I saw Dr. Benham for a simple checkup and I was very satisfied with it. Unfortunately, the billing department sent me a bill that suggested I needed to pay the full price of the visit. That turned out to be incorrect. Sure, mistakes happen; but I received a bill with zero explanation and hand-written note that said "please pay." Shouldn't the billing person do a little more diligence than that? Shouldn't they work with the insurance company a bit more to figure out what the patient actually owes? Maybe it's emblematic of the huge problems we have with healthcare in our country. Either way, I'm pretty pissed off that I was falsely sent a bill for $345. read more
