    Tuesday evening our refrigerator died. We called Metropolitan Appliance Wednesday morning,…read moredescribed the refrigerator we wanted. They had several that met our criteria in stock--though it turned out only one would fit. Our salesman, Kevin was very patient, and ultimately we said let's do it. For a some extra fee he was able to arrange next day service. The two installers who arrived today, William and Anthony were amazing. They measured carefully to ensure that the refrigerator would fit before they unboxed the refrigerator. They were gracious and efficient and even suggested a way we could solve a problem with a drawer really close to the refrigerator. This was not our first exprerience at Metropolitan Appliance, and it won't be the last. The professionalism of both the sales staff and the installers was outstanding.

    I can obviously only speak to my personal experience, but this is the second time I've made…read morepurchases from Metropolitan Appliance, and if I need appliances again this will be my first and likely only stop. For the appliances I was looking for, they were exactly the same price as the largest retailers were advertising. I can't speak to a comparison of their install prices, but the dishwasher delivery/install/haul-away cost was well worth it. The showroom in SoDo is clean, uncrowded, and staffed with knowledgeable people who are ready to help you. I worked with Kevin, who was not pushy at all, and generally was happy to just talk about what they had to offer in my price range. The big key for me is the service, especially after the purchase. I've had pretty poor experiences from the larger retailers who subcontract out the delivery/install. Metropolitan Appliance handles this portion of the experience only with in-house employees. This is a huge plus for me, especially if there are issues. And for someone who lives in an older home, there are ALWAYS issues. In my case, the range was perfect, but the dishwasher was not. What I ordered wouldn't quite work in my space. I was able to speak the technician about what the issue was, he noted his advice in their system, and I worked with Kevin to find something that would work given the new information. I also had to reschedule the second delivery the day before due to a change in my work schedule, and even though it was Kevin's day off, another employee answered the phone immediately and was able to give me alternative dates. Which were only a couple of days later, not a month out. Today I was able to get the dishwasher installed. The same team showed up. Ned and Jacob were great both times they worked in our home. They were polite and genuinely good people to talk to, and seemed to enjoy their work. They took me through what they were doing in the install at my request for some future changes I had planned. They also realized early on in the day that they were going to be a bit later than the delivery window I was originally provided with. Ned reached out immediately, kept me updated, and I was able to make use of that time instead of sitting at home waiting for no reason. Long story short, despite my moderate purchases here, I felt that my business was actually appreciated. The appliances didn't cost anything more than they would have elsewhere, and the install team was courteous and upbeat, even after a long day.

Leading up to that point all paperwork and getting the loan was handled great. I was impressed with communication throughout. They worked with me and kept on a speedy path. Crane Company did an amazing job lifting our Spa over our home and onto our pad. Richs came out to give me the tour of our spa and answer any questions I had. Richs has taken care of any needs I had & great to work with. Im excited for this year as we emptied the water and recently filled it & ready for the summer!! Family is always excited! I am keeping my relationship with Richs as they will be the ones helping me throughout my Swim Spa experience. The professionalism with Customer Service will come in handy in the future Im sure :) I recommend Richs and if I could offer a discount code I would lol. Need Crane work, Campanoli is it!!     Bought a hot tub a little over two years ago and recently took the cover off to thoroughly clean…read more What I found was extreme rusting on the portion the the cover at the edges where they placed metal pieces. Not sure why they would put metal in a place where there is moisture. Anyway, they said it was not part of the manufacturer's warranty....even though I showed how it had failed.

    I had a gas stove and microwave installed by Thompson Appliance. Albert Lee was booked after their…read morebig sale. Kennedy was very friendly and helpful when making the appointment and giving me a quote. When installing the microwave we needed longer screws due to the way the cabinets were made. So, we had to wait a for longer screws. After a couple of day I called them to reschedule and to check on the screws. The reschedule was to the 18th. They called me to ask me where the screws were. I said I did not have them, or handle them. I did not know where they were. She called back later and told me the service techs left them in the box and someone would be out to pick them up to match for longer screws. After four plus days they still did not have or get the screws needed until the day of installation. What started as the second appointment and became the last one. The Techs on both installation days were friendly and did a great job. On the second installation the price did not match the quote. I called today and the woman who answered the phone made me feel incompetent and dumb by her tone of voice. I only called to go over the billing. I even asked if she could soften her tone. I was told she didn't have a tone and proceeded in the same manner. I felt if I called back it would do no good to complain because from my stand point her attitude was one of a relative who didn't have to change her tone. I had enough of the tone and she was not listening to me...I did hang up on her. I did not raise my voice or get angry but enough was enough. As far as questioning my bill, I will pay for it, I had already listened to long. This is the review SHE is left with. I am giving them 3 stars because of her tone. Otherwise the guys who came out to the house would have 5 stars for the company review. Next time I will be more patient knowing it will take longer but will schedule through Albert Lee. They treat you right.

    They know what they are doing for complex appliance installations. Had to replace my downdraft…read moreelectric range and scheduled an appointment with Thompson after getting their contact from a local Albert Lee store. Getting an estimate and making an appointment was easy and they were flexible when my range delivery was delayed by Albert Lee. Got a cancellation and was able to get the range installed sooner. The installation crew was very polite and professional, very considerate to protect the floors and new range. Did a fantastic job to cut the granite and hook up the downdraft range and adjust the height to a point that almost not seeing any gaps. I don't know why those negative reviews here but I think I got what I wanted and paid for.
