After having AAA Motor Club come and puff up my tires, I drove here to get the tires checked. They didn't find any problems, I was told they maybe did some "resealing" (whatever that is....) and my valve extenders were ok, and they didn't charge me a thing! I argued and said, "I must pay you for your time" and they said "no." Ok, so if the manager is reading this, I DID go hunt down a bank so I could get some extra cash and I came back and gave your employee a "tip" for all the work done. My tires seem fine so far! I'm crossing my fingers! Ok one caveat if you are in a motorhome: They can only work on tires with up to 20 inch rims. My Class C motorhome seemed workable to them. Based on what they said, if you are in a Class A, you may have to go elsewhere. If you bring your motorhome here, you will have to park at Menard's next door as there is no good place to park an RV in their lot. When you bring your motorhome over to their working area bay, DO NOT use the Menard's "cut through." Right after the "cut through," there is a dip that you will get hung up on with low clearance in the RV. What you need to do is go out, and go BEHIND the Chili's next door (and pray for not many cars in the Chili's parking lot....). Do NOT go in front of the Chili's. If you do that, there is a "hump" that may hang up your RV with the low clearance. When I brought my RV over, I did go through the Menard's "cut through" but I made an immediate right turn through the Big O parking lot. Well, don't try that either! I scraped bottom on the initial part of the "dip" trying to make the right turn. Just go out of the Menard's lot and drive behind Chili's. When you are done, do the same thing, go out behind the Chili's.

If All Pro had diagnosed the problem correctly the first time I never would have agreed to their fixes. I contacted them to see if I could get some reimbursement for their failed work, or a reduced rate on further repairs and they declined both. They did manage to not fix my car in less than a day though, so I'll give them a star for that!

We had elected not to do that the first time, hoping that recharging the system would do the trick. Got it back in, and the condenser was bad. Because it's a Hybrid, the part was only available from Toyota -- it took overnight to get the part, and they had it back up and running the next morning. Replacing this part also required dropping the front bumper, in order to reach it, so it wasn't a real easy job. They discounted the repair for the cost of the previous days' recharge, since it didn't hold long. Pricing was reasonable given the difficulty in replacement, and they got the work done very quickly.

I explained exactly what was happening and was told that replacing an alternator would not cause those symptoms and rather than inspecting the vehicle or addressing my concerns, I was told to take it somewhere else. I then drove directly to Bob Brown Chevrolet, where I was informed that there was definitely something wrong with the vehicle, although they were unable to perform a full diagnosis until a later appointment. My vehicle was operating normally before the alternator replacement and developed severe vibration and grinding noises immediately afterward. am extremely disappointed with how my concerns were handled. When a customer returns within minutes of a repair reporting a serious issue, I would expect the shop to investigate rather than dismiss the complaint. I will update this review once I receive the dealership's diagnosis and repair findings. The Following is what AI told me when I put in my exact symptoms: "Your new alternator or its installation has a major issue. A loose mounting bolt, a misaligned or over-tightened serpentine belt, a bad pulley, or a defective new part is causing the severe vibration and grinding noise when you stop. I left and came back within the 30 min and still waited another 20 before it was pulled into the bay. The assistant manager shoed me the price for the oil change which was $100, had i not been on time crunch and needed the tire looked at i would've left. I was told that they would not be able to patch my tire as it was damaged too close to the side which was fine and I opted to go ahead and get new tires since I already knew I would need to soon. I noticed on the estimate where she showed me the tire price that it was recommended for my serpentine belt to be changed, at this point I was already there for an hour and I told her if that need done then I guess do it since I was leaving for Tennessee the next day. She stated it would be another 2 hours and I took a walk and came back after 20min and I said something about my windshield washer fluid and she said oh yeah mechanic said it's cracked and I said no the pump pops out, I asked if they actually looked to see if it was cracked and was told no. I was told my oil was empty and my power steering fluid was low. I asked if everything was topped off and was told yes. As I'm sitting there and she told me that they got the wrong size belt and then got another wrong size and then she needed to order it from Omaha. She said she would call me when it came in. I was there for 3.5 hours for basically an oil change and new tires. As I was leaving my trailblazer was whining which I knew my power steering fluid was empty. When I got home my son on law and I were changing the bushing for my washer fluid and noticed that my belt is still in good condition. I was charged $300 for the belt to be changed. We returned to Midas this morning so I could get a refund and to have my power steering fluid to be filled since that had not been done. We asked why it was recommended that my belt to be changed and the manager said he did not know and he was going to follow up. I asked him if he looked at the belt and he said no, did you want me too? I told him nevermind. I told him I never had an issue when Rich worked there, Rich was always honest with me. I will never go back.
