They have really upped their game here. I used to dread having to go to this Jiffy Lube when I was in a bind. But my last experience was excellent. You don't even have to get out of the car. Corey walked me through everything and was very pleasant and friendly. They let you know things that may need to be done or cleaned on the car, but they don't harass you about it. Certainly, they are a business and they are going to let you know what else they can offer you. But I felt like I could say yes or no. They were quick and professional, and I have now started spreading the word to people to go back to this Jiffy Lube. read more

Asked for lube & oil change. They don't tell you that they can't lube your chassis as I later found out from the manager that they don't have a grease gun. They mark your receipt as that your ball joints are "sealed" when they really are not sealed and need grease. They also tack on a mystery extra "non taxable" $10 that the manager says he does not know what it's for. Talking to this manager was an eye opening experience as to how uninformed and inept he is. We had been going to this location for years, but the last few times have been terrible. We couldn't get certain services done because of either products or people not being available. The last straw was when we went there, we were told to come back in 30 minutes, because they were on lunch. Huh?!?! I highly recommend the location in Countryside instead!!! read more

terrible service they try to get over on the customer by any means. went in to the Lagrange park location and they rip me off with the price of oil and they say they don't sell conventional oil but it's on the wall with all the oils they carry. so that's false advertising I wanted a 49.99 oils change and he tell me it $120. don't waste your time and money. read more

Very clearly asked for the lowest cost oil change. After all said and done, the gentleman brings me the iPad and tells me it's going to be $106. When I asked him if they had provided me with the lowest cost oil change giving him a chance to recover and make things right, he stated yes, and that all Jiffy Lube's pricing is different due to different owners. I went to this location three weeks ago 45 minutes before closing with one car in one bay. Guy comes out and says one of the workers was leaving and they wouldn't be able to get to my vehicle. Went back again today, this time at 10:30am. One car in one bay and was told to pull up to be next in line. After waiting 20 minutes to finish the car in front of me, guy comes out and says, "We are out of conventional oil at this time. The only synthetic we have is $89.95 plus tax." One, I need to know how you are a fast-service oil change place and... run out of oil. Second, how come only one bay is operating at all times, no matter when I go? There is not even a single chance in hell I'm visiting this place again. Went to the location in Countryside 10 minutes later, and all three bays were operating and there were 10 people working. This place is awful. I'm 99% positive that they make up a need to top off my coolant every time I go in. How would I know? I'm not checking my coolant before I go. Last time I went, there was only one bay open but 5 people working. All 5 we're changing the oil for one vehicle. I have never seen that before. It caused a back up of cars. To top it off, when they looked up my vehicle it showed my fiancée's name. They looked at me and said "are you Doug?" Why yes I am Doug. Jeez. They are pretty inefficient at this one. After waiting inline for 15min an employee told me the car in front of me was taking longer than expected and told me to leave. WTF I show up 40 minutes before they close with one car in the Bay. I drove to Jiffy Lube on 31st and Lagrange Rd in Lagrange Park to get my oil changed. I pulled up to the back of the building and put my car in park. A woman was walking up asking me to pull up a little bit further so I did. My car was sticking a little bit into the shop. I opened my door and she asked if I wouldn't mind a email receipt due to system being down, which I replied "Sure, that's fine". I start following her to the waiting area which by the way is VERY dirty. I sit down. As I'm sitting there I can hear her say "can't even drive the car up, what is wrong with people!!" She must have said this three times to the Male employee...and very loud. Loud enough for me to hear her. I immediately walked into the shop. I said "we're done here" the man asked if I wanted an oil change. I replied "no". The woman asked "what's the problem? " I said "I didn't realize I would be talked about, I'm done here". She replied that she was talking about a previous customer. Which I don't believe, as I was the only one there. Her claiming it was a different customer only makes it worse. As I got in my car the woman was scoffing at me. I felt so disrespected!!! I will never go there again!!! read more

This place is solid! Danielle hooked us up for sure! Had the day off and was well over my mileage for an oil change. Took maybe two hours tops. Staff is helpful and communication is a breeze. Great place for a quick tune up and tire rotation. Did not break the bank by any means! read more

I was super impressed by this Jiffy Lube. They opened the door exactly at 7AM on a Saturday morning and changed my oil, vacuumed my car, washed the windows and did all of the things in a Jiffy! Most importantly the light on my dashboard went off and I was overall very pleased with kind and courteous service provided to me. Additionally they offered me a free top off in mid Summer when the travelling gets heavy. Great service, great location....I will go to them again! The pricing is the same as my preferred garage without the 10 day wait to get in. Sensational work! Very pleased! read more

I've always been a jiffy lube customer. I normally go to the same one but every once in a while I do a detour. Normally I have wonderful experiences. Until today. I went to actually get an oil change, check tire pressure and get new turn signal switches. I pulled up and waited nothing. I saw a worker (black really thin guy) come up from below and go to the car inside building. I waited for someone to greet me nothing. I thought maybe he didn't see me and waited. He gets out of a car working on looks at me and then goes back to what he is doing. Note the time was 2pm so I know open. I continued to wait and still no greeting or acknowledgement there. So I backed out and left. Very disappointed won't try this location again. read more

My first time there they were courteous and fast. I have continued to use them over the last few months and am not going anywhere else.

4pm on a Sunday evening and I have a 2 hour drive ahead of me when my beloved Prius starts making a painful whirring noise. I called to see if this location could fit me in (one hour before close, during a Bears playoff game). To my surprise, they not only took me in, but resolved my issue in twenty minutes. This place is absolutely ridiculous every time I go the place is closed very early because they claim that their system is down! I went 3 different times 2 times a week apart and another time 6 months later each and everytime they were closed and had a note on the doors saying the systems is down! I think this location is full of lazy people who just makes excuses to not work and leave early! Or they need a new system ASAP I would give this place zero stars if I could! read more

$65.00 for 6qts of conventional oil and a filter. Laughable. I was in a pinch and this place is close to my house so I took a chance. I have used the location on Archer just west of Austin in the past and they are fantastic (and less expensive). I thought my experience in LaGrange Park would be similar. Not so much. Here's why: 1. No posted/visible pricing. None. 2. Filthy waiting area. 3. Filthy restroom. 4. Charged for a 'Signature 4x4 Service' whatever that is. 5. Employees were more concerned with eating their burgers than helping a visibly frustrated customer. 6. On their extensive checklist on the bill, the only work actually preformed was the oil change. I typically change my own oil and am able to do so with Mobil1 synthetic and WIX filter for around $40.00. I understand the store has overhead and whatnot but what I was charged is straight up gouging. Some regional manager called me a couple days later to talk about my experience. Said he would call back the next day. Called me 2 weeks later. Nothing new from the first conversation. Said he would refund me $30.00. 2 weeks later, nothing. I'll use Jiffy Lube again in the future, but never this location. Do yourself a favor and drive right past this place. I now know why this location is always empty. read more

Overall it was a painless experience. They of course try to sell you the most expensive oil and try to upswell you on other services you "need" they didn't push when I told them I didn't want them. I get a synthetic blend oil and found them to be more expensive than other places so I would probably go somewhere else next time but the overall service was fine read more

This morning was my first time going to Jiffy Lube. My late husband always took care of the vehicles. James could not have made me feel more comfortable. He patiently explained things every step of the way. Not only was my oil/filter changed, but all systems were checked, tires checked and filled if needed and windshield washer tapped off. Jiffy Lube as a company is a rip off. You have to have a great coupon to go and they try to milk you on everything BUT that's Jiffy Lube. You know when you go. These guys and gal are cool though. You say no and thats it. If your strong on that no. These people are always friendly and are happy to refill my tires for free when my tire light goes on. Anyone and everyone knows how these places are. Just go for what you want and say no to the rest. It's the company they work for, not them. They are doing what they're supposed to do. Terrible customer service. 12 o clock on a Saturday afternoon and only had 1 person working. I ended waiting 30 minutes for my car to not even be touched and leaving. As I went to get my car the attendant slammed on the gas and was driving carelessly. Will never go back there. read more

With the change in weather my tire pressure light was going off and I throughly noted that my tires were not flat so I took my car in to get that checked out (yes I don't own a pressure gage, I'm useless) and get my oil changed. Mechanic ripped me off! Took my money and months later found out an oil change was not done at ALL! My engine could have locked up anytime.
