He got to Brakes Plus and was told by an employee that it was a "difficult" light to install so they'd need to put the car up on the lift, possibly need to take the bumper off, and it would cost 100.00. He couldn't afford it, declined, and tried Wal-Mart across the street. He asked the same thing to the employee at Wal-Mart and in a matter of minutes the headlight was installed. Free of charge. How unfortunate that anyone at Brakes Plus would try and take advantage of a young man. We will never go back there again. I'd give zero stars if that was an option.

Extremely Frustrating - Refusing to Take Responsibility for Alignment…read more I took my 2010 Mazda 3 to Firestone for an alignment, and since then, my car has been pulling and yanking dangerously. When I spoke to the store manager about it, he immediately said it wasn't the alignment and claimed the problem was my "steering pump." My car doesn't even have a steering pump, so that explanation makes no sense. I called Firestone corporate to explain the situation, hoping they would at least have the store inspect my car to figure out what's going on, but the store still refuses to look at it without charging me. I paid $145 for an alignment that has caused issues, and now I'm being told I have to pay again just to have them check their own work. This has been incredibly frustrating. I expected professional service and accountability, but instead, I'm met with incorrect information and unwillingness to address a clear problem caused by their service. This is not just poor customer service -- it's unsafe. I expected Firestone to stand behind their work, but instead, I'm left with a dangerous car and no support.

WORST EXPERIENCE! 2 weeks after getting a "premium complete…read morerear break service" which was extra on top of the cost of rotors and breaks, I discovered my parking breaks did not work. (My trucks parking breaks would need adjusted to new rotors). I was told to bring it in and they would take a look. I was then quoted a price for parts AND labor for new parking breaks. I then spoke with a manager as one would assume this is covered in a COMPLETE rear break service that was already paid for. Well, it should be relabeled as partial break service as 3 hours later and not hearing back from the manager I called and he informed me that his regional manager said all he could do to make it right was cover the labor. I asked how much just the parts would be and it was more than what they originally quoted me to begin with!! The only "good" thing about this was I later discovered the break job they did do, had hardware incorrectly installed. Which would have created issues down the road! I would not trust them!!!!

We chose Christian Brothers because they present themselves as a faith-based company, and we…read moreexpected honesty, integrity, and transparency. Unfortunately, our experience was the opposite. We brought our minivan in to have the air conditioning repaired. The first repair was quoted at approximately $1,000. The AC worked for only about a week before failing again. We returned, and they diagnosed a different issue and charged an additional $1,300. Again, the repair lasted only about a week. Now they are telling us there is a third, different problem that will cost another $3,300 to repair. Had we been accurately informed from the beginning that repairing the AC could ultimately cost more than $5,000, we never would have authorized the initial repairs. Despite two unsuccessful repair attempts and thousands of dollars spent, the original problem remains unresolved. We asked them to consider a refund or other resolution, but they declined. To make matters worse, because our van was unusable, we had to rent another vehicle for an out-of-state family reunion, adding even more unexpected expense. I understand that diagnosing automotive problems can be difficult, but I expect a repair shop to stand behind its work and work toward a fair resolution when repeated diagnoses and repairs fail to fix the problem. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this business.

I called up there to ask what their return policy is, and he could not give a clear answer. I asked if this is his policy or corporate policy and he would not answer my question. Finally, he agreed to letting us come back and purchasing the part and then return if it doesn't work. We won't be returning because for all we know he could change his mind again and not let us return. He probably shouldn't be managing a team if this is how he treats customers.
