Passing thru West Monroe LA and found this place for a late lunch. Would have been 5 stars but it is incredibly noisy... bad acoustics... like Buffalo Wild Wings loud. Three of us and we all ordered different things. The food was phenomenal. I had the Chicken Berry Salad which is huge. Under normal circumstances I would never be able to finish it but it was so good I did. The Lemon Butter Chicken was also a hit. We ordered a Coke Zero and it tasted very odd, like it was mixed with poop or swamp water. This is Louisiana and everything smells like swamp water, but I didn't realize that it's in the ice and soft drink mixture. Our server was really nice and attentive, she came by and checked on us often. The food was okay...I mean, it's just bar food...nothing special. I ordered the boneless wings, the spicy BBQ flavor. It has no trace of BBQ flavor at all, but it was a good sauce. My husband enjoyed his Gator Wrap and liked the waffle fries. The hostesses (there were 3 of them) all need some smiling training, because they greeted my husband and I with RBFs. It was evident that they've never seen an Asian person before. A Louisiana local sports bar restaurant chain. I came in the recommendation from a coworker. Very much a sports bar atmosphere. While passing the bar area, I noted the tables in that area had beer taps right at the table! The space in general was large and there was plenty of room at the tables and they were not crowded together. I sat at a booths where the waitress warned me that the whole bottom seat padding sometimes slipped off of the booth base.....it did. Ha! The service was friendly. I ordered the half ribeye Po boy w/ andouille & ribeye gumbo. The Ribeye on the Po boy was nicely done. Not over Cooked, not tough....pretty darn tender. It was topped with provolone and seated in a bun. The bun itself was mass-produced Bread, but it was soft and worked well. The Gumbo was a nice mixture of flavor between the ribeye and andouille. It was on the thin side, but not watery. It was also in the salty side.....but not over-kill. A good meal to be sure. As I was wrapping up my sandwich, the young waitress slyly slid a dessert menu in the table. I decided to take the bait.....I ordered a chocolate milkshake to go. When it arrived, it appeared as usual with one exception.....a waffle fry topping the shake off. Weird...and cool. I immediately pulled out the dry coated with whipped cream and chocolate shake to eat it.....interesting! Not as weird as I thought! The To-Go service is terrible when it was open. No one is in charge of it. You need to find a random waitress running around because there's no system and no one knows anything about your order. There was a waiter app driver ahead of me waiting for 10 minutes mad and then I waited 10 minutes for some random bar tender to walk by after him. *Part 2 Also a couple weeks ago I won a drawing for free sliders. I placed an order by phone for that and food for the family. When I got there some manager came out and told me I needed to use my free slider a day or two after but she can honor it now but for some reason never cooked the food. Just had to grill me I guess. She said it won't take long we can make it now. Then the food comes out and it's just the sliders. They never even put my family's order in I called on the phone. Like what the hell. I just waited another 20 minutes after you grilled me to use code early for 2 small sliders, that were terrible by the way. I dare someone to try those. They Never put my food order in or anything so I just left and called Cracker Barrel to go on the way home. I'm not gonna beg the place for my business. I will never be back to this place. Today y'all drop the ball on my adult drinks and for my date night. So when we arrived everything was good. After being seated my date and I ordered 2 alcoholic beverages. While waiting on our drinks my date tells me how shes very picky on how her food and drinks are made and that shes always concerned with the possibility of bugs. So after receiving our drinks my date takes about 10 sips of her drink and low and behold a huge bug in her drink. Most of the food has been good and fresh, my only complaint is the waffle fries are not good at all. Once they are cold they aren't even edible. I wish they would have French fries as an option for a side. We have always had good service even when it's busy, and that is pretty often! Overall a good place to go and I would recommend. Beware of $17 beers and waitresses that don't bring that to your attention! Easy tip for them I guess... The atmosphere here is good, the food is fresh, and service was fine but when the server failed to give us a heads up that the beer we ordered was $17 a glass that lost my 5-star rating. I would have still ordered the first beer but probably would have switched it up a little after. We all would have. When checks came and we all had over $50 in beer for 3 drinks we were very surprised. Add prices to the menu or have the decency to let customers know ahead of time. read more

Plus I forgot to add in my novel of a review that the manager referenced in the review did in fact charge us in full for the salad we didn't eat, talk about adding insult to injury. I don't usually do this so be prepared for a long review right here. I will preface this with that my poor review is for the service and one person alone is the reason for it (Yea Hailey, I'm talking about you). I am in town for an event and came in this evening with a group of 9 at 6:30 pm. We started out by ordering appetizers. Ordered artichoke dip, devil on horseback and a Chicken Berry Pecan salad to share. First they were out of chips so no dip, no big deal right, we order boudin balls. 20 minutes later they tell us no boudin balls either but here is where things really go downhill. The salad comes and we are sharing it and it tastes great but we start digging around for the pecans (candied pecans). We soon realize there are none so we grab the waitress and ask why there aren't any and she tells us they are out of pecans (wait, what? It's a Chicken Berry PECAN salad, I literally ordered it for the candied pecans). The manager comes over (we didn't ask for a manger or make a scene, we simply asked about the pecans) asking what the problem is (like she doesn't already know) and we tell her there are no pecans to which she tells us "yes, you are correct. No one can get pecans right now" (I ate at Cotton last night and had their pecan salad so apparently they can get them to which manager says "that's different") I'm sitting there dumbfounded by this exchange because this woman (named Hailey) is being unbelievably rude (in that eye rolling snippy kind of way). My friend hands her the salad but she stands there and won't take it asking him what he wants, he tells her we don't want it, we literally ordered it for the PECANS and this is her response (think super rude voice) "we aren't taking a whole salad off your bill because ONE ingredient is missing, it's not even a main component of the dish" (Imagine me with giant eyes with my mind blown, it took me a moment to respond because not only could I not believe how rude this lady is but she literally just told me that pecans were not an important ingredient in my Chicken Berry PECAN salad.) So I eventually respond with "huh, it's in the title" to which she tells me (seriously, this happened) that the title is because the dressing is a walnut dressing (huh)????? Apparently she doesn't know what's on or in the salad. I said "really, because the menu says it is a raspberry vinaigrette (which it was and quite delicious) to which she rolled her eyes and walked away. It then took a good 40 minutes for our food to come out, meanwhile she has walked passed our table half a dozen times rolling her eyes as she does and then stands in the doorway of the kitchen with her arms crossed. Please understand, there was no heated exchange, we never asked for a manager (when she came over we thought she was just coming to do the manager thing and apologize) we just asked for pecans. We weren't a group of unruly people, there were 5 adults and 4 kids, we don't drink, we are all professionals and were here for a sporting event and we were spending a good amount of money. We ordered warm cookie sundaes to share and they came out with no utensils to eat them with, we were told they were out of spoons and would we like them to bring us plastic to go utensils, took about 5 minutes to get anything to eat with while the ice cream on top melted. Anyhow, I write this review more so with the hope that someone from the management team see this, I don't know how else to contact a person. The food was great, the wait staff was good enough but this lady is literally the worst management I have ever come in contact with and that is saying a lot, I travel all over the country. This woman should never be the face of your business, she will destroy you. You'd have 5 stars without her but the bad service 100% outweighed all the good. Hey Hailey, next time just say "I'm so sorry, we should have warned you there were no pecans on your pecan salad, we have been having a hard time getting them. is there anything else I can get you instead"....I don't usually write these reviews but this one just really got me. Even though, it is always noisy, I wanted shrip and grits, which was good. But the meal was served without bread. I asked the waitress if I could get a couple of hush puppies. She said she would have to charge me for a full orderd of 8. I said I only wanted two and the rest would just be a waste. When I received my bill I noticed she had already checked for a tip of 22%, which I promptly changed and explained if she had provide a couple ofhush puppies she would have gotten a bigger tip. This is my first time in Louisiana so of course I want Cajun food. It's a little disappointing that the places here don't have spicy (with heat) but I'll adjust. I ordered the Devils on Horseback (bacon wrapped shrimp stuffed with jalapeño, and cream cheese) great presentation as you can see from the picture but the bacon was not done, yuck. I asked if this was how it was supposed to be and the waitress said yes. So I spent my lunch unwrapping the bacon from the shrimp which took away from eating it in the original form. We visited at lunchtime on a Saturday and was seated immediately. We tried the Mozzarella logs for an appetizer. They were aptly named as they were large but very tasty! My husband ordered the chicken berry salad which he enjoyed. I ordered the lemon chicken with broccoli. I substituted a Caesar side salad for the corn grits mainly to cut down on the carbs since we ordered an appetizer. Our waitress was attentive but not overly so. The only problem was that I asked for my salad dressing on the side & had to return the first one. But the lemon chicken & broccoli were some of the best I've ever eaten. This is my second time leaving a review on this restaurant i thought i would get a different experience this time but instead i continue to get bad customer service from this restaurant when ordering using doordash. My order was cancelled after my dasher arrived to the restaurant because one of you guys employees allowed someone else to take my order. Although i was refunded by doordash i think it's ridiculous that the restaurant didn't correct the issue by going back and remaking the order. Never offered a different vodka at happy hour price. So by not comping the two dollar price difference we walked out. At least two adult beverages unsold. We made a birthday reservation yesterday and today because the entire party was not here we waited fir over an hour when ever arrived we waited as the table had been ready but our sever was not ready. After 20 min we sat at the table with the birthday supplies and they told us we all had to come back to the front to wait fir server. They were not friendly and once the server was ready we sat again to wait over 20 min to get our order taken yet tables around us were being taken care of. Horrible service with hosting!! Kids hamburger meal with apple sauce/slices came with fries and hamburger was more like hockey puck from the 90's movie, Mighty Ducks... My husbands burger came fully dressed when it was requested to be dry or UNDRESSED. Got fries instead of the macaroni and cheese requested. My son, daughter, and my burger were all dressed inconsistent to our request.. Daughter didn't get fries.
