This closeout grocery store piqued my interest with their ad for five dozen eggs for $6.99. When I…read morefinally made a trip to the area, it was a no-brainer that I had to make a stop. The relatively small size of the location is deceiving, as the selection is vast. They have condiments, dressings, and sauces galore - many ethnic and imports. Frozen goods included lobster ravioli and gourmet treats. Refrigerated goods include enough cheeses for an epic charcuterie, eggs, and dairy. Their snack aisle is equally diverse; with asian crackers, Italian cookies, chips and snacks of all types, and enough candy to fill the best Easter baskets. Their household selection was nothing to rave about, but they did have an interesting variety of supplements and health and beauty products. If all that isn't enough, they also have their own in-house bakery featuring fresh loaves of bread and cookies. This grocer is definitely worth a stop if you appreciate a deal!

I sent 2 of my kids to the same store I send them to for candy all the time. It's literally right…read moreby our house, and we are always talking to the workers. We literally shop there every single day, which is why today's events were so crazy. My 11 year old came home with her younger sister after being gone maybe 15 minutes to tell me that when they were in the store the worker accused her of stealing because 2 random other shoppers told her they were. My daughter (who is 11) while looking for her money had placed the item within her bag so her hands could be free. She's 11. And this overzealous employee searched my child's bag without a parent there, threatening to call the cops if they came back. My child came back traumatized because she was going to pay for the single candy item. Also, what child do you know that shoplifts and immediately goes and tells their parent. So I went there, with my kid, who a minimum wage retail worker thought was acceptable to search over what she presumed to be shoplifting, prior to any merchandise EVER leaving the store. I was met with this. I have an entire video of this lady screaming about how she swears my kids were stealing based off what 2 random customers said. No one ever explained to me though why my child's bag was searched. She admitted it when I was there, and stated it's company policy to lock the door on children who they suspect shoplifting. At this point my child's rights matter substantially more than a piece of candy. I'll be making further complaints to boli and the bbb.

The sign outside said "20 samosas for $30". I figured I would get about 25 samosas, which is $40 worth, according to their advertised price. But no. I was given 20 samosas. The rude man at the cash register proceeded to tell me that I could not use two "coupons" at the same time. Nowhere in the store or outside was this "20 samosas for $30" ever advertised as a coupon. I told him this, and he continued to insist that I was wrong. Another kind customer in line next to me agreed with my argument and refused to buy the products she had been planning on purchasing. But the man did not budge... This employee then proceeded to walk swiftly to the back of his store and pick up a large ladder, which he then carried out the door and up to the sign outside his store. He took down the letters spelling out this "coupon" and yelled at me about how I was "the only one he'd had a problem with ever about this deal." Maybe more people should learn to do math. Whatever happened to "The customer is always right."?
