Megan and her team are second to none!…read more We've lived is several cities and have always had walking services for our dog. When we got our new puppy, I knew we needed the extra hands while we were gone most of the day. Enter Fairytales. From the moment you meet Megan, you can tell she is deeply passionate about the care of animals. She cares about their wellbeing just as much as the owner! She's not just a service provider, she's a godsend to our family and new pup! From field trips, long walks, south block pup cups...Megan has given our new pug amazing socialization and enrichment. He is thriving as a new city family dog and we have Megan to thank for most of that, continually looking out for him, updating us with photos and videos of his fun-filled days, and her extraordinary effort to adjust him to all different types of dogs and people! Her doggy daycare service with pick up and drop off is a must for any busy family (we also have two) small humans!). Louie comes home a happy, tired pup ready to snuggle and wind down the day with us. We can't wait to see how Fairytales expands to the new location!

I really notice a difference with my dog's trust/confidence after walking with Fairy Tails. Megan is also knowledgeable about pet behavior and extremely communicative. Thank you!

Do NOT use their pet transportation. I just saw one of their drivers dropping a dog off at a…read morelocation and leave another inside the van with it completely OFF and it's 91 degrees outside. The dog was clearly in distress heavily panting and pawing at the window/door. The driver was gone for several minutes. I tried to call the business but was continuously re-directed through endless menus that ultimately led nowhere. I've contacted them online instead. PLEASE BEWARE Update: Per Rebeca's response, the driver did not step away "briefly". She was gone for almost 10 minutes and it was 90+ degrees outside. On top of that, when I finally got a response from them via email the following day, they indicated the "dog compartment had the AC was on 4" - well, the dog was not in the dog compartment. In fact, it was sitting in the passenger seat of the van with no protection, car seat, or restraint of any kind. Another red flag. Furthermore, as I waited for the driver to come back in case the dog went into greater distress and someone needed to take action to save his life, I was repeatedly calling their phone number and went through EVERY menu option just trying to find someone to talk to. In their email response, they also indicated that the dog was panting because it's "naturally anxious" - I don't know about you, but I would also be incredibly anxious if I were left alone in a steaming hot vehicle without knowing what's going on. I also have an anxious dog and there's a distinction between anxiety and overheating/borderline heat stroke panting. If the dog's owner being dropped off couldn't meet them at that moment, perhaps they should've gone to drop the second dog off first and then come back. Disappointing one customer is a lot better than putting a dog in a life-threatening situation. I would also recommend re-evaluating drop off communication procedures and scheduling. I can't speak for their other services, but please, please, think twice about using their pet transportation. All it takes is a few minutes for tragedy to strike, and at the end of the day, it's your fur baby, not theirs.

I picked up my dog from structured daycare at Parview location. The "manager" gave me my dog and…read moresaid nothing. I walked out and realized my dog was covered from head to toe in urine and excrement. I walked back in and asked if there was a problem and she was like oh yeah yeah, she messed her crate twice today but we wiped her off. I should have never been handed back my dog in this type of condition AND without any explanation. And how long was she in this state with no attention to her health and wellbeing? And apparently they accept no responsibility: "Unfortunately we do not have a grooming at this facility and really no way of cleaning her up other than just water. The dogs are crated throughout the day when we are rotating the classes of the different groups of pups. When we have a full house it is almost impossible to keep cleaning crates and transferring her to another." - Megan Clipfel-Johnson, Structured Daycare Manager This all sounds like a District Dogs problem, not my problem. With them knowingly operating one location in a flood zone that ultimately killed puppies during a flash flood last year to an employee at another location hitting a puppy that resulted in its death, you would think they would have a heightened level of care, but apparently not. Be cautious of using the Parkview location if you care about your pup's health and wellbeing.
