That should have been my first indication to turn around and leave, but I 'halted' and waited behind the barrier for my turn to enter. No luck finding the shoes I wanted, what I did find was an absolute mess. Everywhere I turned it was as if I entered some hellscape posing as a store. I was told they weren't the 'coat factory' any more & they only had a few coats left on the clearance rack. He seemed to be in charge of things by the way he spoke (manager maybe) but he took me over to where the coats were. I found one I liked for a really good price, but it had a little damage. I thought if I could find the manager again maybe he would give me a discount. When I did find him he offered a 50% discount (though I couldn't return it). I agreed & now I am a very happy customer. That dreaded warning light had been on in my car for 400 miles, and I finally took the time off to…read moretake care of it. I pulled around to the auto center and went inside to inquire about an oil change. There's a limited staff, so nobody was at the desk, so I waited a bit before someone acknowledged me. Finally, I was directed to pull my car up in the designated area outside the garage and someone would come write up a work order. I didn't wait long, but was glad I got there when I did because I was told I would be the last customer. I got there at 3:30 and they close at 5:00, so plan accordingly. I was told it would be done in about an hour and a half and opted in for text updates when given the option. What to do for an hour and a half?! I walked next door to Lowes and browsed a bit before I inadvertently pocket dialed a friend I hadn't spoken to in a while. We had a great conversation over face-time for about 45 minutes. Then I checked out the plants, and before long, got a text that my car was being worked on. I headed back and played solitaire on my phone in the waiting area until my car was done. In total, my full synthetic oil change was $55, a deal compared to other 'quick' oil change spots around town charging upwards of $99. They weren't fast, but they were professional and got the job done. With inflation affecting everything these days, I look for savings where I can get it.

Their prices have been surprisingly good and today my 2 year old had a blast! The staff was so nice and didn't mind her running around. She was late to walking, being a preemie and all so any chance to run free is nice haha they loved her and some one from the bakery department came and told us she can have a free cookie!!!! Which she was so happy about and said it was yummy. And another staff member came up just to say hi to the babies which was really nice. Everyone was friendly but not in a fake way or overbearing way. The pharmacy was amazing too. Ive been having issues with my last pharmacy and so to walk in and have it be so easy was really appreciated!!! Thank you guys for helping us start this summer right :) :) :) ​

1 Star for Walmart, but 5 Stars for an Incredible Manager! I…read moream generally not a fan of Walmart, and the store itself earns a 1-star rating at best. However, I am leaving this review specifically to recognize the incredible manager who went above and beyond to help me. On Thursday, June 4th, around mid-morning, I went to this location to return a chair I ordered online from Walmart that ended up being too small for my daughter. At the customer service counter, the guy told me that they couldn't accept the return unless the chair was completely disassembled and boxed up. I laughed and told the guy.."your kidding, right?" The problem was, I had already tried to take it apart at home, but a dumb locking mechanism made it impossible for me to separate the pieces. The guy at the counter didn't laugh nor did he care about my problem. He told me to go speak with the manager, who happened to be nearby filling out paperwork at a register. I went over to talk to him and explained the situation, he didn't hesitate to help. He actually went to the back, grabbed a screwdriver, and personally went to work on the chair. Even for him, it wasn't easy. He had a tough time getting the mechanism to release, but he eventually got it apart. To top it off, he even helped me box the whole thing up. I thanked him over and over again. I didn't catch his name, but he is a truly great guy who deserves recognition. Give this man a raise, or better yet, someone offer him a better job. He has a level of dedication and work ethic that goes way beyond what you normally expect to find here! Thank you again Mr. Manager.

The regular theme at any Bi-Mart is maximizing the value for all the products they carry, which is a fancy way of simply noting that everything is supposedly affordable. And for the most part, things are definitely on the cheaper end. I've long forgotten that Bi-Mart is also a membership driven company, which in turn means additional savings for anyone who is a member. How much does that cost? A lifetime membership is $5. Yes, really. I'm usually in here scouring for TJ Maxx type stuff -- which revolves around home furnishings and gifts. I've never been too thrilled about the lines of clothing they feature or the electronics they have on display. I personally think they excel in hardware and health care, which for the latter is kind of nice if one has a prescription filled here. I've been able to find some really quality power tools and specific gadgets for everything from lawn & garden to electrical stuff. While I appreciate the antiquated charm of the place (it really hasn't updated much, or it appears to look like a store from decades before), I can't help but say they could use a better staff around here. I haven't found much help in locating certain items and I find that the attitude of many employees here is lacking. I usually end up calling while I'm in the store to see if they carry something and where I can find it. Their parking lot is huge and it's never too crowded here. They do have sales of course all the time, but even those targeted savings aren't enough to get a Black Friday type crowd in here. I would tend to call that a good thing.

The area leading to the registers is so picked over. The linen section was similar, with more empty space than full. Prices are difficult to find, if you do find something you want. And everything was in disarray. There was no store pride evident at all. I did have a very nice interaction with the cashier that accepted my return. Perhaps she was the same person mentioned in an earlier review, but my experience was much different. I have hope that Kohl's can turn it around and once again become one of my favorite places to shop.
