Don't even bother coming to this location for any type of car service. Poor Customer Service. Lack of communication and the service is super slow. You will be here all day waiting on your car to get service. Very disappointed. It took me 4 1/2 hours just to get new tires on my car. After, waiting the first 2 hours I was told that they didn't have my tire sizes. Until, one kind employee went to check and 3 tires magical appeared. Just very unprofessional. Now I have to go back and get the other tire put on my car. Only to find out that one of the three tires was not even put on my car. I tried to give this auto service center a chance despite the low rating. I wish I would have gone with my gut. My appointment was a 4pm. Apparently I was paged over the store system for 30 min. Why someone didn't just call my cell?? I don't know. It's loud and busy in this store. Nobody can hear that intercom. I finally get around to getting everything situated, then they page me again and say they can't service my car because they close at 5. I should have been serviced regardless especially because I had an appointment. I only came here to save money in which I ended up wasting time, which is worse in my opinion. read more

Brought in my VW to get a conventional oil change only to get turned down because they don't offer oil change to Luxury cars such as VW, BMW, Mercedes, etc. The main problem was the customer service. I literally went to the front desk, stood there for good 5 mins while 3 guys were talking to each other and 2 guys walked by without acknowledging me. Even worse was that I can see the mechanics talking and goofing around every minute. Would not recommend here. read more

I just wanted to take the time to thank Asia and team at the Walmart in Forest Park on Roosevelt and des plaines. Asia is an outstanding customer service agent. She made sure that my car was serviced, checked the tire size for me, greet me with a smile and help others as well. I truly appreciate her outstanding attention to detail. She works in the Auto Service section of Walmart. Please relay this message. Also the mechanics who worked on my car did a stellar job and their professionalism was outstanding. To get an oil change took over two hours due to the lack of urgency with the crew members. I've witnessed them oil change only two cars every 30 mins, only because the workers were constantly taking breaks and walking around every 5 minutes. The manager/boss was there and did not care. Not a good place to go to get any work done on your car unless you plan on being there all day. read more

Totally not recommended. Extreme bad service, supervisor and other employees have bad behavior with customers. Technicians have no enough experience about cars they just read manuals each time. They took my car for oil changing, after 2 hours of waiting told me they don't have the filter cup that compatible with my car. read more

They get a 4 outta 5 bc of an incident that has JUST happened. We drop off our car for an oil change, check in and drop our keys to a couple of workers stabding outside. We go indoors to do a lil bit of shopping. We take about 45 mins, then we come back hoping our car was done. But when my bf walked over to me, w/ a "something is wrong" look....i KNEW it wasnt good. He tells me, they misplaced our car key and we couldnt get an oil change. REALLY. Someone could have called us....informed us of the situation. #DominQue #Jeremy w e re ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! they both apologized, told us that a gentleman ended his shift and accidentally took our key home with him. He was bringing it back in about 15 mins. And then told us, that if we cld get the right filter we needed, they wld guve us a free oil change and complementary wipers. That made us happy. As we put our things in the car, Jeremy came out saying that he was able to find a filter that we needed!!! #HAPPYASEVA I LOVE that customer service when both managers will do what they can to rectify what went wrong. Live 5 minutes from this Walmart Automotive. Called during day on 2/7/17 to ask about a new tire to replace a tire on my Santa Fe that had a nail in it. No problem, we have 4 in stock come on in. Well, I went in. The service tech (a nice lady) did her mumbo jumbo looking in the computer system. She then, had to go in the back to see if the tires were even there. Then, went back to computer. Then, made a phone call. In the meantime, I entertained myself reading the Tire Replacement poster for mechanics they had posted to a wall. Then...I am told..the tires were sold to someone else. Okay. Understandable..people order things online all the time. But this wasn't a new order within the short time it took me from calling to getting there. She advised me should could order a tire for me but it would take a couple days for it to come in....OR I could go to another Walmart which happened to have that tire in stock. (not pre-sold?) Anyway...I made the 35 minute drive to the other Walmart this morning where I gave a much nicer review. BTW...the last time I used this Walmart Automotive, I waited 3 hours for a battery change (because it's first arrival first served.) Oh well...I just walked around the cemetery across the street reading tombstones. Interesting. read more

this place is like a bad joke! made it there shortly after 9 am. and auto center was closed. waited around and finaly was told by manager that staff was a no show @ 10 and that i should try again later. WTF! i complained to corp.via emal- no response. No longer doing buisness there! read more
