Guy at the counter kindly said hello and took my order; chicken sandwich combo with fries, 5 piece chicken nuggets with ranch, 2 wings (only come in spicy) Wallace sauce, cheese sauce and guess what I ordered to drink... Don't judge me, I was hungry! I ate half and refilled my drink. Which was self serve by the way. So many places don't offer that any more. Although there is a large sign on the counter that says 'we serve dark meat' I was still surprised at the dark meat. I'm just so used to white meat whenever you order a chicken sandwich. It was good! And I don't like dark meat, usually. The fries were cooked perfectly. I ordered them well done. I don't like bendy fries. Took about 15 minutes. The nuggets were good, the wings were good, yes a little spicy. The cheese sauce was wonderful. The Wallace sauce was a very familiar taste that I just couldn't put my finger on. All in all good food, good service, nice workers, and clean restaurant. Just annoyed by the constant 'hi welcome' and all the 'goodbyes' even though people were already out the door, four more people from the kitchen yelling 'goodbye.' Please stop that! Great p people here we first met them at the taste of walnut and they gave us samples of their chicken. We were blown away me and a friend of mine. We go there quite regularly, anyways I really enjoy their fried chicken sandwiches, their grilled chicken sandwich. The wraps are OK maybe little bit too much sauce in them. I do enjoy their hot wings, but the hot wings are kinda hot and I would like to have a milder version if possible, theirsauces are great. First off, customer service was amazing and friendly. It's the only reason I gave this place 2 stars. The food was terrible! The fries are okay, they tasted like curly fires from Jack in Box. The sandwiches were just inedible. There was a lot of skin and fat in the chicken and it just looked disgusting. Two bites in I had to stop eating because I got nauseous. The wings were even worse! I got the 3 for $10 deal and can confirm this deal is real. It was very good. Chicken was tender and tasty although a bit stringy at times, but it has favor because it's dark meat. They use sweet pickels and it complimented the chicken. The value sandwiches are not offered as spicy bit they gave me some sauces to try out with it. I think I'll try the premium sandwiches next time, as I have a feeling they might taste even better. The fountain drinks were very affordable at $2.50. Highly recommend this local spot over all other fried chicken sandwich places, especially fast food chains. I've enjoyed the deluxe chicken sandwich and I think it's the best fried chicken sandwich around and at a much lower price than all their competitors. They only serve dark meat, which is definitely my style. I recommend getting their regular fries, they are lightly battered which makes them super satisfying. Everything is made to order, so there is about a 10 minute wait or so that is well worth it. Crispy on the outside and soft & hot on the inside. I was really impressed by these especially bc I was full AF at that point. SERVICE-- The service here exceeded my expectations. Everyone was super friendly and the cashier remembered my name & would greet me by my name when I approached the cashier to check out the menu after I had finished my meal. Personally I love Wallace I've been there many times but recently I've been getting sick from the chicken. I got sick twice from Wallace and tested it again to confirm it was the chicken and unfortunately it was. I don't know if it's cross contamination or undercooked chicken but something from there has gotten my partner and I sick. Only the waffle fries were edible, not crispy, slightly soggy but edible. The chicken nuggets were wanna-be mc d's nuggets but cheaper tasting. It was spongy and fake tasting. The worst thing out of the three was the chicken sandwich. I took 2 bites and spit it out and had to toss it. The meat had an unpleasant smell to it. It was very rubbery and dry. The breading was soggy and fell apart. I wanted to throw up. I feel duped by the positive yelp reviews. I am so shocked. Either the reviews are fake or the reviewers have very low standards.
