Pork belly sandwich
Susan P.

Our first meal in town and couldn't ask for any better. We were a well cared for table of eight and everyone was full of smiles. Started off with some fries with roast beef gravy on them. They rotated around the table and everyone enjoyed. I had an amazing pork belly sandwich which exceeded expectations, the kind of thing you lust after. There were salads, burgers and entrees at the table and all were executed beautifully. Quantities are enormous so come hungry and plan on doggy bags. The view is just an added element to the meal.

We had a wonderful lunch experience at The Camp. It's located in the under the hill area and boasts views of the Mississippi River. Some outdoor spaces are available for seating but it was chilly so we ate inside. Service was excellent. From the host to our waitress, everyone welcomed us and made us feel at home. The space is large but somewhat crowded. I am sure they stay busy because of the nearby cruise ship docking. We were very lucky to get a table after only a short wait. I went with the steak salad. It was just okay. The steak was a little overcooked but the veggies were fresh and I loved the sliced beets. I tried one of the cocktails and it was refreshing. I can't remember what it was called but it had gin and was tasty. Overall, a great dining experience. I would definitely come back but would order something other than the steak. 4.5/5 stars

Well had the dip and it was good but please next time put some meat in there. Felt like it had one thin slice and that is not enough. But au jus was good.

We were in town for a short time today and decided to stop by for a late lunch. The food was DELICIOUS. Those pig in a poncho rolls were so good, the catfish was perfect, and the teenagers all loved the burgers. Definitely recommend.

A friend recommended The Camp for sunset views during dinner and she was dead on. We got a table by the windows and enjoyed watching a gorgeous sunset over the Mississippi River. The food is elevated bar fare done well, and the drinks were perfectly cold on a hot day. The service was friendly and attentive. But the view is what makes the place.

Nothing like a good Margarita!

Service was great! Nice atmosphere @ Natchez Under The Hill. With a great view of the Mississippi River.

Great service and delicious burgers. We went in planning to split one and they sounded so good we opted for our own. The Slow Burn and Holy Guacamole Burger hit the spot! We loved the mix of flavors.

This was our last meal of the trip. So far, we had not been impressed with the food in Natchez. Just being honest here. (Visit Butter Cakery, it's soooo good!) We sadly missed pizza at the Natchez Brewery. We are confident it would have been great and will make it a point to go next time. We started with the pulled pork nachos. They are the perfect size for four people to wet your appetite for a good meal and are delicious! I had the shrimp platter. I normally prefer a flour batter, but the cornmeal batter was really good. I do wish the shrimp were deveined but you can't have it all. We were all impressed with the size of the dish. Plenty of shrimp, fresh hot fries and I subbed tartar sauce for the remoulade. I love their tartar!! Mike had the smoked fried wings in hot Asian sauce. He said they were good. We added a side of Mac and cheese because, well, it's Mac and cheese! Pasta was cooked perfectly. Nice sauce. Recommend the Mac and cheese as a side. The slaw on my platter was good. Not as sweet as I prefer, but a nice creamy slaw. Our aunt and uncle ate light. They each got a slider and fries. Both said they enjoyed them. Dessert: according to our server, about once a year, the bread pudding of the day is the apple pie bread pudding. I'm sad to tell you that if you miss this bread, pudding, you missed out. It is the perfect temperature served with the scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzled with caramel. I know, apple pie bread pudding sounds odd, but let me tell you it is spectacular. Whoever is making the bread pudding knows how to make bread pudding. Not heavy or stodgy, not too custardy (my word). It is so light and delicious. The restaurant wasn't too noisy, it has a casual but not too casual feel. We will come back when we visit again!

Buddha Belly sandwich and Mac n cheese

I really love this spot in downtown Natchez!!! I came here with a couple of friends and this place was popping. We had to wait 10 minutes when we came at 6:30pm but it was worth the wait. I got the Buddha belly sandwich and the pork belly was full of flavor and the fried onions were so good and complemented the pork belly. We ordered the fried pickles for appetizers and it was also very good and worth the price! Recommend this place when you visit Natchez or a local!

Totchos

We ate here for the first time 5 years ago visit Natchez and it was great! Came back and of course we had to get the totchos, seriously 10/10 recommend! I got the dip, which was fabulous! Burgers are also really good!

Great prices and great place for a family dinner. Casual, good beer list, pretty good service. Management could be a little tighter--understaffed on the floor at least initially. Friendly folks totally made up for it.

Service, food and the sunset views make this a Natchez staple. Try the breakfast burger or the fried pickles & peppers

We ate here twice when here for four days. We love old houses, so coming down here was a bucket list item for us. We split their chicken parm, had a dessert, and drinks. I loved their espresso martini! That is a must, and totally worth it. I was a bit surprised on the prices thinking they would be a little less being that we were 1. in Mississippi 2. this is not a high end establishment, but being from Nashville, the prices were comparable to what we pay at a mid-range Italian place in our city. Just be prepared and do not have expectations that you are paying less just because you're in MS, lol. Service was iffy. That was one thing I can't really attest to. For starters, on the first night, we saw a couple of waitresses "getting into it" and though they were in their own little corner, they were still obviously heated with one another. The second visit was fine, but we saw our server very little, and we had to fetch her to get more water. Overall, the experiences were fine. I think it is worth coming for drinks at minimum if you do not dine here.
