Visiting this shop is fun just for seeing the lovely old historic home, but they also have a lot of very good merchandise, from jewelry to kitchen items and knick-knacks to clothing, including designer labels. Everything is very fairly priced, and marked down every week or so, if you're willing to take the gamble and wait for markdowns. It is run by volunteers and provides income for a non-profit, so on top of getting good bargains in a very fun shopping environment, and reusing and recycling perfectly good items, you are also contributing to a worthy cause. It is affiliated with Encore Consignment, the sister shop to Daue. Encore carries furniture, books, artwork, etc. also at very fair prices, also generating income for the same non-profit, and also using the same periodic markdown on prices, also staffed by volunteers, and just a block or so away. Definitely recommend.

This is the worst experience I have ever had. First, we drove over an hour an a half to get to this…read moreplace since it was recommended to us. When we walked in, nobody cared that we were there. We had to hunt someone down to even ask a question. We researched what we wanted since their stock was limited. They told us they had it in stock in their warehouse in Washington and that I would get it in November because shipping was taking longer than normal since Covid. Mind you, we purchased a table, bench and chairs 9-5-2022. We told them what a horrible experience we had with shipping and delivery from Home Depot and they guaranteed us that they had never had that problem with "their" drivers. They asked us to call and check-in on our order in November, if not yet delivered. I called in to check on it and now the chairs were on backorder until February. What?! They made sure it was in stock in the warehouse before I purchased so why would it now NOT be there?! Then, I told them to just deliver the table and bench. They said it would take a week for the warehouse to deliver it down to them and then they deliver to us (not sure why not direct to us). This is literally from no farther than Seattle to Salem. Heck, I'd pick it up directly myself at this point. Two MORE weeks later and it is now end of November and I called to get yet another status. 'Brenda' tells me that she can only say what they tell her and the warehouse has just not brought it down. Why I asked? Nobody knows!! No accountability whatsoever. I asked if she could get a different contractor, I even had recommendations, and she said their company will not do that. I asked if they held their drivers accountable for anything, she said they are at the mercy of short staffed drivers. I literally had professional self-employed, bonded, drivers that could do this for them. She was just annoyed and said how she couldn't sit there and deal with me and offered me a refund. I said I wanted what I paid for! I have waited this long, it shouldn't be much longer, right? Wrong! She gave absolutely no solution, hope, time frame, nothing! Being this was the 3rd time I called in, and the other two men didn't even call me back, I assumed everything was as they said. Wrong again! Their products are nice but WAY PRICEY and any customer should not be treated this way. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND unless they have it in the showroom. BRING YOUR OWN PICKUP!! I'll update post if anything changes but I and my family may be eating off my floor for Christmas thanks to these people.

If you don't live in Salem, OR don't buy from them. In…read moresummary: I waited 3 months. I was forgotten about the day of my delivery. Had to demand a refund for them to not reschedule my delivery and make it "work". My new floor was damaged. Had to call them about that, spoke to Bobette. Was told that they would fix my floors, and "Alex" would reach out. It's been 2 weeks and no one has called me or left a voicemail. The reason I say don't buy from them unless you live is Salem is because I live 45 minutes away from my door to their door and that was "too far away". After they got my couch it stayed at their warehouse for 5 more weeks. They didn't care about delivering it me, they didn't care about my home. Kelly's furniture is unethical, unprofessional and disrespectful. Here is the full narrative if you care to know more. In October of 2024 my wife and I purchased our Stanton sectional from Kelly's Furniture. We paid cash up front. It was communicated to us that it would take six to eight weeks before the sectional would be ready for delivery. All this is understandable. My issues began on exacting eight weeks from my purchased date. I called Kelly's Furniture to ask for an update. I was told that the couch just arrived. At that it "needed to be prepped" before it could be delivered. That being said, it missed the delivery window. That there is only a one time a month that Kelly's Furniture delivers to the "Coast". I live 45 minutes from Kelly's Furniture. I was told that I would have to wait five more weeks until delivery on January 14th, 2025. After the Holidays on January 7th, 2025 I called Kelly's Furniture to confirm that the delivery date was the 14th. Jake, who I would have more conversation later, informed me that I would get a text message and a phone call on January 13th, 2025. On that Monday, 01/13/2025, I received a text message that confirmed my delivery time: 8:45 to 11:45. I then got a phone call that told me to "press one" to confirm my delivery time. I then, pressed one. On January 14th, 2025 I waited until 11:00 to call Kelly's Furniture. Jake answered. After much confusion and with Jake having to call me back. I was told that the sectional was never put on the truck and that we would have to reschedule. Now I don't like having to be this kind of person, how I felt that I jumped through every hoop that Kelly's told me that I had to. I then triple check to make sure that the sectional would be delivered to my house that day. I told Jake that I will not be rescheduling, and I will be asking for a refund if the sectional isn't delivered to my house today. Jake then told me that he would have to call me back again. When Jake called me back, I was told that a team would be bring the sectional to my home between 2:00pm and 2:30pm. I said that I would be in a work meeting and that the front door was unlocked, and they could go through the garage door if they needed to. After my meeting I drove home at 3:00pm, expecting a sectional in my living room. Unfortunately, there was no sectional in my home. I waited until 3:30pm to call Kelly's Furniture for an update. This meaning I now wanted to be home when they arrived, and I wanted to know where my sectional was. There was no answer, I left a voicemail. I then had to return to work. At 4:00pm I called again, no answer. I left a voicemail. It was started to feel like my calls had been blocked. I called again at 4:30pm. No answer. I had my wife call and Jake immediately answered. There is your proof. I went home at 5:00pm and not expecting a sectional in my home I was surprised to see one. But the excitement was short lived when I looked down in front of the doorway to see a gash in my floor. This home is brand new I'm the first owner. My sock caught on the floor as if a nail was sticking up. I had to, with a razor, shave the top off so it was flat all along the scrap. And push down a corner that was delaminating. Still no response from Kelly's Furniture on the repair.
