It's on the corner, as the name states and easy to get in and out of. What makes this place special and worth mentioning is the wonderful lady that works the register. She could likely be the owner, but I've never taken the time to have an in depth conversation with her. From the time you walk in to when you exit, she is gabbing & babbling away about anything & everything and somehow making the whole experience very enjoyable. We find ourselves talking about her for many minutes/mile after leaving. Her personality is positively contagious. For me, these types of people/workers/characters can make or break an experience for the consumer, whether it's dining out, shopping or I guess even at a convenient store. But I DO have a problem with pumps that can take cards, but don't, with no attendants, forcing you to walk quite a ways across a lot into another building out of view of your car and wait in line. When you go to insert your card you're met with a little screen that says "Machine not currently taking cards. Please pay inside" or something like that. Even though the machine has a card reader, and I've used it before in the past under previous ownership. So OK, cool no problem. My legs aren't broken. I'll just walk inside. Now I have to wait in line at least 10 minutes behind people humming and hawing at what they want out of the deli case. Or to stare blankly at the menu as if they've never seen or heard of chicken on a stick before. I do finally get up there. I hand the kid my card. "How's it going? I'd like some gas. Fill on pump three please" He asks me how much? I say "a fill, I want to fill it up please" Then he asked me, well do you know like what dollar amount that's gonna be?. Really man? No, that's kind of what you're supposed to tell me after the car has been filled up. So they don't have the technology to put an authorization on my card, and then charge me what the total is when I'm done pumping the gas? Am I the only person that ever comes in and asks them to fill it up? Really? I say "Just give me $10" Only $10? "Yes please, thanks." (Just give me enough to get up the road to someplace that knows how gas stations are supposed to work.)

We decided to stop in to see what kind of shop it was and we were pleasantly surprised to find that there was a deli, a convenience store and a little grocery section. It's also spotlessly clean. This store is open until 10:00 p.m. AND on holidays!!! Who else does that in Sisters? Drew, the owner, is really friendly and nice and he has lived in Sisters forever. We look forward to having some lunches and buying emergency supplies here. I think this store would get a ton of business if it had better signage.
