My most recent experience I dropped my vehicle off Tuesday night (was not towed in). I called Wednesday morning to talk to a service rep, mentioned I needed 1 tire replaced without a doubt since it was leaking air from the side wall (this was covered under my warranty I purchased with them). I also requested to have the other 3 tires fully inspected/ balanced & rotated. I got a email Thursday morning stating they Received the tire. I did not hear back from them until I decided to call Saturday and they stated my tire was out for delivery to their store within the next 20mins. Seems like they just forgot to replace the tire. I get a call that the car was being serviced and again I mentioned to the service rep to fully inspect and balance/ rotate the other 3. I went to pickup my car on Saturday before closing, and came to find out the only thing done was the 1 tire replacement. I drove my vehicle home and noticed my front bumper was scratched (obviously was not like this before). I called the store Monday to talk to a manager about it and it kinda seemed like he did not want to help me out. So I asked who their insurance provider is or fleet claims? He started a claim for me. I get a call from the claims representative on behalf of discount tire to go over what happened. I explained and also provided them with pictures and an estimate of what it was going to cost to have my vehicle repaired. Claims representative stated it will take a couple days to investigate the claim. 3 weeks later after (trying to get an answer every other day for the past 2 WEEKS) he tells me the claim is denied due to lack of evidence. Well come to find out they do not have any cameras on their property..... (this is a good thing for the business because in the event where they damage your vehicle) they get out of taking liability. Unless you catch an employee in the act of damaging your vehicle, that would be the only way they will take liability. Otherwise there is no cameras. Seems like they are aware that having no video surveillance benefits them a lot when they damage a vehicle. I do not recommended anyone to discount tire ( not just this location). If a company cannot have simple video surveillance on their premises, that should raise a BIG CONCERN!! Not even an apology for not doing what I initially brought my car in for but also for damaging it.

Wow I wonder if I can have auto repairs done this way too. I paid 700.00 dollars for E-load tires on one of my work trucks. They were about 50 bucks less than Sam's Club. They gave me multiple options for different brands and prices, he installed today a Sunday. Instead of wasting time in a waiting room at a shop. I caught up on paperwork. Not to mention the truck wasn't down during normal working hours. It took about an hour and a half. I wouldn't care if it took four hours. I always have plenty to catch up on at the office. I can't believe no-one has thought of this before now. The only difference between there service and a shop is. I had to pre order a couple days before. They use a mobile install trailer. So it's not a semi full of tires. Although I have had to wait for tires from a shop before they don't always have e-load tires in stock. He pulled in to the parking lot of our shop and did all the work in the trailer. He did ask to plug in to one of our outlets but offered to use his generator if there was no power handy. Awesome!!!!

I mentioned it was important I get the car back by Monday morning for work and they said it would be done by Friday. 8am Monday comes around, no phone call last week, the weekend, I call they said they didn't know i needed it Monday morning, they are just starting it. They said no one told them that.. I then have to take off work. I get a phone call at 10:40am about the results, I need a new EVAP canister PURGE per code, which I received too on my device. Then over $900 for only my front brakes. I just say yes at this point because I have work at 5:30am the next morning and need my truck. I got to pickup my truck at 2pm, the guy at the front desk asks me about my display how it's not working. I thought that was odd, I go to my truck and now my radio screen/display will not light up or display. I asked what happened the other guy Mike starts yelling at me when I asked how can I leave it with you guys, you clear codes, and now my display won't work. He did try and do a few things but acted like he didn't know about it, but the other guy did? Very suspicious. Didn't want any ownership, yelled at me for it not being his fault. I now have no AC because I can't access my display on the hottest week of the year so far and they offered no resolution or offered to take it back in to try and fix the issue.. I had work done by them last year when I moved out here, I trusted them. I thought I had a local, reliable mechanic like I did where I'm from, but I see now that they're unfortunately just like all the rest. I'd pay their prices for a good experience and trustworthiness, but that is gone. I would recommend shopping around mechanics so the same experience doesn't happen to you.
