing, he decided to push the blame. He said there was only the 3 of them at the electronics and none of them knew anything about the hold. When I showed them the number (503) 856-0601 I called in my phone log at 5:53 pm, he still denied it and said he would do nothing. All I wanted was the individual who answered at the time to take responsibility and apologize. I knew there was nothing they could do about the item being sold and there won't be another in the Salem-Keizer area. What really upset me was when Brad abruptly said sorry without being sincere and looking angry at the same time. I thought the situation was F up and that is exactly what I said, but not to swear at anyone. Brad immediately overreacted, telling mom and I to get out and he was going to call security to escort us. I was shocked and very disappointed, but did apologize for my language. He really didn't have to escalate the situation. This was the worst experience, to be treated as if I was at fault and some criminal who needed strict security. You did a good job at frightening my mom who is 60 and can't understand English very well. You really didn't have to threaten us to get out because we feel uncomfortable enough to leave on our own. As a manager at such a big department store, I don't think Brad handled the situation very well and I felt disrespected. I don't understand why he is in retail because clearly he doesn't know how to handle customer complaints or create a proper system to prevent mistakes. He was only good at being irresponsible and trying to cover up, catalyst of bad vibes, then threatening to escort his poor customers out when frustrated. I want to let him know this is unacceptable. I have worked in retail for many years and also been a manager myself. This is not how I want to be treated or treat customers. Forgot to add.. WARNING: Do not swear anytime while shopping at the Keizer Target or you will be escorted by security. Assuming that is a policy and considered a crime since the Manager threaten to do so. Me: "This is F-up." (referring to the situation above) Brad (Manager at Target): "Did you just swear in my store? Get out or I'm calling security." June 20th came into the store to get a few things while I was walking around I found the Oil of Olay Sticks that had yellow stickers below the product one kind was 50% off and the other was 33% off. When the gal was ringing my purchases up, I noticed that they were ringing up full price. I told her about the yellow stickers so she called some guy over and he took whatever it is that they check prices with and informed me that they were ringing up their normal price I tried to explain to him about the yellow stickers but he had zero tolerance for what I was saying. I told him that he needed to remove the stickers and he just walked off. What an ass, I do not know if he is in charge I would certainly hope not and if he is whoever did put this ass in charge needs a wake up call. This not how you treat customers no matter what is going on. This guy should be taking out trash not dealing with people I would give this store a zero star but the cashier was very nice. read more

I frequent this store and one other in the vicinity. It's kept pretty clean and organized and I never have a hard time finding an employee. Sometimes it's hard to find one who knows much, but they have radios and call and find out for me. My one beef? I went looking for something, found a display item on the shelf, but no tag for them and no more in the box. When I asked the first guy i saw, he looked for me on his handy-dandy computer thingy. Nope, none. They've been discontinued. Why, I ask it is still on the display if they don't carry them anymore? Because, he says, the display requirements don't always match up with what they have anymore. Lame. But overall, I love this store and this location! read more

My first visit to this store was on Black Friday, but not too early. The store appeared clean and organized for such a busy shopping day. We found what we needed rather quickly and then were un-greeted by a cashier that obviously didn't want to be there. She made little or no eye contact and was staring out at nothing while waiting for my wife to get her money out. As we left I think I heard a barely audible "thank you"...but still no eye contact or smile. This kind of service doesn't make me want to come back. read more

This is the best Target in Salem/Keizer. It's clean inside and the customer service is good. Target has better prices than other grocery stores in Keizer. They always have a good amount of registers open. It has a Starbucks in it which is a plus. One downfall is that some of the employees look like they haven't showered for days. I think it would be nice to have cup holders in the carts too (just an idea, this doesn't affect my rating). read more

The checkout time is far too long. There are plenty of employees standing around the registers but only a couple will actually be cashiering. In the self checkout, even if you ask for help first, the only employee will help everyone else on their way to you. When there are other stores in my area that offer same products, better selection and prompt customer service there is no reason for me to shop here again. read more

I'd give zero stars if I could. Horrible customer service. My infant son spit up a few times and my mother in law took this to mean he had a milk allergy and spent nearly $80 on fancy formula even though my son does just fine on costco brand formula. I tried to return the formula the mil bought, I just wanted store credit and thought I could get him some diapers or clothes instead. The cashier at customer service said I could only exchange it for another brand of formula. But they don't sell costco brand which is what he drinks. I read their return/exchange policy and it doesn't say I have to exchange for the same type of product but she refused because I don't have the same payment method the mil used even though I just wanted store credit. When I asked to talk to a supervisor she refused saying she was as close to a supervisor I would get. So now I'm stuck with 2 cans of very expensive formula I don't need. No I won't be shopping there anymore. read more

I went to this Target today to make a return. The return desk at this Target is also a checkout. There was one guy working at the counter and he had, what I felt, was an excessive conversation about beer with lady checking out in front of me. The next customer was also checking out and had a cart full of bridal gifts for multiple bridal registries. All separate transactions while I wait to make one return. The employee had tunnel vision and, of course, didn't notice me. No other worker walked over to handle my return. This is a reflection of poor training and management.
